The star revealed their top tips after a poll of 500 adults who use online dating platforms found 45 per cent struggle to get the perfect shot of themselves. Kitty Scott-Claus said: "There is quite a bit of pressure to get it right. 'You have even less time to make a first impression on a dating app than you do in real life, so that initial picture is all-important.' The research also found it takes an average of 10 attempted pictures taken before people decide they're happy enough to upload one. While 42 per cent admitted they've been actively 'turned off' by a bad online snap, of someone they may otherwise have been interested in. And 41 per cent have been on a date who turned out to look nothing like their profile snap. Edinburgh Pride announces headline acts with X Factor star to hit stage

More info The organisers of Edinburgh Pride have announced their headline acts, with event details and the march route announced. For their 30th anniversary, X Factor star Diana Vickers will be leading the performances. She'll be joined by singer Kelli-Leigh, as well as RuPaul's Drag Race UK stars Ellie Diamond and O'Connor. The main event is being held on June 21, with a day of 'celebration, joy and protest' for the city. Also set to perform are local drag talents Sissy Scorpio, and Rozie Cheeks, with high-energy DJ sets throughout the day from Sylva, Darran Glasgow, and Lezzer Quest. The main stage will by hosted by Edinburgh drag queen 'royalty' Blaze. It'll all kick off from 2pm, after the march comes to an end. Here & Now musical brings Steps hits to Glasgow stage
The King's Theatre is set to host Here & Now as part of its UK and Ireland tour from September 16 to 20. Rebecca Lock will reprise her role as Caz, while Finty Williams and Blake Patrick Anderson return as Patricia and Robbie, respectively. River Medway, a fan favourite from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, is returning as Jem. Edward Baker Duly will play Max and John Stacey as Lesley. READ MORE: Glasgow's Lulu reveals dream to sing to former US President The principal cast is being joined by new faces, including Jacqui Dubois as Vel, Chris Grahamson as Gareth, and Rosie Singha as Neeta. Here & Now features Steps' most popular songs and a book by Shaun Kitchener. It is produced by the band and ROYO, with Pete Waterman. Rachel Kavanaugh is signed on as director, with Olivier Award-winning Matt Cole as choreographer and Matt Spencer-Smith as musical supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger. Set in the seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, the story unfolds on a Friday night. The plot follows the characters' journey as they grapple with the possibility of losing happiness or cling to hope for a happy ending. Additional artistic contributors include Tom Rogers for set design, Gabriella Slade for costume design, Howard Hudson for lighting design, Adam Fisher for sound design, and Sam Cox for wigs, hair, and makeup design. The cast was selected by Will Burton at Grindrod Burton Casting. Further casting announcements will be made.
