'I tried Erborian's new milky serum, it gave me plumper, glowier skin overnight'

Erborian's new milky serum promises glass-like skin overnight, and after just one use, I saw glow, hydration, and a noticeably plumper complexion Milky toners are a bit of a buzzword right now in the beauty world, but in my opinion, the ones I've tried actually live up to their hype. From BYOMA's Hydrating Milky Toner, £11.99, to Curel's Moisture Facial Milk and Beauty of Joseon's Glow Replenishing Rice Milk, I've trialled my fair share. And now K-Beauty brand Erborian has just launched its new Skin-Therapy Milky Serum. A biphase milky texture thats ideal for us who have normal to oily skin. I was intrigued by this as its a serum rather than a toner, and on the fact that it promises to target seven areas of the skin with just one tiny bottle. I'm not a massive fan of layering hundreds of different products on my face, so having a one-and-done product really appeals to me. Packed full with 17 powerhouse ingredients, including glow-giving Yuzu, soothing Centella Asiatica, and Ginseng, this milky serum is ideal for those with oiler skin or those who prefer a barely-there feel. Plus, it's got skin-plumping Hyaluronic Acid and 10% PHA to gently exfoliate, clear pores and smooth texture, along with Allantoin to calm any redness. Erborian Skin-Therapy Milky Serum review I'm already a huge fan of Erborian. The CC Red Correct with Centella Asiatica is my current go-to base product and one of my favourite ever skin tints. While the Super BB Concealer also has a spot in my everyday make-up bag. So I was very excited to test out this new launch. Firstly, I love the packaging, the glass bottle makes the serum feel really premium and the pipette makes the product so easy to use (makes sure to shake well before use as its a biphase texture). Secondly, I really enjoy the consistency, it feels oiler than serums I've tried in the past, but this makes the product glide so smoothly onto the skin and leaves the skin with that immediate radiance. The serum claims to have visible results after the first night, and I was pretty skeptical about this as I find a lot of brands claim that without actually having any instant results. But after using this serum for one night, I found that my skin felt hydrated, plumper and looked visibly glowy (in a trendy glass skin way, not a sweaty way). My sister even commented that my skin looked so bright and awake on our 7am morning walk. Because of the 10% PHA content, Erborian recommend using this as a night-time-only treatment, ideally on its own (though a moisturiser on top is fine). As I mentined above, that's ideal for me, I don't love layering lots of products, especially when I'm short on time before bed. I've struggled to find anything wrong with this product so far, I do have oilier skin so this product works perfectly for my skin your skin is on the drier side though, you might find it not quite hydrating enough. In that case, I'd suggest trying the Skin Therapy Oil Serum from the same range. It has a richer, oil-based texture that's better suited for dry or very dry skin. It is on the pricier side at £45, but considering how many areas it targets and the fact it eliminates using lots of other serums or toners, I think the price is justified.

Louise McSharry: Here are my top three skin tints for flawless, more natural coverage

