Today Only: Grab This Dyson Supersonic Dupe for Less than $100 at Best Buy

The world of hair dryers is dominated by big names like Dyson and Shark. And rightfully so, they make great products especially when it comes to hair care. But those aren't the only ones that do a great job. The Laifen Swift SE hair dryer is a great budget alternative if you don't feel like dropping a couple hundred bucks on the Dyson Supersonic. The Laifen Swift SE hair dryer is usually listed at $140 but right now at Best Buy you can take $50 off that price. That brings the total down to $90. Although it comes in tons of different colors, only the white color option is discount. Plus, this sale ends tonight so if you're interested, act fast. This hair dryer comes with three different removable nozzles, two smooth nozzles and a diffuser nozzle . These can be changed depending on your hair type and what look you're going for. It has an air speed of 21 m/s and 200 million negative ions. With smart temperature control, you can ensure you're not burning your hair or overheating the machine. It has three temperatures, hot at 176°F, medium at 120°F and cold at room temperature. It also has a temperature cycling mode. Plus, the LED lights help you know what mode your on. We all know how loud most hair dryers can but this one has six layers of noise reduction. That helps make it super quiet at a just 59 decibels, the equivalent loudness of a normal conversation. The magnetic design makes it easy to set up and take apart. It has an elegant yet ergonomic deign, making it easy to grip. And it weighs less than a pound, so if you have long hair like me, it won't turn into an arm workout. Why this deal matters High quality hair dryers can be upwards of a couple hundred bucks. The Dyson Supersonic starts at $300 and the Shark starts at $200. This one from Laifen's works very well and costs less than half of the big names. Normally $140, it's down to $90 right now. But again, this deal ends tonight so make sure to grab one if you're interested.

Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner has now dropped to cheaper price at this online retailer than on Dyson's own site

If you're in need of a vacuum overhaul, there's currently a way to get one for cheaper. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is discounted from £379.99 to £279. 1 Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner £299 (was £379.99) A vacuum cleaner is a household essential that most of us own, but not all are built the same. After years of use, your machine can become less effective at sucking up dirt and hair, plus the technology gets out of date compared to newer launches. One of the most popular features when buying a new vacuum is the option to use it cordless, which the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is ideal for. It also transforms into a handheld model, so you can use it on stairs and to clean furniture. The vacuum cleaner has a significant run-time of 60 minutes, so unless you're vacuuming for over an hour, you should be able to finish up without needing to re-charge the battery. The benefit of cordless vacuums is that they're not only easier to manouevre, but they're usually lighter and more compact for storage too. The V10 Absolute Cordless is also discounted at Dyson right now, however it's still slightly cheaper at Appliances Direct. Several different small attachments are included, plus two separate heads - one to tackle ground-in dirt and hair on carpet, and one to remove dust and debris from hard flooring. For storage and charging, there's a docking station that mounts onto the wall, making the vacuum cleaner easy to reach when you need it. If you hate the chore of emptying the bin, it doesn't get much easier than this, because you can simply push a button to empty the vacuum cleaner, without having to touch anything. Lots of shoppers vouch for the vacuum cleaner in the reviews on Dyson's website, with one saying: ''Very Happy.'' ''Light to use and picks up dog hairs wonderfully!!'' Another shopper added: ''We have had it for a few weeks now and so far we love it - the power and performance is excellent and the suction and filtration system is brilliant.'' ''Also the Battery life is perfect.'' A third shopper added: ''It is absolutely amazing, lightweight, easy to set up and comes with all the accessories you need to keep your house clean.'' ''Super efficient for pets and their loose hair.'' If you're still wanting to compare the best cordless vacuum cleaners to find the right one for you, The Sun Shopping round-up includes Shark, Dyson and Vax. best steam mops can help with deep cleaning and shine.

Dyson's new Airwrap is now available to buy, and it's knocked $100 off the Airwrap i.d.

