Did Packers new throwback uniforms for 2025 get leaked early?
The Green Bay Packers have been teasing a new alternate or throwback uniform reveal for later this week, but it looks like a major retailer leaked the uniform early. The team was expecting to release the new look on Thursday. Dick's Sporting Goods, however, didn't get the memo. The retailer's website made available a new "Alternate Navy Game Jersey" briefly on Wednesday before eventually removing the item. Could this be the new throwback uniform? The leaked uniform is navy blue with gold block numbers and three gold stripes on the arms. It appears to match a uniform worn during the 1954 season, but it could also be a replica of an earlier uniform. There have been rumors of an airbrushed faux-leather brown helmet, which would conform with earlier uniform sets in Packers history. The 1954 team wore a gold helmet with a lone navy stripe. Tan or beige colored pants would conform with either set. The full and official look will be revealed by the team on Thursday. Don't be surprised if the uniform is exactly as shown above. On makes some of our gear editors' favorite sneakers. But given the brand's popularity, it can be difficult to find good deals on its designs. Fortunately, this week Dick's Sporting Goods and Nordstrom are both having an unofficial On Running shoe sale. Right now, you can save up to 36% on an assortment of women's and men's styles, like the sleek On The Roger Advantage Tennis Sneaker. Save up to 36% on editor-approved designs during this On Running shoe sale. ILLUSTRATION: FORBES / PHOTO: RETAILER Among the markdowns, you'll find discounts on some of our team's most-loved silhouettes, like the On Cloud X 4 and On Cloud 5—both of which have earned spots in our sneaker shopping guides. Whether you're looking for a pair for walking, running, training or standing on your feet all day, the list of deals below includes options to suit your needs. Just be sure to get them soon, as availability and pricing could change at any time. The Cloud 5 sneakers have consistently made our team's top picks for the best walking shoes. Made for everyday wear, casual runs, walks of all distances and long hours on your feet, the versatile, do-it-all shoe is worth a spot in your collection. The Cloudtilt may look bulkier than other On designs, but it's surprisingly lightweight. These pull-on walking shoes feature the brand's CloudTec Phase technology, a cushioned midsole and Helion superfoam to deliver a smooth stride without any extra weight or discomfort. If your goal is to find a road running shoe that prioritizes support, consider the Cloudswift 3. These sneakers offer an adaptive fit for a variety of foot shapes and feature 3D heel padding for added comfort. The cushioned midsole and dual-density Helion superfoam help maintain performance, even on hard surfaces. Now that On has released the Cloudswift 4, several colorways and sizes of the previous model are available at discounted prices. Two colors are on sale for $120 at Nordstrom as well. The Cloudnova 2 is another lightweight and breathable shoe that brings flexible support, comfort and stability. Most importantly, it also offers a smooth walking and running experience, helping users to increase speed and bounce with the aid of its stabilized heel pillow and high heel-to-toe drop. Like many of On's designs, this sneaker is lightweight and streamlined. It's comfortable, flexible and packs well, making it an excellent travel option. Plus, the collapsable heal allows the sneaker to convert into a slide for another wear option. If you're looking for a minimalist, everyday sneaker, The Roger is 36% off right now in the above pictured colorway. It has a sleek, faux-leather design that can be dressed up, as well as performance features like a springy Speedboard and cushioned sole. The On Cloud X 4 sneaker was chosen by our editors as one of the best workout sneakers thanks to its flexibility, sufficient cushioning and traction for various exercises. Our testers not only appreciated the lack of discomfort and pain while wearing these, but also praised the design's top-tier ventilation and breathability. Like the women's version, these editor-approved, shock-absorbing shoes are suitable for either walking or running. Our gear team also loves their quick-lace design, making it easy to slip them on and off. Combined with their practicality, support and cushioning, it's no surprise our testers also named this pair the best for traveling and for seniors. The men's version of the On Cloudswift 3 sneaker shares all the same great qualities as the women's model mentioned above. Reviewers report better pace times in this design, which helps propel you forward and maintain momentum. They're also an excellent choice for everyday walks, providing comfort over extended distances. The Cloudmonster uses the brand's proprietary CloudTec cushioning to create a comfortable and responsive ride that propels you forward as you run. The propulsive design makes it an especially good option for both long- and short-distance runners. This discount is only available in the pictured color. A White Flame colorway is on sale for less, but it is only available in size 9 at the moment. The newest iteration of the popular Cloudrunner design, the Cloudrunner 2 is a super-plush and grippy sneaker that's ideal for everyday runners. On says the design runs small, recommending you size up by 1/2 size to get the right fit. Like the women's version above, the Roger is a great everyday shoe that combines style with useful features, like breathability and support. Only two colorways are on sale at the moment, but there is ample sizing available.
