Beyoncé surprises fans with Destiny's Child reunion at final Cowboy Carter show

Beyoncé brought the house down Saturday night at the final show of her Cowboy Carter tour in Las Vegas, surprising fans with a Destiny's Child reunion. The Grammy-winning artist closed out her tour Saturday night with the trio performing together for the first time in seven years. Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé stepped out in matching gold ensembles, thrilling the crowd with hits like "Lose My Breath," "Bootylicious," and Beyoncé's own song, "Energy." The chart-topping group went their separate ways in 2006 to pursue solo careers but have reunited a few times since, including during Beyoncé's halftime performance at the 2013 Super Bowl and at her 2018 Coachella headlining set, the latter of which was the most recent public performance together. After the show, Beyoncé shared photos of the reunion on Instagram, with fans flooding the comments to express their excitement and disbelief about the rare occasion. Following the Destiny's Child performance, Beyoncé's daughter, 13-year-old Blue Ivy, joined her mother onstage. Blue has been a regular dancer throughout the tour, making her own mark on the show. The Vegas show also featured several guest performances, with Beyoncé bringing out her husband Jay-Z and country singer Shaboozey for brief cameos. The Cowboy Carter tour, in support of Beyoncé's eighth studio album of the same name, kicked off in April at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The Las Vegas performance was the 32nd and final stop on the tour, which included a memorable show in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas, last month.

70% Of Destiny 2's Top Contest Mode Clearing Raid Teams Cheated

Destiny 2 As if Bungie needs to deal with any more Destiny 2 drama, player investigations have now revealed that among the limited number of Contest clears for the insanely difficult Desert Perpetual raid last week, as many as 70% of the top 100 list appear to have cheated. It seems too early to list dozens of specific teams here, as I've already seen at least a couple false positives, but the provable ones? Many are very, very obvious. These cheater clears are marked by certain, publicly available data points, namely (via @aquativityy): Cheaters This is a mess. We have not seen anything at this level with a Contest raid clear…ever. The only piece of good news it that it does not seem to involve well-known, high profile teams including World's First Team Nuts, their livestreamed clear being obviously legitimate. All of this blew up yesterday and is currently the talk of the entire Destiny community, (which outside this, is already struggling to accept the Edge of Fate expansion on its own merit). Bungie has said nothing, as of yet. At this point I would at least put out a 'we're investigating' tweet today, but this is yet another thing they're going to have to explain in terms of how this happened regarding this Contest Mode raid, as they're already looking into bugged enemy health and deltas. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder But we may know how this happened, at least to a certain extent. In its latest round of mass layoffs at Bungie, one of the teams affected heavily was player security which, as you might be able to guess, are the ones who work toward catching and preventing cheaters like this. Not to say that division doesn't exist at all now, but if you're wondering why this is happening at this moment, it certainly seems to fall in line with the timing of that. Destiny 2 It seems likely that there will be a large purge of these cheaters at some point given how obvious it is. But there's an additional layer on top of this, as it's not mandatory that everyone in a party is cheating, they are just playing with a cheater in order to get the clear. All of them should be banned as well, but that's not a guarantee. If you completed the Contest Mode raid, stay in line. You may now find yourself moving way, way up the legitimate clears list or shooting into the top 100 or top 50. We are awaiting Bungie to say anything about this. ‘Luckiest owners ever' switch horses including ‘unbelievable' chaser from Paul Nicholls to Nicky Henderson