Dyson has finally launched its new Airwrap with a game-changing straightening attachment. The Airwrap Co-anda 2x is the brand's latest addition to its hairstyling line-up, and it's a pretty cool upgrade. Dubbed the "most powerful Dyson Airwrap multi-styler", it's lighter, more intelligent and you'll get six different attachments in your kit, depending on which hair type you pick. If you're going for Straight / Wavy, that includes the new AirSmooth2x that uses only air pressure (more on this later). For Curly / Coily, you'll get the Tension comb 2x attachment to stretch and smooth. The price? On you can now purchase the brand-new Airwrap for $699.99. And to celebrate the launch, Dyson has cut the price of last year's Airwrap i.d., now $100 off. So, if you were on the fence about grabbing an Airwrap, there's now two great reasons to think about taking the plunge. Dyson's new styler is powered by the new Hyperdymium 2 motor, which delivers twice the air pressure as the original model. And in true Dyson fashion, it's also incredibly quiet. Boasting 30% more power than the original, it's still just as quiet and comes with a smart compatible app to use alongside it. With each purchase, you get six attachments to achieve your desired look. The Dyson Airwrap i.d. is one of the brand's best-selling stylers, thanks to its versatility, ease of use and speed. It even has an Ai-auto-hair-curling settling that you can operate via your phone, automatically programming it to curl your hair. If you're looking for a stress-free way to style your hair, with $100 off, it's an excellent deal. I'm seriously impressed by the Dyson Co-anda 2x for many reasons (it's powerful, quiet and quick), but the one thing I'm really excited about is the straightening attachment – a new addition to the Airwrap range. The Airwrap's main rival, the Shark FlexStyle, has offered a similar straightening attachment since its launch, so it's a relief to see that Dyson is following suit. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. And it seems to be a whole lot smarter. Using the new Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) means you can automatically adjust the settings of each attachment to suit you. And then there's Dyson's smart app that works alongside the styler, which is, quite frankly, genius. You can set up your hair profile and use the advanced i.d. curl sequence to react to your movements, adjusting heat, airflow and timings to match your hair type. Depending on your hair type will depend which kit you go for, whether Straight / Wavy or Curly / Coily – each sold with different attachments to suit your style. As a premium product though, it comes with a premium price tag. Right now, you can grab the Airwrap i.d. for $200 less. But, I'll wait to reserve full judgment on whether the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x is totally worth it when we get our hands on it for a review in the coming weeks.

The best-selling Dyson fan is a jaw-dropping $578 off on Amazon Australia, hurry to grab it before it's gone

While Amazon Prime Day may have wrapped up, Dyson has extended the savings with massive discounts on two of its most sought-after purifying fan models. The show-stopping deal, a whopping 61 per cent off the Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan, slashing the price from $949 to just $370.41. But that's not all. The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Purifying Fan Heater is also getting the discount treatment, 25 per cent off, now just $599, down from $799. Whether you're prepping for warmer days or fighting off the winter chill, these two models deliver year-round comfort with Dyson's trademark air-purifying tech. Dyson is renowned for its cutting-edge appliances, and its fans are no exception. 1. Dyson Purifier Cool™ Purifying Fan (White/Silver) was $949, now $370.41 The Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan doesn't just cool you down; it intelligently monitors air quality in real time using built-in sensors and displays results live on the LCD screen or the MyDyson app. That means you can see exactly how clean the air in your home is, right down to the molecular level. Thanks to Dyson's Air Multiplier technology, this purifier can project clean, purified air across an entire room, not just the area right in front of it. It's engineered with a fully sealed HEPA H13 filter system that traps 99.95 per cent of particles as small as 0.1 microns, including allergens, dust, and even some gases and odours. It's Sensitive Choice approved, acoustically engineered to run 20 per cent quieter than previous models, and has a night mode for undisturbed sleep. It even offers a backward airflow mode to purify the air without the cooling effect during colder days. 2. Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ Purifying Fan Heater was $799, now $599 On the other hand, the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool is the ultimate all-rounder for every Aussie home. Acting as a heater, cooling fan, and air purifier in one, it's ideal for households that need powerful climate control without the bulk of three separate machines. Also tested for its efficiency in rooms up to 81 square metres, the Hot+Cool model uses the same HEPA filtration system and Air Multiplier technology. Its intelligent sensors automatically detect and respond to air quality changes, giving you peace of mind and cleaner, healthier air all year round. Both models come with a sleek remote that's magnetised to neatly store on top of the machine, so you'll never misplace it. With over 10,000 recent orders and a 93 per cent positive rating, it's clear that Aussie shoppers trust Dyson.

I'm a professional baker — 10 kitchen tools I've tried and would re-buy (so many are on sale right now)