Of course, there are no hard and fast rules around these things, and if you're someone who always wants their skin to look like skin, and doesn't want to wear heavy make-up, a skin tint might suit you all year round. With so many of them on the market, though, how do you figure out which one to choose? And how do you apply them? Applying a skin tint is easy — you can use any combination of fingers, brushes or sponges, depending on your preference. Personally, I find the warmth of the fingers helps complexion products to melt into the skin, which is important when a natural finish is what you seek to achieve. If you have blemishes to cover, you may find it's easier to conceal them first, before applying your skin tint. Just make sure you blend the products well, and don't use too much product. A gentle tapping motion should ensure a natural finish. If you have areas which require more coverage, you can absolutely use a concealer to deliver that. Light layers will always last longer and deliver a more natural finish, but will still allow you to get a flawless look without ever looking like you're wearing loads of make-up. As for which one to choose, here are some of the best options around if you want to even your complexion but achieve a truly natural, skin-like finish. You may not be familiar with the brands, but trust me, they're worth a try. Erborian CC Crème (€44 via — This Korean brand might be unfamiliar to you, but it is worth getting to know if only for its complexion products. This CC cream adjusts to the skin tone and immediately evens it out, leaving the skin looking healthy and hydrated. It also contains skincare ingredients and SPF, although I would certainly use an additional layer of SPF before application. If you want a super-natural skin-like finish you can apply without any faff, this could be the one for you. The only downside is a relatively limited shade range which may be too dark for the lightest complexions and too light for the darkest. Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint (€45 via — Staying in the very sheer and natural family, Lisa Eldridge's Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint is a silky, lightweight dream. It blends easily and melts into the skin, leaving you with a beautiful satin finish, and comes in a much wider shade range than the Erborian products, so all bases should be covered. Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint (€47.46 via — This is a gorgeous product which delivers a layer of sheer colour, blurring pores and diminishing redness, leaving you with beautifully even, natural-looking skin. Despite containing hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalane, this product works really well on oily skin and wears well throughout the day. Buying Irish Ealu is an Irish brand founded just a year ago by beauty entrepreneurs Carly Colgan Bates and Susan Fox. The range is small for now, with just four products available. Cleanse, Sand, Drench and Gloss are body products designed to cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise and shine the body, and each is packaged beautifully in elegant peach packaging. I am particularly drawn to Gloss (€38 via a 'shimmering body oil', but unlike most oils, this formula is thick enough to prevent it from dripping everywhere, allowing you to apply shimmer with precision and without mess. Perfect for nights out, or a post-pool glow, it's a great product. Something old… Every year at around this time, I buy a Clarins Invisible Sun Care Stick (€29 via This stick offers broad spectrum (that's UVA and UVB) SPF 50 protection, and when things get warm, I want one with me. I love its texture, which leaves the face glowing and hydrated via vitamin E and aloe vera without feeling sticky or greasy. Mainly, though, I love the format. I love that you can stick this in your pocket or in your handbag and you don't need to worry about it taking up loads of space or spilling, you simply have access to sun protection whenever you want it. I use it on myself, share it with friends, and have often lashed it all over my children's body when I've been stuck. In fact, there was one summer where I had to fight my youngest to use any other sun cream. It's just a great product, which delivers on protection, experience and practicality. ... Something new Bahama Skin is the youth-friendly skincare brand from the team behind Sosu Cosmetics. It's worth noting if you're the parent of a skincare-obsessed tween as its brightly coloured packaging is very on trend but the formulas don't contain the kind of actives young skin should avoid. Today, though, I want to talk about the brand's Skin Glow Sun Stick SPF 50 (€19.95 via This formula was designed with sensitive skin in mind so it works on all skin types, and is incredibly handy for on-the-go application. If you're someone who hikes, bikes, trikes or similar, you can pop it in your bag or pocket and lash it on as you move. Convenience is king, and this product is incredibly convenient.

I've swapped my full-coverage foundation for CC cream this spring after trying award-winning brand - now I don't think I'll ever go back!

