Miley Cyrus' Boyfriend & Dating History
All of us know who Miley Cyrus is. She was the star of Disney Channel's Hannah Montana. She's released banger after banger in her 10 years in the music industry. And her dad is, you know, Billy Ray Cyrus. What's more secretive is Miley Cyrus' dating history, which has been hush-hush since she entered the spotlight more than a decade ago. Most of us know Miley as the longtime girlfriend, then fiancé, then wife of Liam Hemsworth. The two, who dated on and off for about 10 years (more on that later), split in August 2019. Since then, Miley has had several high-profile relationships. And while the Disney Channel alum was in a longterm relationship for most of the time we knew her, there wee some off periods from Liam where she had brief flings with other stars. With more than 20 years in the biz, it may be hard to keep track of Miley's dating life. She is one of the most written-about stars in Hollywood. Ahead, we try to trace her dating history, from the first moment she met Liam Hemsworth on the set of The Last Song to her 2020 relationship with Cody Simpson. As Miley's fans know, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer is one of a kind. So who is Miley Cyrus dating now? Read on to find out. Miley was linked to musician Maxx Morando after her fling with Cody Simpson. The former drummer of The Regrettes was spotted with the Bangerz singer at Gucci's Love Parade runway show, which took place in November 2021. E! News confirmed their relationship status in October. 'Miley and Maxx are still going strong and their relationship is very serious,' an insider source revealed. 'They have been together for about a year now and Miley is really happy.' They added, 'Everyone in her family loves them together and thinks they mesh really well.' Another source told Entertainment Tonight, 'Miley and Maxx have been having a good time together,' the source tells ET. 'They've been together for a little while and are just enjoying their relationship. Miley likes the fact that they are low-key as a couple and is just focused on doing her thing and being around people that make her happy, and Maxx does that.' Another insider revealed that the two are madly in love. 'They are both artistic and creative, so they bond over being musicians,' and did confirm he joined her at her 2023 NYE party, saying, 'He was backstage with Miley and Pete [Davidson] at the New Year's Eve rehearsals and taping having a good time with them. They were are all super friendly with one another and seemed to have a great night. A source recently told Us Weekly that the two really enjoy having a private relationship. 'Everyone close to Miley says Maxx brings out the best in her,' the insider said. 'They make a lot of sense as a couple.' Miley and Cody were longtime friends before they started dating in October 2019 after her split from Kaitlynn and Liam. The 'Malibu' singer confirmed the relationship with a shirtless photo of Cody with the tweet: 'Get used to me dating – this is where I am at !' Miley confirmed that she and Cody had split in August 2020. 'But, for right now, two halves can't make a whole and we're individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we wanna be,' she said on her Instagram Live at the time. 'Like everybody else at this age, we're just deciding who we wanna be with our lives, what we wanna do with our lives. And so, don't make it some drama story if next week we're out hanging out or getting pizza. We've been friends for 10 years and we're gonna continue to be friends.' Kaitlynn was Miley's first public relationship after her breakup with Liam. The two sparked romance rumors in August 2019 (days after Miley announced her divorce from Liam) after they were photographed kissing in Italy. The two dated for a month before splitting in September 2019. Miley also dated Patrick in between her relationships with Liam. The two started dating in 2014 but split a year later after Schwarzenegger was photographed doing body shots on a mystery woman, according to Us Weekly. The two eventually reconciled before splitting for good in April 2015. In between her breakup and makeup with Liam, Miley dated Kellan. The two had a short romance in late 2013. A source told Us Weekly at the time that Liam wasn't bothered with Miley's fling with his friend. 'It doesn't hurt that he's Liam's pal,' an insider told the magazine at the time. 'They really enjoy each other's company.' Liam is Miley's big relationship. The two met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 in which they both starred. The two broke up in 2010 and reunited a month later. Liam and Miley were then engaged in 2012 when Liam proposed to Miley with a 3.5-carat ring from Neil Lane. 'I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,' Cyrus told People at the time. A source told People the engagement had the blessing of Miley's family. 'Billy Ray loves Liam. He's happy his daughter has found the right guy,' the source said, adding that Hemsworth has spent a lot of time with her family, barbecuing together. 