Ciara took to her Instagram on Wednesday, June 4, to announce the iconic remix with a teaser video showing a spotlight on a chair featuring baseball caps from Normani and Teyana Taylor's hometown 'Guess who's coming to the Chair!:)…ECSTASY REMIX 6/6!!' she captioned the post.
The 'Ecstasy' remix is followed by the original version, which was released in April. It is also a single from Ciara's upcoming self-titled album 'CiCi', which is set to drop on July 11.
The album 'CiCi' is an extension of her 2023 EP of the same name, featuring all six tracks from the mini-project, including hits like 'How We Roll' with Chris Brown and 'Forever' with Lil Baby.
This will be Ciara's eighth studio album, which took five years to build. It follows her seventh studio album 'Beauty Marks', which was dropped in 2019.
She announced the album on May 4, and according to Ciara, the album is her 'love letter' to her fans, whom she affectionately calls her 'Day 1s and Day 21s'.
In her announcement post, Ciara expressed her gratitude to her fans, saying, 'You've stuck by me through every era, every evolution, and every independent leap of faith.'
The singer described the album as a celebration of her journey and a thank you to her fans for their unwavering support.
Additionally, the 'How We Roll' hitmaker was honoured earlier this week with the Avant Garde Award at the inaugural Black Women in Music Dinner and the award was presented to her by none other than Normani.
