Amber Heard announced that she is now a mom of three after welcoming her twin on Mother's Day. Image: Supplied On Mother's Day, US actress Amber Heard revealed that she is now a mom of three after announcing the arrival of her twin babies. Heard shared a cute picture of their feet and also added that she now has welcomed the arrival of a boy, named Ocean and a girl, named Agnes. She captioned her post, 'Mother's Day 2025 will be one I'll never forget. This year, I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years. 'Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hand (and my heart) full,' the now mother-of-three shared. The 39-year-old further added that when she had her first daughter, who she welcomed in 2021 her world changed forever and she couldn't be happier - now with three children, she is even more happy. Heard continued to add that despite having fertility challenges, she's grateful to have chosen to do this responsibly and thoughtfully. According to 'People', Heard's spokesperson shared that the actress is happy and has now completed her family. "Heard is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family. Mama and babies are enjoying every minute, and Oonagh is happily running the show,' the spokesperson revealed. In 2024, according to multiple online reports the actress was expecting another baby. However, Heard did not confirm nor deny the claims. Heard has been entangled in a legal battle with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, after she filed for divorce in 2016 and alleging that she was physically abused by Depp. Depp went on to sue the actress for defamation. In 2022, their legal battle became a publicised court case, and after multiple court appearances, Heard lost the case after the court ruled in favour of Depp. One year later, Heard paid Depp $1 million (which is approximately R18.3 million) in settlement money, officially closing out their defamation case.

Amber Heard announces arrival of twins on Mother's Day and reveals their unusual names as actress gets candid about 'fertility challenges'
Amber Heard has announced she welcomed twins in an Instagram post on Mother's Day. The American actress, 39, said she was "elated" newborn daughter named Agnes and son Ocean completed the family she "strived to build for years." Heard previously welcomed daughter Oonagh, four, via surrogacy in April 2021. The Aquman star, who resides in Madrid, Spain, announced the twins' arrival alongside a photo of all three of her children's feet. "Mother's Day 2025 will be one I'll never forget," Heard wrote. "This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years. "Today, I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang." The actress said she "thought she couldn't possibly burst with more joy" after Oonagh's arrival but was now "bursting times three". She said Agnes and Ocean kept her "hands (and (her) heart) full". "Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms, despite my own fertility challenges, has been the most humbling experience of my life," Heard said. "I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully. "To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always, A x." It's unclear whether Heard welcomed the twins alone or with a partner, or if she is currently dating anyone. The Rum Diary star was most recently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianci Butti from 2020 through 2021. Before her romance with Butti, Heard was romantically linked to X founder Elon Musk, art dealer Vito Schnabel, and film director Andrés Muschietti. Her high-profile defamation lawsuit with her ex-husband, Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp, was extensively covered by the media in 2022. The public regarded the trial as fascinating and fueled widespread social media trends. Depp sued Heard for USD$50 million in damages, claiming the actress defamed him in a 2018 op-ed in which she described herself as a 'public figure representing domestic abuse". Although the article never named Depp, his legal team argued the allegations were false and cost him millions of dollars in lucrative film roles. On June 1, 2022, a jury in the US state of Virginia reached a unanimous decision in favour of Depp. Heard, who counter-sued her ex-husband for $100 million, was ordered to pay him $10.35 million in damages. She was awarded $2 million after the jury found Depp's press agent called her allegations 'an abuse hoax'. Heard took to Instagram to say she was disappointed and heartbroken shortly after the jury's decision. "The disappointment I feel today is beyond words," Heard said. "I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex-husband. "I'm even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback." Depp and Heard settled the case in December 2022, resulting in Heard's insurer paying Depp $1 million, which he said would be donated to charity.

Amber Heard announces birth of twins in Mother's Day post
Amber Heard has announced the arrival of twins in an Instagram post shared on Mother's Day in the United States. The American actor revealed that she had welcomed daughter Agnes and son Ocean and was "elated beyond words" to celebrate the "completion" of her family. Heard, 39, welcomed her first daughter, Oonagh, in 2021. Under a picture of three pairs of feet, Heard wrote: "Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life." The actor said she had chosen motherhood "responsibly and thoughtfully" and "couldn't possibly burst with more joy". She described her family as one she had "strived to build for years". "To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you," she added. When Heard announced the birth of her first daughter in 2021, she spoke about her desire for it to be "normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib". "I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way," she wrote on Instagram at the time. Heard is best known for her films The Rum Diary, Drive Angry, Zombieland and Aquaman. She was married to actor Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2016. After their marriage ended, the pair accused each other of domestic abuse and engaged in two lengthy and high-profile defamation cases, the Depp v. NGN trial and the widely publicised Depp v. Heard trial, where Heard was found liable for defaming Depp. For six weeks in 2022, a court in the US state of Virginia heard details of the couple's volatile relationship. Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation over an opinion article she wrote for the Washington Post that alleged she was a domestic abuse victim, although it did not mention him by name. Heard counter-sued. Jurors awarded Depp - who denied abusing Heard - $15m (£12m) in compensatory and punitive damages. Heard won one of three counter-claims against Depp and was awarded $2m in compensatory damages. Amber Heard settles defamation case against Depp Ten moments that defined the Depp-Heard trial