'The whole family loves Liam.' However, the two called off the engagement on September 2013. Months earlier, rumors came out that the Hannah Montana alum and the Hunger Games star split. Miley dispelled the rumors by saying, 'I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it,' she posted. 'I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining' The Independence Day: Insurgence star and the Bangerz singer reunited in January 2016, resuming their engagement less than a month after. Miley and Liam were wedded on December 26, 2018. In a now-deleted Instagram post, they confirmed the wedding, 12.23.18' and '10 years later …..'Miley captioned the post. In the photo of them kissing, the singer wrote: 'This is probably our one–millionth kiss.' Less than a year later, Liam made a post on Instagram about his separation from Miley. 'Hi all, Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love' Miley's rep confirmed they had separated. 'Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,' the rep said. The rep continued in the statement: 'Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.' Liam filed for divorce in August 2019. In one instance in an interview with Howard Stern, Miley also revealed that she didn't think she and Liam would ever tie the knot. 'We were together since 16,' she said. 'Our house burned down. We had been like, engaged—I don't know if we really ever thought we were actually going to get married, but when we lost our house in Malibu—which if you listen to my voice pre- and post-fire, they're very different so that trauma really affected my voice. And I was actually in South Africa, so I couldn't come home, and like, my animals were tied to a post at the beach. I lost everything.' The divorce was finalized on February 22, 2020. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2020, she revealed that the Malibu house fire 'did what I couldn't do myself'. 'It removed me from what no longer was serving its purpose,' she told the magazine. 'And then as you drown, you reach for that lifesaver and you want to save yourself. I think that's really what, ultimately, getting married was for me. One last attempt to save myself.' The Bangerz singer denied the cheating rumors when she was fresh out of the divorce. In August 2019, she tweeted, 'The truth is, once Liam & I reconciled, I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here. I've learned from every experience in my life. I'm not perfect, I don't want to be, it's boring. I've grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP. I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I've said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.' She continued, 'BUT at this point, I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time. You can say I am a twerking, pot-smoking, foul-mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar.' On January 13, 2023, which is Liam's birthday, Miley released the song 'Flowers' which is speculated to be about their relationship. Pop culture Twitter PopTingz claimed that the set of the music video was where Hemsworth allegedly cheated on Cyrus with 14 women. 'The house where the music video for Miley Cyrus' 'Flowers' was recorded was previously used by Liam Hemsworth to cheat on Miley with more than 14 women while they were married,' the account tweeted, but the tweet itself is unverified. The tweet went viral with more than 40,000 likes and 10,000 retweets, however it's not confirmed whether he actually cheated on the singer with 14 women. Her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation is filled with stories about a cheating partner, which lots of fans are speculating that it's about Liam. In 'Muddy Waters,' The lyrics are pretty blunt about her anger towards a partner who is guilty of cheating. 'I don't know / Who the hell you think you're messin' with / Get the f*ck out of my house with that sh*t / Get the f*ck out of my life with that sh*t.' She later sings, 'And you smell like perfume that I didn't purchase / Now I know why you've been closing the curtains / Get the f*ck out of my house.' Miley hasn't verified the reports that it's about her ex Liam Hemsworth, but like 'Flowers' it kind of heads in that direction. 'Muddy Waters' even slyly references another type of flower: 'You've watered the weeds and you killed all the roses.' Miley and Nick dated from June 2006 to December 2007. As fans remember, Miley and Nick, who were both 13 at the time, were stars on the Disney Channel when they dated. Nick's band, the Jonas Brothers, also opened for Miley on her Best of Both Worlds Tour toward the end of their relationship. 'It seemed like my life was over, but everyone still living,' Miley wrote about the breakup in her 2009 book, Miles to Go. One of Miley's most well-known songs about her relationship with Nick is her 2008 single, '7 Things.' In the music video, she even showed a photo of her and the JoBro. The two reunited years later to duet on the Jonas Brothers song 'Before the Storm.' Dylan revealed in a 2008 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he dated Miley for a hot second—a.k.a. one day—when he was around 11 or 12 years old. 'We met at her set, I believe, and we dated. And then Nick Jonas walked by and it was over,' he joked at the time. Miley had a puppy-love romance with Tyler in 2000 after they met on the set of her dad's show, Doc. As Tyler revealed in a past Entertainment Tonight interview, Miley was his first kiss when she was 7 and he was 9. 'We were so damn young…I would get excited when we would hold hands,' he told ET. High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale 'feels weird' about turning 40