In my friend group, I'm definitely the personality hire, except when it comes to cooking advice. After a decade of working on food trucks and in bakeries (even opening my own in 2015), I've become the go-to person to ask, 'Why did my cookies go flat?' or 'What should I make for Easter dinner?' Cooking and baking professionally, combined with years of trial and error as a home cook, means I've tested (and tossed) a lot of kitchen equipment in my life. Over the years, I've formed very strong opinions about what to splurge on and what to skip altogether when it comes to outfitting your kitchen. I've cooked up a list of my favourite kitchen appliances, utensils, and accessories that have proven to be ride-or-die for the everyday home chef. My favourites range from investment pieces like a Staub Dutch Oven to a set of silicon baking mats that are under $15. And the best part? So many items are still on sale after Amazon Prime Day 2025. Keep scrolling for the best Amazon kitchen deals. Related post-Prime Day articles: 60 best extended Amazon Prime Day deals you can still shop in Canada — Apple, Nespresso, Dyson and more 20 of the most popular deals Yahoo Canada readers bought during Amazon Prime Day 2025 Amazon Prime Day is over, but this 'lifesaver' power bar is still on sale for $16 I can't be the only little girl who dreamed of owning an entire line-up of Dutch ovens, all matching in the same bold colour. When it finally came time to invest in one of my own, the research was all pointing to one brand: Staub. I opted for their 5.5-qt Round Cocotte, realizing very quickly it's the only Dutch oven I will ever need to own. Made in France, these hefty pots are built to last, transferring seamlessly from stovetop cooking to oven braising. Trust me: It's more than worth the investment. This may be surprising, but this set of mini spatulas is my most-used item in my kitchen. I actually have two sets because they're just that good. These spatulas are perfect for everything from getting the last little morsels out of a jar of honey to cooking scrambled eggs. I find myself reaching for one multiple times a day. This set has the lowest cost per use of any tool in my entire kitchen. As a professional baker, an accurate food scale can be the difference between an airy loaf of sourdough and an inedible brick of flour. I recently switched to the Oxo Good Grips Food Scale, and it has upped my baking game tenfold. The unique feature of this scale is the pull-out display, making it easy to see no matter the size of the bowl you choose. This scale's utility goes way beyond a dynamite focaccia dough — perfectly portioning bulk groceries and divving up this week's prepped meals. Please accept this as my formal declaration of love for hand blenders. Do I have a traditional blender and also a food processor? Yes. Do I reach for either of those even half as much as I reach for my KitchenAid Hand Blender? Not even close. Soups, sauces, jams, compound butters — do I need to go on? I still have the exact KitchenAid Hand Blender I opened my bakery with ten years ago, and it hasn't skipped a beat. You often hear chefs say that the one tool you need in your kitchen is a high-quality knife—this fact became very clear when I finally bought one for myself. I've become a huge fan of the entire catalogue of Global Knives since purchasing my first one a few years ago, but even with a drawer full of knives I'm always reaching for the GS90 Santoku Knife. The super sharp fluted blade makes chopping vegetables less of a chore, and the lightweight handle fits perfectly in my small hands. There are dozens of digital thermometers on the market these days, ranging in price from $10 to more than $100. You may be shocked to find that the thermometer I've trusted for over five years is one of the most inexpensive on the market. I use the Thermo Digital Thermometer for everything from checking whether my roast chicken is cooked through to making sure boiled sugar is hot enough to turn into marshmallows. It's compact and easy to read, and I can't even remember the last time I needed to change the batteries—sometimes, simplicity is best when it comes to cooking. Getting to feed delicious things to the people I love is a big part of why I enjoy cooking. After years of entertaining, I recently found a new favourite hosting hack: Pacolit P's Warming Mat. The pressure of making sure everything on the Thanksgiving table is ready at the same time has finally been lifted. This mat has three temperature settings to keep the mashed potatoes from cooling while you're carving the turkey. I'm never hosting another dinner party without it. A bench scraper is a non-negotiable tool in any kitchen I cook in. I first learned how handy they can be working in professional bakeries, and it turns out they're just as useful in my home kitchen. Dividing pizza dough, scrapping flour off counters, and scooping up chopped onions — this may be the most versatile tool in my kitchen that's under $20! The Anaeat scraper has the added benefit of measuring guides, making it the perfect gift for amateur bakers. It doesn't take a professional baker to know that KitchenAid Stand Mixers don't always do the greatest job of incorporating everything in the bowl. I've owned five of their mixers, and the one thing that consistently improves every batter and dough is the Flex Edge Beater. The added silicone covering drastically reduces the number of times I find myself scraping down the bowl with a spatula, often allowing me to skip that frustrating step altogether. Whether in my home kitchen or a professional bakery, I always find that most of my waste is parchment paper. Silicone baking mats not only reduce my use of parchment paper, but they also save my pans from the wear and tear of stuck-on food. Pro tip: If you've ever pulled out your hair trying to master a French macaron, a silicone mat may be the missing piece. 38% off: Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Electric Egg Cooker | Shop for $18 $29 Take 38% off an ecozy Countertop Ice Maker | Shop for $99 $160 30% off a Philips Series 3300 Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine | Shop for $700 $1,000 Take 48% off a Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ Deluxe Coffee Machine | Shop for $99 $18 Save 19% on a CyberChill Slushie Machine | Shop for $243 $300 Save 77% on a Canoly Masticating Juicer | Shop for $149 $640 52% off: HOSHANHO Kitchen Knife | Shop for $38 $80 Take 38% off a Keurig K-Supreme Plus K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker | Shop for $130 $209 31% off: KitchenAid Digital Air Fryer Countertop Oven | Shop for $200 $288
