Emmanuel Acho breaks silence as Fox Sports show is shockingly cut along with Joy Taylor
Emmanuel Acho issued a stark message after his Fox Sports show was axed by the network as part of a brutal shakeup. Fox Sports is reportedly set to cut three shows, including 'The Facility,' the talk show Acho co-hosts alongside fellow former NFL players Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy. In addition to 'The Facility,' the networks is also getting rid of 'Breakfast Ball' and 'Speak,' which features host Joy Taylor. The facility only made its on-air debut last September, filling the void left by Skip Bayless and his 'Undisputed' show. And Acho didn't mine his words as he frankly spoke out in the aftermath of Fox's cancellations. 'In sports, when you're not good enough, you get cut,' the former NFL star shared to X. 'In TV, when you're not good enough, you get cancelled. 'I'm not going to try and come to y'all with some "Big announcements soon. Stay tuned" because I don't actually know what's coming. But what I do know is I trust God.' In addition to Acho, Taylor fell victim to the cuts. Acho also previously co-hosted 'Speak' before joining 'The Facility', leaving Taylor to take over the lead hosting duties on the latter. The news of their exits come months after Taylor was accused of using sexual relationships with the former linebacker and network executive Charlie Dixon to further her career. The shock allegations stemmed from a bombshell suit, which was filed on behalf of hair stylist and former Fox employee Noushin Faraji, which named Taylor, Dixon, former FS1 host Skip Bayless and the Fox Corporation. Taylor, 38, was alleged to have told make-up artist Faraji to 'get over it' when she confided in her about claims she was sexually assaulted by top programming executive Dixon. Taylor denied the allegation. Back in January, Taylor was also alleged to have used 'her sexuality to get on a show' when she sought a spot on Acho's program 'Speak'. She denied 'each and every allegation against her', with lawyers branding the lawsuit 'a transparent attempt to improperly leverage media attention and public perception to extract financial gain.' Two weeks ago Taylor finally spoke out about the lawsuit that embroiled several Fox Sports stars in scandal, claiming the allegations left her battling 'dark times', 'grief' and 'trauma'. Much of the lawsuit focused on allegations of sexual harassment, sexual battery, negligent supervision, retaliation and other hostile workplace issues between 2012 and August of 2024. Bayless was accused of offering $1.5million to Faraji for sex, while Dixon was accused of groping the stylist's buttocks. Back in April, reports claimed Fox Sports executive Dixon had lost his job after being accused of sexual battery in two separate lawsuits. He was also accused in another case of pinning former Fox Sports host Julie Stewart-Binks against a wall and forcibly kissing her during a 2016 meeting in a hotel room. Dixon denied that claim. Bayless also denied the allegations against him, while Fox Sports asked for the case to be dismissed 'in its entirety.'

Former NFL star is diagnosed with rare form of cancer as football legend makes huge donation for treatment
The NFL world is rallying around former star Bryan Braman after it was revealed that he's been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Braman, 38, was signed by the Houston Texans as a free agent in 2011, before spending seven years in the NFL and later retiring with the Philadelphia Eagles. It was during his time with the Eagles - in 2017 - when Braman reached the Super Bowl and helped the side defeat the New England Patriots 41-33 on the night. Now, however, things are very different for the former defensive end after it was revealed that he's 'undergoing a Car-t cell reprogramming treatment program in Seattle'. Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho took to X on Thursday to reveal the news and plead for donations from Eagles and NFL fans alike. He wrote: 'I'm sad it's taken me so long to see this. @Eagles fans, we need you to be teammates right now. 'My teammate & SB Champ, Bryan Braman is battling an extremely rare cancer He laid his body on the line for Philly, & now he needs Philly to survive'. Acho also provided a link to the GoFundMe which has been set up for Braman. A total of $46,495 has been raised already, at the time of writing. Among the donators is three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt, who contributed a stunning $10,000 to the fund. The description for Braman's GoFundMe reads: 'Bryan is home with his family after undergoing a Car-t cell reprogramming treatment program in Seattle. 'With the cancer that Bryan has, which is a VERY rare form of cancer, the Car-t treatment had the highest chance of success as the cells are reprogrammed to fight this cancer that is within Bryan. 'Bryan has had to undergo several surgical procedures. The main problem has been that Bryan has not been able to recover from the procedures because of his lowered immunity due to all of these treatments. 'The Dr's are now concerned because of his treatment, his chemo options are very limited. They have tried all of the various treatment options, and unfortunately, none of them are working against this cancer. 'But Bryan has not given up. He is looking into other trial treatment programs, and is determined to never give up'. Further details, provided by organizer William Jones, read: 'I am trying to raise $15,000 to pay for housing for him, his caregiver, and his uncle as they all live together. 'He is also in need of food or meal cards. Restaurant gift cards would be great in addition to any cash donations anyone can afford to help with'.