Ashley Tisdale "feels weird" about turning 40. The 39-year-old actress - who has daughters Jupiter, four, as well as eight-month-old Emerson with her husband Christopher French - will celebrate her milestone birthday in July but doesn't really have any huge plans to mark the occasion other than a simple dinner with her family and friends. Speaking on 'The View', she said: "It does feel weird, I don't feel 40 and I get told I don't look 40 so I feel like it's just a number. I'm just gonna do something really small. I had a baby eight months ago, Emerson, and I had a baby shower that was this big kind of party so I feel like I already did that. So I'm just doing dinner with my family and friends, making it small." The 'Phineas and Ferb' star initially found fame when she was cast as Maddie Fitzpatrick on the Disney Channel series 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' and then found further recognition as Sharpay Evans in the network's 'High School Musical' franchise alongside Zac Efron but joked that by the time her success came about she "wanted to retire" because she had been chipping away at it for so long. Ashley - who launched the wellness brand Being Frenshe in 2022 - said: "At 18, I wanted to retire from acting because I'd done it since I was three! It was one of those things where I'd always followed my intuition, and it's kind of cool to be in this stage of my life where I'm older. With Frenshe, COVID had happened and I really wanted to connect with people and talk about my journey there and talk about my mental health and my journey there. It wasn't like anyone was telling me to do it, I didn't have a manager or agent telling me 'Hey, you should do this now...' It was just like me wanting to do it." When asked about the enduring popularity of her 'High School Musical' alter-ego - who appeared in all three films within the trilogy and then in her spin-off TV movie 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure' - Asley admitted that it is "wild" to see the longevity but ultimately puts that down to the fans of the musical series. She said: "Literally, she's always referenced in popular culture still today, which is so wild, but she's an icon and she's very popular obviously but I think that it's such a fun movie and it's a comfort for everyone to go back to it. The fans are what made that."

Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Caroline Rhea addresses 'weird' exit from signature role
Caroline Rhea finds it "weird" that she left 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch' before it ended. The 61-year-old comedienne starred as Aunt Hilda on the hit 1990s sitcom alongside Melissa Joan Hart, and quit at the end of the show's penultimate season so she could take over Rosie O'Donnell's talk show slot, but still to this day finds it odd that she is not in the final batch of episodes. She told UsWeekly: "That was when I went to do my talk show. So I know it was weird. And sometimes when I watch season seven, I'm like, 'Well, this is very weird that we're not there.' It's so messed up because my [whole stand-up routine] is called 'I Identify as a witch!' "I genuinely think Melissa's my niece. I think Beth [Brodcerick] is my sister. I think the cat [Salem actually] talks!" The former 'Funny You Should Ask' star helmed her talk show for just one season before Ellen DeGeneres took on the slot for 19 years and ultimately passed it on to Sherri Shepherd 2022. Caroline - who returned to her role as Aunt Hilda in the series finale of the magical sitcom - then went on to voice the character of matriarch Linda Flynn-Fletcher on the Disney Channel series 'Phineas and Ferb' and feels "very lucky" to have been on two hit shows as the cartoon returns to screens after more than a decade away. She said: "It feels like the biggest blessing. I get greeted with so much kindness in the world because I was very lucky to be on shows that evoke happiness and innocence. 'It was a very innocent time for both of them. And then I get to be, like, a mother figure. "It's always cheeky and clever. can watch those episodes 10 times and get 10 different jokes. Visually it's funny, the writing is so funny. [And] I love the characters. "[Returning has felt] so different as an actress because 16 years ago I didn't know how to relate to [Ashley Tisdale] as my child. And I love Ashley. I've known her since she was 18. So now it's more fun for me. I just substitute in my own daughter [for Candace]. It's so crazy. They're both 16!"

