Jason Momoa Reacts To Son's Dune: Part Three Casting
Last month, you may have seen some chatter around the casting of the two young actors playing Leto II and Ghanima, the twin children of Paul Atreides and Chani, in the upcoming Dune: Part Three. As far as we know, Dune: Part Three will follow the events of Frank Herbert's second Dune novel, Dune: Messiah. For context, Paul and Chani are portrayed by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya in Denis Villeneuve's film adaptations. And at the time of the casting reveal, there was much praise for the fact that the filmmaker did a damn-good job of finding two teens who look like they could actually be Timmy and Zendaya's biological kids — which is funny, given that one of the young stars already has very famous parents. In case you missed it, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa — who will star as Leto II alongside Ida Brooke as Ghanima — is the 16-year-old son of Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet. Of course, Jason also appeared in Dune: Part One as Duncan Idaho back in 2021, and will be reprising the role in Dune: Part Three. However, speaking at the premiere for his new Apple TV+ series, Chief of War, over the weekend, Jason was keen to emphasize that his son landed the part all by himself. 'He did it on his own. I didn't want to help him, and he's done it all on his own,' Jason told Extra TV after being asked about the Dune casting. 'I couldn't do what he's doing at his age. There's no way I could sit in a room with Denis Villeneuve and hold my own. I was on Baywatch at 19. He's 16 and he's holding his shit down with Denis Villeneuve.' Despite praising his son's confidence and work ethic, Jason did joke that Nakoa-Wolf is in for 'a rude awakening' when he sees what really goes into moviemaking. '[He's] into the workforce for the first time. It's gonna be good,' he added. In another red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jason also joked that his son is gonna be 'way better' than him, which is exactly 'what you want for your children.' 'This kid…I [was] like, 'No, no, you can't act. No, no no,' and then he did it all on his own,' the dad of two gushed. 'He'll be a force.' Shooting for Dune: Part Three is reported to be starting very, very soon, so it sounds like these two have got a fun father-son trip in store. LMK your thoughts on the casting below. Tom Holland Quickly Brings Up Zendaya When Asked About His Favorite Wimbledon Look
THE RUNDOWN: Tom Holland is just like the rest of us—he has a favorite Zendaya look, too. When recently asked what his all-time favorite Wimbledon outfit was, he, of course, mentioned his fiancée. 'Zendaya wore that Ralph Lauren suit a couple of years ago,' he told GQ. 'She just looked so beautiful and so at home. It meant so much to me for her to be in a place that I call home and look like such a part of our community.' While Holland said 'a couple of years ago,' Zendaya actually wore two Ralph Lauren suits to Wimbledon last July. The first, worn on day 13, was a khaki blazer over a light blue button-down shirt with dark-wash oversize denim pants. She accessorized with a knit blue and white striped tie and large pearl earrings. The second look, which she wore the following day, was a white blazer over a blue and white striped button-down shirt, and she topped it off with another knit blue tie. Holland attended Wimbledon with his younger brother Paddy this year. Zendaya couldn't make it because she's currently filming Dune: Part Three. Another project on her slate is Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, The Odyssey, which Holland will also star in. In an interview with Vanity Fair last year, Zendaya was asked if it ever feels strange acting alongside Holland. 'Not really,' she shared. 'It's actually strangely comfortable. It's like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you're acting beside. I love working with him. He's so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he's absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That's how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.'

Timothée Chalamet is currently filming Dune: Part Three, but took a moment to hop on Instagram and share a bunch of random photos of himself from over the years. Honestly there are a lot of gems... But we're here to talk about this photo of Timothée semi-shirtless on a yacht. Obviously there's a lot to stare at, but please note the blue pillows in the back of this photo. Because 10/10 percent convinced that these are the same pillows featured in the background of Kylie Jenner's photos from her birthday trip to the Bahamas in 2024. So yeah, this is just about as close as we've come to Timothée and Kylie going Instagram official. FYI, a source chatted to People about this trip after it went down, saying Kylie went to the Bahamas with a "small group of close friends" including Timmy for a "birthday bash." They added, "It was a nice break for her. She's incredibly happy with him. She's never been in love like this before. He's great for her. Her family loves him. He's so discreet and always has her back. He's very much a gentleman and everything that Kylie deserves. They are very serious." Anyway, look forward to seeing photos from their summer 2025 yacht trip in, IDK, 2027 I guess.

Zendaya goes viral for ‘very demure' fan encounter while filming ‘Dune: Part Three'
Zendaya may be away from her fiancé Tom Holland while filming 'Dune: Part Three' in Budapest, but she's still being showered with love thanks to one fan's enthusiastic pup. A video of the Oakland actor petting a small black dog has gone viral, with several social media users praising Zendaya for her etiquette. The brief clip shows the ' Euphoria ' star standing next to a black van on the side of a street in Budapest, chatting with fans sitting on the ground in front of her. Zendaya appears to ask permission to approach one of the dogs among the group. Upon receiving consent, Zendaya drops into a squat to get closer when the dog quickly jumps onto her knees and begins licking her face. 'Pov: your dog just licked Zendaya's mouth,' read the text on the video, shared on TikTok on Friday, July 4. The post has since received 1.4 million views and 223,300 likes. 'Bro made the most of his opportunity,' one fan joked in the comment section, receiving 3,057 likes, while another simply wrote, 'He took his chance,' earning 65 likes. Once the dog jumps off her lap in the video, Zendaya laughs off the interaction and continues scratching its head. Her gentle approach struck fans in the comment section, who praised the Golden Globe-winning actor for being respectful throughout the interaction. 'See how she asked before petting the dog? Very mindful very demure,' commented TikTok user @preka012, receiving 30,400 likes. Though Zendaya appears to be alone in the video, her ' Dune ' castmates Timothée Chalamet and Jason Momoa are due to join her in Budapest for the third installment of the science fiction series, which adapts Frank Herbert's 1969 novel 'Dune Messiah.' Director Denis Villeneuve is shooting sequences of the film with IMAX cameras, according to Variety, though not exclusively. This approach mirrors Christopher Nolan's work on his next project, 'The Odyssey,' in which Zendaya and Holland star. Both films are reportedly the only ones to be produced in such a way. 'The Odyssey' is set for theatrical release on July 17, 2026, while 'Dune: Part Three' is expected in theaters in December 2026. Meanwhile, as Zendaya begins working on 'Dune: Part Three,' Holland has been spotted enjoying some downtime at Wimbledon and the Silverstone Grand Prix in his native England.
