EGX closes Monday's session in green zone
Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday's trading session on a positive note, with the EGX30 increasing by 0.50% to 32,015.02 points. The Sharia-compliant index, EGX33 Shariah index, went up by 0.13% to 3,294.88 points. Both the EGX70 index as well as the EGX100 index closed the session higher by 0.36% at 9,320.23 points and by 0.38% at 12,750.9 points, respectively. EGX's turnover hit EGP 4.315 billion through the exchange of 1.524 billion shares over 101,397 transactions, while market capitalization reached EGP 2.270 trillion. Individuals controlled 74.01% of the total trading, while institutions represented 25.98%. Egyptian investors equaled 87.5% of trading transactions, whereas Arab and foreign traders made up 7.31% and 5.19%, respectively. Both Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 256.758 million and EGP 39.286 million, respectively. Egypt: EGX shows mixed performance on Thursday
Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a varied performance on Thursday, with the EGX30 rising by 0.10% at 31,062.95 points. Meanwhile, the Sharia-compliant index, EGX33 Shariah index, declined by 0.03% to 3,224.85 points. The EGX70 index as well as the EGX100 index ended the session higher by 0.76% at 9,036.88 points and by 0.44% at 12,367.83 points, respectively. The turnover hit EGP 3.102 billion through the exchange of 1.239 billion shares over 92,195 transactions, while the market capitalization stood at EGP 2.203 trillion. Retail investors made up 79.91% of the total trading, while the institutions equaled 20.08%. Egyptian investors took over 87.94% of trading transactions, whereas Arab and foreign traders represented 8.46% and 3.59%, respectively. Foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 34.935 million and EGP 7.595 million, respectively. Egypt: EGX shows positive performance on Thursday
Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday's trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 rose by 2.43% to 30,810.7 points. Likewise, the Sharia-compliant index, EGX33 Shariah index, went up by 1.87% to 3,185.29 points. Both the EGX70 index and the EGX100 index ended the session higher by 2.70% at 8,777.71 points and by 2.57% at 12,091.36 points, respectively. EGX's turnover amounted to EGP 4.464 billion through the exchange of 1.957 billion shares over 101,248 transactions, whereas the market capitalization reached EGP 2.176 trillion. Individuals took over 69.48% of the total trading, while the institutions represented 30.51%. EGX ends Wednesday's session in red zone
Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session lower, with the EGX30 falling by 1.86% at 30,079.93 points. The Sharia-compliant index, EGX33 Shariah index, also retreated by 2.39% to 3,126.75 points. Both the EGX70 index and the EGX100 index went down by 3.65% to 8,547.3 points and by 3.28% to 11,788.65 points, respectively. Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a positive performance on Sunday, with the EGX30 index ending the trading session higher by 0.81% at 31,933.76 points.