Miley Cyrus has post-‘Flowers' bloom on new album ‘Something Beautiful': review
Before her ninth studio album, 'Something Beautiful,' arrived on Friday, Miley Cyrus had finally got her 'Flowers.' Seventeen years after 'Meet Miley Cyrus' was coupled with the 'Hannah Montana 2' soundtrack to introduce her as a teen-pop princess distinct from her Disney Channel character, the 32-year-old singer had won respect along with her first two Grammys — including the prestigious Record of the Year — for her 2023 smash 'Flowers.' So 'Something Beautiful' is something of a victory party (in the U.S.A.) for Cyrus. 5 Cyrus makes a confident move into a new era where tapping the charts doesn't matter as much as leveling up the art. Getty Images for TikTok After even getting a co-sign from Beyoncé — their 'II Most Wanted' duet, a highlight of 'Cowboy Carter,' won Cyrus a third Grammy in February — she has nothing to prove anymore. And there's a sense of freedom in the ambition on 'Something Beautiful.' If it's not 'Endless Summer Vacation' — Cyrus' excellent 2023 album that gave us 'Flowers' — it's a confident move into a new era where tapping the charts doesn't matter as much as leveling up the art. She doesn't need to compete with the Sabrina Carpenters of the world. Taking a cue from Beyoncé — who navigated a similar transition with her 2013 self-titled surprise album — 'Something Beautiful' is a visual album that will be accompanied by a short film that will be released on June 6. And there is a cinematic scope to it with a dramatic spoken prelude and two instrumental interludes that are meant to bring a certain gravitas to it all. 5 Miley Cyrus performed her No 1 smash 'Flowers' at the 2024 Grammy Awards. AFP via Getty Images But while we'll reserve final judgment until the film, the standalone album doesn't really need it. So just indulge Miss Miley — or use that skip button — and enjoy the rest of 'Something Beautiful.' Cyrus comes out swinging like a wrecking ball with the title track, which is one of the best things that she has ever recorded. Although it feels like it would have been an epic closer, it immediately sets a high bar for the album as she veers from D'Angelo-esque neo-soul to Pink Floyd-ish prog-rock — she has cited 'The Wall' as an inspiration for this album — in a way that you would've never imagined that Mickey Mouse would've never imagined. Indeed, there's a genre-blurring boldness to it that conjures up Prince, who Cyrus echoes when she sings 'watching the doves cry into the sunrise.' 5 Miley Cyrus performed at SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert' at Radio City Music Hall in February. Kevin Mazur/Peacock via Getty Images It gets the album off to a stellar start that continues with 'End of the World,' an apocalyptic, retro-'80s bop that is part Prince — think '1999' — and part Stevie Nicks, an influence who Cyrus previously channeled on 2020's 'Midnight Sky.' Although the single hasn't quite taken off like 'Flowers' yet, it deserves to be one of the bops of summer. Then there's 'More to Lose,' an aching breakup ballad that seems to hint at Cyrus' bruised heart from her split with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth: 'You're looking like a a movie star in a worn-out coat/So I throw away my mind/It happens all the time,' she sings, letting you feel every bit of her pain in her signature, singular timbre. Meanwhile, 'Easy Lover' is a breezy ditty that effortlessly straddles country and pop, blues and soul. Apparently Cyrus offered the song to Beyoncé for 'Cowboy Carter' before recording it herself. 'Tell 'em B,' she even ad-libs in a nod to Mrs. Carter that would have made perfect sense in a duet. 5 Miley Cyrus' 'Something Beautiful' album will have a companion film released on June 6. AP While we unfortunately don't get another duet with Beyoncé on 'Something Beautiful' — the two sounded way better together than they should have on 'II Most Wanted' — Cyrus gets help from Brittany Howard and Naomi Campbell(!), respectively, on 'Walk of Fame' and 'Every Girl You've Ever Loved,' two of the electro-dance tracks in the final stretch of the album. But here, they feel like a bit of a retreat back to the dance-pop of 'Endless Summer Vacation.' You kinda wish that Cyrus had had the courage of her convictions with which she started the album. It's as if she felt that she needed to hedge her bets. But 'Golden Burning Sun' and 'Pretend You're God' are dreamy reveries that set the blissed-out mood for summer romance. And when Cyrus ends the album with the psych-tinged ballad 'Give Me Love,' you'll be offering up just that.
