Nepa Rudraksha aligns with Ajay Devgn to Expand Global Presence and Spiritual Legacy
In a move that combines generational heritage with contemporary relevance, Nepa Rudraksha has announced actor Ajay Devgn as its global brand ambassador. More than a commercial decision, the collaboration is being positioned as a values-driven alignment that draws on shared beliefs and a quiet reverence for tradition. Founded in 1973 in Nepal's sacred Arun Valley, Nepa Rudraksha has grown over five decades to become one of the most recognised names in spiritual wellness, particularly in the distribution of authentic Rudraksha beads. The brand's influence now extends across over 100+ countries, including India, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and parts of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Legacy and Leadership The brand's origin lies in the work of Balaram Khatiwada, a priest at the revered Pashupatinath temple, whose dedication to the preservation of Vedic rituals and practices formed the foundation of the business. His son, Mukunda Khatiwada, later took charge of the company and led its entry into digital platforms, thereby enabling global access to its offerings without diluting their traditional roots. Now in its third generation of stewardship, Nepa Rudraksha is led by Sukritya Khatiwada, a 26-year-old Vedic scholar and author of Transform Your Life with Rudraksha. He brings both scholarly depth and entrepreneurial clarity to the table, positioning the brand as a trusted global name while maintaining its cultural sanctity. A Sacred Alignment: Ajay Devgn and Nepa Rudraksha Ajay Devgn's association with Nepa Rudraksha does not follow the conventional path of celebrity endorsement. Known for his longstanding spiritual connection to Lord Shiva, Devgn's involvement is seen by the leadership as a personal alignment with the ethos of the brand. In a recently released short film, Devgn is seen wearing the Siddha Mala and Rudra bracelet, both signature offerings from Nepa Rudraksha. The visuals borrow from classical Indian motifs and are accompanied by a musical composition tuned to the Om frequency. The result is not a product advertisement but a reflection of an inner journey, one that aligns with both Devgn's image and the spiritual focus of the brand. The campaign was conceptualised and directed under the guidance of Sukritya Khatiwada, who ensured the narrative remained grounded in respect for tradition and free from overt commercial cues. Nepa Rudraksha has taken several steps to set a benchmark in product integrity. Every bead is: Sourced from Nepal's sacred Arun Valley Certified by third-party IRL X-ray labs, a first in the industry Evaluated under ISO 9001:2005 quality standards Backed by Nepa's exclusive AAA Standard™, offering a lifetime authenticity guarantee This combination of spiritual reverence and scientific validation has helped the brand build trust across diverse audiences, including both traditional seekers and a new generation of wellness-focused consumers. Strategic Expansion and Digital Growth With a rising global interest in spiritual wellness and mindfulness practices, Nepa Rudraksha is preparing to scale further. Its roadmap includes expanded e-commerce capabilities, deeper investment in digital education around Rudraksha science, and a mobile application that supports guided spiritual practices. Khatiwada's leadership reflects a clear intention to grow without losing cultural integrity. The Road Ahead: Nepa Rudraksha's Future Nepa Rudraksha stands at the threshold of a powerful new chapter; expanding globally, deepening digital presence, and launching the Sadhana app to support daily spiritual practice. With upcoming awareness campaigns and rich, educational content, the brand remains devoted to one purpose: spreading the truth and transformative power of real Rudraksha.

Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar 2' struggles to get screens amidst 'Saiyaara' and 'Mahavatar Narsimha' box office success: Report
Ajay Devgn 's upcoming comedy-drama 'Son of Sardaar 2' is all set to hit cinemas this Friday, August 1. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora , the film will clash at the box office with 'Dhadak 2', starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. But just days before release, Devgn's film is reportedly facing a major problem, it's struggling to get enough shows, especially in non-national cinema chains and single screens. Screen troubles ahead of release According to a Pinkvilla report, the distributors of 'Son of Sardaar 2' want 60 per cent of the total show timings for the film. But many cinema owners are not ready to give that much space. The report mentions, 'Exhibitors are willing allot not more than 35 per cent of shows at their properties. While some single screens have agreed on two-shows per-day, the non-national chains are willing to give not more than 35 per cent shows to 'Son of Sardaar 2'. This has left PVRInox fuming, and the fight is on to secure more shows.' Exhibitors stick with current hits One big reason for this struggle is that cinema owners don't want to replace films that are already doing well. At the moment, both 'Saiyaara' and 'Mahavatar Narsimha' are attracting strong audiences, and exhibitors are not ready to let go of that success. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Only Classless Women Wear these Over a Certain Age Learn More Undo These two films are continuing to gain momentum at the box office, making it harder for new films like 'Son of Sardaar 2' to get enough screens. 'Dhadak 2' avoids wide release rush While Devgn's film is having a tough time, 'Dhadak 2' seems to have avoided this issue by using a different release plan. The report further states, ''Dhadak 2' team is going tight with their release with about 1000 screens on the first day. They are not looking for a wide release, and content with a strategic release on 1000 screens, mainly focused towards the urban markets.' This means 'Dhadak 2' is not competing for too many screens, and is instead focusing on specific audiences in urban areas. Makers planned 3500-screen release The makers of 'Son of Sardaar 2' were reportedly aiming to release the film on 3500 screens across India. But due to the current situation, that number might drop to just 2500 screens. With exhibitors preferring to stick with existing hits, Devgn's film may have to settle for fewer showtimes than expected. Even though things are not looking ideal, there is still hope. The final decision about show sharing is expected to be taken by the morning of July 31. Negotiations are still ongoing between the makers and exhibitors, so the situation could improve at the last minute. Big clash, bigger expectations With a release just around the corner, 'Son of Sardaar 2' is entering a crowded box office. The clash with 'Dhadak 2', combined with the continued success of 'Saiyaara' and 'Mahavatar Narsimha', means the film has a tough fight ahead. But with Ajay Devgn's fan following and the promise of comedy and action, the team is hoping that audiences will show up in large numbers, even if the number of shows are lesser on day one.

August 1 will witness major clash of 7 big films at box office, the films are Son of Sardar 2 and...., full list here
August is set to open with fireworks, not in the sky, but on the silver screen. On 1st August, a whopping seven films from Bollywood, South cinema, and Hollywood will hit theatres. It's not the first time the box office has witnessed a multi-film collision, but this one is making waves for its scale and timing. Coming off the unstoppable high of Saiyaara, audiences seem more than ready to flock back to theatres. The question now: Which of these seven stories will rise above the rest? What films are in the line-up? 1. Son of Sardar 2 Ajay Devgn returns with a sequel to his 2012 hit comedy. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, this one blends romance, family drama, and desi humour as it follows a man helping a couple gain parental approval. The film stars Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan alongside Devgn. 2. Dhadak 2 A bold retelling of the Tamil hit Pariyerum Perumal, this Siddhant Chaturvedi, Triptii Dimri starrer dives into caste, love, and resistance. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, it's far more intense than its predecessor. 3. Holy Ghost A supernatural horror flick with a twist—a kidnapped girl claims she was saved by the ghost of a dead cop. With Jane Osborne in the lead, this Hollywood entry adds eerie vibes to the mix. 4. Ajay: The Untold Story of a Yogi This political biopic starring Anand Joshi tells the story of Yogi Adityanath, inspired by The Monk Who Became Chief Minister. Directed by Ravindra Gautam, it blends politics with personal transformation. 5. The Bad Guys 2 A laugh riot for kids and grown-ups alike, this animated sequel follows reformed villains trying to stay good—and failing hilariously. Expect chaos with Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, and more. 6. Kalamkaval Mammootty headlines this Malayalam crime drama about tradition, family honour, and moral dilemmas. Rich in emotion and grit, it's a heavy hitter in regional cinema. 7. Blackmail In this Tamil thriller, GV Prakash Kumar plays a man caught in the grip of a shadowy blackmailer. Tense, sharp, and full of twists. After the thunderous success of Saiyaara, the industry is testing whether audiences are truly back in theatres—or if that film was an exception. With multiple genres from romance and action to horror and animation, this clash could reshape release strategies for the rest of 2025. Who will come out on top? Will Devgn's star power carry Son of Sardar 2? Can Dhadak 2 spark a new conversation? Or will a dark horse like Blackmail or Holy Ghost surprise everyone? One thing's certain—August 1 will be a day to remember at the movies.