HEND GAME It's a notable shift ahead of the new season AN 'unbelievable' horse and serial Cheltenham winner has made a shock stable switch from Paul Nicholls to Nicky Henderson. Ginny's Destiny, owned by Gordan and Su Hall, was second in the 2024 Turners Novices' Chase won by Grey Dawning. 3 3 3 Prior to that he had won three times in a row at the home of jumps, rocketing up the ratings from 133 to 155. With more than £150,000 in career earnings, the nine-year-old has more than paid his way for his popular owners. But the Halls have decided now is the time to move on and have sent him to Henderson instead. The horse's updated page on the BHA showed he moved to the Seven Barrows handler earlier this week. Ginny's Destiny had been with 14-time champion trainer Nicholls since July 2023, having previously been with Tom Lacey for just shy of three years before that. Promising bumper winner Act Of Innocence is another of the Hall horses on his way to Henderson. The five-year-old gelding looks like he could be set for a season novice hurdling after winning at Taunton when last seen in March. Don't Tell Su, a 118-rated hurdler and novice chaser has also gone to Henderson. While £100,000 Old Park Star, who Nicholls bought alongside Tom Malone in June 2023, will now be trained by Henderson too. Gordon, who runs a construction company, and Su have been labelled the 'luckiest owners in racing'. Their first horse together was Truckers Lodge, an eight-time winner who finished second in the 2019 Grand National and won the 2023 London National under Nicholls' expert care. Owners Neil and Alfie Smith have moved Scottish Champion Hurdle runner-up Kabral Du Mathan to Dan Skelton from Nicholls. While the Ditcheat boss has been busy stocking up his squad with some eyecatching purchases, including the hugely promising £260,000 Gold Cast. Henderson is starting to welcome some of his horses back from their summer break. He recently posted a photo of Constitution Hill alongside Sir Gino. Both stars will be on recovery missions in the new season. Constitution Hill looked nothing like the breathtaking Champion Hurdle winner when falling twice last season. While Sir Gino was forced to miss Cheltenham after one of his legs suffered a nasty infection. Music Meets Fashion supports American Diabetes Assn. in Santa Ana

When R&B recording artist Annyett Royale was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 4, she became one of the more than 38 million Americans who live with the chronic disease. According to the American Diabetes Assn., more than 2 million of those living with diabetes are dealing with Type 1, a condition in which the body does not produce the insulin necessary for regulating blood sugar. Although the condition is not uncommon, Royale noted in a statement that there isn't much awareness about what life is like for diabetics. 'No one talks about how you live with diabetes, they only talk about the severe complications from having it,' Royale said. Advertisement In 2017, the singer/songwriter created Music Meets Fashion with her late co-producer, Jamal Parker. The event brings fashion designers, models and recording artist together for a good cause: raising awareness of diabetes while also inspiring others who are living with it. It is also a way for Royale to continue to honor Parker, who died of complications from the disease. 'Music has been my outlet and my therapy,' Royale said. 'It's also been my stage to create awareness and uplift others. I want people to know they can keep dreaming, no matter the obstacles.' Presented by Royale's independent label, Royale Records, on Aug. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Plug in Santa Ana, the event will include the live debut of Royale's new single, 'Destiny,' produced in collaboration with Lorie V. Moore. Hosted by comedian Nicky Simone and RJ 'Poloman' Johnson, performances from recording artists J.T. Beatz, Dex Elliot Berkley the Artist and Kijafa are also planned. Attendees can look forward to Moore's DJ debut too. For the fashion portion of Music Meets Fashion, the work of visionaries like Mexican American couture designer Will Franco and body positive swimwear pioneer Andrea 'Cherri' Dorsey will be featured in a runway show. Other participating designers include the Jesse J Collection, Black Rose, Sheek Boutique, One World Peace, Keosha Piper, Cristina Tenille and Michelle Stevenson's Mood Art Collection. Doors will open at 2 p.m. for VIP ticket holders, who will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, an open bar and swag bags ahead of general admission entry at 3 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to the American Diabetes Assn., which supports research, education and advocacy in the fight against diabetes. Anita M. Dominguez, executive director of the Southern California American Diabetes Assn., said the organization is honored to be benefit of the Music Meets Fashion event. 'Annyett's journey and voice bring much-needed visibility and inspiration to the millions impacted by this disease,' Dominguez said. The association is comprised of a large network of nearly 565,000 volunteers, caregivers, health care professionals and about 350 staff members. The creative celebration merges Royale's passions, while allowing her to use her musical talents with inspiring intention. 'Music Meets Fashion is where art and advocacy walk the same runway,' said Royale. 'It's glamorous, it's powerful and it's deeply personal. It's bigger than the music.' 'Music Meets Fashion' will take place on Aug. 9 at the Plug,1950 E. 17th Street in Santa Ana from 3 to 7 p.m. for general admission ticket holders, while VIP ticket holders can enjoy early entry at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $49.87 and are available on Eventbrite.
