Sexual LGBT books revealed in list of 596 books banned by Pentagon
A list of 596 books banned from use at the Department of Defense's military schools under President Donald Trump's administration was recently released by a U.S. district court. The list includes numerous books on graphic LGBTQ topics, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) topics, and other left-wing topics. According to The Daily Caller, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia released a list on July 11 of the books the Pentagon has banned from its military schools. The list was released as part of the lawsuit brought against the Department of Defense Education Activity by the American Civil Liberties Union. The Trump administration's Department of Defense was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union, military students, and the family members of military students in April following multiple book bans and curriculum changes implemented by the administration to remove DEI policies and curriculum from the military. 'Our DoDEA schools are not playgrounds for left-wing activists pushing race-baiting, gender confusion, and anti-American propaganda,' DOD Watch Executive Director Nicole Kiprilov said in a statement to The Daily Caller. 'This isn't about banning ideas; it's about stopping the deliberate indoctrination of military children with a radical ideology that directly contradicts the values that should be shaping our children's growth and development.' READ MORE: Defense Department sued over Trump admin's alleged 'book bans' 'The Trump administration is fighting for military families by making sure DoDEA schools reflect the values of service, sacrifice, and country, and not the woke agenda of activist bureaucrats,' Kiprilov added. The Daily Caller reported that a significant number of the books included in the list feature sexual LGBTQ themes aimed at minors, while other books on the list feature DEI and other left-wing topics. One of the books on the list is a children's book titled 'My Dad Thinks I'm a Boy?!: A Trans Positive Children's Book.' According to a description on Amazon's website, 'This powerful and uplifting book for children aged 6 – 9 and their families humorously portrays a situation that is often too common, where a trans child is forced to negotiate between their true self and their parents' love.' Another book on the list is titled 'Dude, You're a Fag: Masculinity and Sexuality in High School.' A description of the book claims that it explains 'how the 'specter of the fag' becomes a disciplinary mechanism for regulating heterosexual as well as homosexual boys and how the 'fag discourse' is as much tied to gender as it is to sexuality.' Other books included as part of the Pentagon's ban include 'Sex Is a Funny Word: A Book about Bodies, Feelings, and YOU, 'ABC's of LGBT+,' 'Auntie Uncle: Drag Queen Hero,' and 'Baby Drag Queen.'

Sai Abhyankkar opens up on landing six big projects before his composer debut
Popular indie singer-composer Sai Abhyankkar seems to be the talk of the tinsel town. The 'Katchi Sera' sensation, whose debut project as a film composer is yet to be released, has already signed six upcoming big-star films, an unusual feat that has become a topic of discussion on social media. Now, in an interview, Sai has opened up on the signing spree, crediting positive talks among industry insiders for this. 'See, most of the names I am currently working with are all huge. So, if the audiences are thinking so much about this, imagine how much the directors and producers would have. Almost everybody in the industry know each other. So it's all about networking,' said Sai, in an interview with film critic Sudhir Srinivasan. 'I have a hunger to create good music, present something new to the audiences, and be among them. I want to work a lot, make some good movies, present my soundscape, and see how they receive it. The whole point is about what difference we are creating, isn't it?' the composer said, before crediting the producer of his debut film, the Raghava Lawrence-starrer Benz, for paving the way for this incredible line-up. 'I should thank Sudhan sir (Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios); he's the one who signed me solely based on one popular track ('Katchi Sera'). That's how it started. So they listened to my songs and they spoke about it with others in the industry. That word-of-mouth played a part, but I also believe that this is God's plan. Moreover, many films that I had signed much earlier are being announced only now,' added Sai. Sai's dream line-up includes Benz, a Raghava Lawrence-starrer that is part of the LCU; actor Suriya's Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji; Silambarasan TR's STR 49with Ramkumar Balakrishnan; Karthi's Marshal, directed by Tamizh; Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude, co-starring Mamitha Baiju; Shane Nigam's Balti, directed by Unni Sivalingam; and the biggest of them all, Allu Arjun's much-anticipated magnum opus with Atlee, tentatively called AA22xA6.

GOP Senators Stunned by Terrible Rule in Budget Bill They Voted For
In the latest installment in 'Dude, What Law Did I Just Pass?' some Republicans were shocked to learn of a provision in Donald Trump's behemoth budget bill that will tax gambling losses, HuffPost reported Tuesday. Under the new provision, gamblers will no longer be allowed to deduct 100 percent of their losses from their income tax, and instead will only be allowed to deduct 90 percent. 'Now, for example, gamblers who win $100,000 but lose $100,000—coming out even—would still be required to pay taxes on $10,000,' according to HuffPost. The provision was apparently added at the last minute by Idaho Senator Mike Crapo, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Republican senators, who had been in a mad rush to see Trump's tax and spending legislation passed by the Fourth of July, admitted that they didn't know what the provision was. 'If you're asking me how it got in there, no, I don't know,' said Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley during an interview on Tuesday. Texas Senator John Cornyn admitted, 'I don't know anything about it. I'm not sure what it does.' 'I was so focused on Medicaid, I wasn't looking for other reasons to be against the bill,' said North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, one of just three Republicans to vote against the bill. 'But that would be another one.' Already, bipartisan efforts have sprung up in the House and Senate on provisions to repeal the rule, concerned that it will attract big bettors to black-market gambling in an attempt to escape the rule.
