New Champion Crowned on AEW Collision in Bloody and Violent Battle

Kyle Fletcher won the TNT Championship in the main event of AEW Collision in Chicago. AEW held a special Thursday night edition of Collision, where the main event featured a big title match. Dustin Rhodes defended his TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher in a Street Fight. The two wrestlers had a heated segment on last week's Collision, which led to Rhodes putting his TNT title on the line in this brutal match. Rhodes won the TNT Championship at AEW All In just 19 days earlier. Sadly for him, his first title run in AEW ended quickly in a shocking loss. Since the match was a Street Fight, fans expected chaos and they got it. The match included tables, steel chairs, steel steps, and even thumbtacks. In the final moment of the match, Rhodes grabbed a handful of thumbtacks and poured them into Kyle Fletcher's tights. He then kicked Fletcher in the groin. Don Callis tried to help Fletcher by handing him a screwdriver. He hit Dustin Rhodes with the screwdriver, then attacked his injured leg with it, driving into Rhodes' knee. While, Rhodes tried to fight back with a roll-up pin. However, Fletcher hit him screwdriver again on his head and finished him off with a Brainbuster to win the TNT title for first time in his AEW career. Kyle Fletcher didn't stop after winning the TNT Championship. He kept attacking Dustin Rhodes's hurt leg, slamming it into the ring post and hitting it with a steel chair. The officials stepped in and pulled him away. Fletcher then walked up the ramp and celebrated with the Don Callis Family. As Rhodes was carried on a stretcher. Interestingly, Dustin Rhodes' tag team partner, Sammy Guevara, posted a tweet after the show saying, 'It was nice while it lasted.'
