Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra battery and charging leak suggests subtle but smart upgrades
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has been in the leaks recently, and we even saw its slight redesign leak a few days ago. Now, the tablet's battery and charging speeds have leaked, giving us a little more info about the upcoming device. A Samsung device carrying model numbers SM-X930, SM-X936B, and SM-X936N has been spotted in Finland's SGS Fimko certification platform. These model numbers are known to be associated with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The document shows that the device sports an 11,600mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. As you can probably tell already, there's no upgrade in the charging speed department. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also sported 45W charging speeds. However, the battery cell is bigger now, at 11,600mAh from the 11,200mAh on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It's not a huge jump, but it's still there. The certification. | Image Credit - XP It should offer better battery life coupled with the more power-efficient chip, rumored for the device. The Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra are said to come with a 3nm chip (this could be the Dimensity 9400+ as per rumors), while the Galaxy Tab S10 + and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra use a 4nm chip (the Dimensity 9300+). So this more power-efficient processor should allow for better battery life on the Tab S11 Ultra. 12GB of RAM is expected for the base models, and 16GB of RAM for the models sporting 1TB of storage. Both upcoming tablets are rumored to come with One UI 8.0 (based on Android 16) out of the box. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has already shown its face in leaks, and we now suspect it will have only one front-facing camera instead of the dual front-facing camera setup that its predecessor came with. On the back, the tablet is expected to rock two cameras. These two tablets are said to come out before the end of 2025. They will face Apple's powerful iPad Pro and the iPad Air for the hearts of tablet buyers. Apple recently released new models from the iPad Air lineup, quite similar to the older generation in terms of design but with specced-up internals. An M5-powered iPad Pro is expected later this year. Let's see what Samsung has in store to compete! Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra spotted in real-world image sporting an infamous design
*Header image is referential and showcases the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. | Image credit — PhoneArena The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has been spotted in a real-world photograph, leaving no doubt that the tablet will feature a water drop notch on its display. Abandoning the previous notch also means that Samsung is opting for a singular front-facing camera, instead of the previous dual-camera leaked Tab S11 specs have revealed that this year's Tab Ultra will very likely be powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It will also sport 12 GB of RAM, and come with Android 16 out of the box. The major visual change, however, seems to be the lack of two front cameras. Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has a water drop notch. | Image credit — Setsuna Digital This means that Samsung will only use a single front camera. Whether this camera gets an upgrade to account for the loss of a second sensor remains to be seen. Furthermore, on a more personal note, I've always found water drop notches very visually unappealing. For starters, I've always felt like these notches seem so out of place on a sleek, modern device like the Tab S11 Ultra. The previous notch design, despite taking up more screen real estate, just looked so much better in my also, for me, water drop notches are the outdated display cutouts that started this whole trend in the first place. I've always wanted perfect displays on my gadgets: no dead pixels, no scratches, and definitely no cutouts. However, after Apple popularized the notch, it became almost impossible to find a good phone without one. The notch then evolved into the somewhat more palatable punch hole design, but displays still have to compromise the visual experience. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra had a much more modern notch. | Image credit — PhoneArena For me, the water drop notch is a straight-up dealbreaker. I'd rather use the Tab S10 Ultra or an iPad that has Apple's new signature notch design. I've still got my fingers crossed that the 20th anniversary iPhone Pro model looks how Apple wants it to look: a perfect display with no cutouts. Because, while the RedMagic 10 Pro looks absolutely fantastic, I doubt that the industry is going to ditch notches and punch holes as a whole until Apple does it first, unfortunately.

New vivo (or IQOO) incoming with a 8000mAh battery and Dimensity 9400+
Not long ago, Honor launched the X70, the mainstream smartphone with the biggest battery so far at 8,300 mAh. As it turns out, vivo (or its sub-brand iQOO) is currently working on a device with not quite the same capacity, but one that's not further off either at 8,000 mAh. This handset with the model number V2507A is already certified for sale in China by the relevant authorities, which is how we know about that battery size. And today it's been spotted in the Geekbench online database. As usual, this has revealed a few of its specs. It's powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM. It runs Android 15, which is a bit disappointing considering Android 16 has been out since last month, but it is what it is. As you can see from the screenshot above, the device managed a single-core score of 2,882 and a multi-core score of 8,762 in Geekbench 6.4 for Android. The tipster on X who spotted the listing claims this phone will be launched as the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro+, joining the Z10 Turbo and Z10 Turbo Pro in the brand's roster. Whether that pans out remains to be seen. Via

Xiaomi 15T Pro name and model number confirmed as it's spotted on Geekbench
Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the 14T and 14T Pro in late September, and the brand is now busy working on their successors. Thanks to a recent certification by NBTC in Thailand, we now know that the Xiaomi 15T Pro has the model number 2506BPN68G, where the "G" at the end stands for "global". Hence, it will probably launch in all the markets where the previous T-series devices have been available. The model number also gives us the 15T Pro's Geekbench run from a few days ago, now confirming that it is indeed this device. It managed a single-core score of 1,057 and a multi-core score of 4,009 in Geekbench 6.4.0 for Android, and as we usually say - don't pay much attention to such scores achieved by testing prototypes. The phone has been revealed to sport a MediaTek chipset, which aligns nicely with past rumors claiming it would be based on the Redmi K80 Ultra that launched in China in June with the Dimensity 9400+ at the helm. Do however keep in mind that the T series devices have rarely been direct rebrands recently, so while the 15T Pro is based on the K80 Ultra, there will be differences, most likely in the camera department. The battery could be in for a change too, the 15T Pro rumored to swap the K80 Ultra's 7,410 mAh unit for a 5,500 mAh cell with support for 90W fast wired charging. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has also been certified by the FCC, and that agency has mentioned it arriving in three storage versions: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. RAM will be 12GB for all three.