When the 'clean girl' aesthetic shot to popularity in early 2022, I longed for the airbrushed, 'your skin but better' look that I saw all over TikTok - but with a face full of pigmentation and acne scars, it seemed like something I'd never to be able to achieve. That was until I met the Erborian CC Cream. Winner of beauty awards, the multitasking product has built itself a loyal fanbase, with one sold every 20 seconds worldwide. Erborian CC Cream, 45ml A makeup must-have for the spring and summer months, this clever, colour-adapting CC cream contains encapsulated pigments that adapt to skin tones for a flawless, traceless look. Acting as a hybrid between skincare and makeup, the CC Cream has been infused with potent ingredients such as Centella Asiatica, adenosine and Vitamin B3 to support the skin barrier, boost hydration and tackle pigmentation. £38 Shop Acting as a hybrid between skincare and makeup, the CC cream combines all the properties of your favourite moisturiser with the blurring effects of a foundation for a flawless base - and customers are as obsessed with the results. 'I haven't worn foundation or any face makeup in four years as I just never liked the feeling of it and always felt it looked too much or too cakey,' wrote one user. 'I've recently developed acne and wanted something to hide the redness, without looking like I'm trying too hard. This CC cream is the best makeup product I've ever used! Although it's very light coverage, it evens out my skin really well and makes the acne slightly less noticeable, and is great for layering concealer over if more coverage is needed'. 'My absolute favourite skin product,' added a second customer. 'Perfect for clean, everyday makeup. Nicely evens out the skin and matches my skin tone perfectly. After using it, my skin looks like mine but better! This is my second CC cream from the brand and I'll defo repurchase again'. Dermatologically-tested and non-comedogenic, the CC cream boasts broad-spectrum SPF25 protection against harmful UV rays - which makes it a must-have for your summer makeup bag (though we hope you're already wearing SPF). As a Korean skincare brand, Erborian's vast product range prioritizes skin health - and this award-winning formula is no different. The potent formula has been enriched with a host of anti-ageing and nourishing ingredients, such as Centella Asiatica, which can help boost collagen production and improve hydration and elasticity. The addition of adenosine and Vitamin B3 help to address unevenness and skin barrier health - particularly important for those who might currently be using retinal or other active ingredients as part of their skincare routine. On first appearance, the cream appears white in colour, though when blended out instantly blends into your skin tone and leaves behind a dewy, natural looking glow without settling into fine lines. Available in two shades, Clair, which is best for lighter skin tones, and Dore, which is best suited to darker skin, the formula contains clever encapsulated pigments that seamlessly adapts to your skin tone, leaving a traceless finish behind. For the best results, the brand recommends applying a thin layer to your face, just like you would with your normal moisturiser, for a seamless 'no makeup makeup look'. But what did I think? As someone who normally reaches for the highest-coverage foundation I can find (Estee Lauder Double Wear, I'm looking at you), I've always been let down by other CC and BB creams and have found that they have offered little to no coverage at all. Erborian's CC cream has recently gone viral on TikTok, thanks in part to a video by influencer Mikayla Nogueira, which racked up an impressive 477.9k likes (and convinced me to test the product out for myself). After dealing with a flurry of hormonal breakouts over the past few months, I've been left with stubborn PIE marks and hyperpigmentation that while treating with skincare, can only be covered by my beloved full coverage foundation. Would this really work as well as what I've seen online? I started by applying my morning skincare as usual and applying the CC cream onto my skin with my hands - which would be my recommended tool for this over a brush or beauty blender. Upon first inspection, I was quite worried that the white formula would make me look ashy, or leave a white cast behind - but to my surprise, it blended seamlessly into my skin. After working it into my complexion with my fingers and buffing out slightly with my trusty beauty blender, I was shocked by how seamless the product was - it was a perfect match to my skin tone (and can confirm this has been the case with and without fake tan on). My pigmentation issues were instantly covered up, and the CC cream was virtually undetectable - it really did give a 'my skin but better' finish, and as someone with a long list of skin concerns, I was very happy with the level of coverage it provided. Of course, I did have to go over certain areas and blemishes with my favourite concealer, but the finished result looked so much more natural than my usual routine - and lasted well throughout the day, too, with minimal touchups and a light veil of setting powder at lunchtime. My verdict? I'm obsessed - and I never thought I would have made a CC cream a permanent addition to my makeup bag. For someone who is perhaps looking for a slightly lighter foundation for the spring and summer months, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat - and I'll definitely be ordering my second tube in time for my next holiday. Result!

Keep an eye on this guide as I'll be updating it as more deals roll in, so you won't miss out on a single cosmetics steal. With more than five years of experience in the industry, I've seen my fair share of Amazon sales events. I'm familiar with which beauty brands offer the best annual deals and – more importantly – which ones might offer falsely inflated discounts. Like the rest of the team at IndyBest, I handpick the best beauty reductions based on our myriad reviews and ensure that every deal offers a worthwhile saving. The CeraVe hydrating cleanser is a cult favourite praised for its ability to cleanse without stripping the skin. In her round-up of the b est CeraVe products, beauty editor Lucy Partington not only dubbed it her favourite product but described it as 'universally loved' and 'a true hero of the CeraVe range.' She noted that it works to remove makeup and cleanse quickly. The mix of ceramides and hyaluronic acid leaves the skin soft and hydrated, too. Now reduced by 30 per cent, this skincare essential is a must-have for anyone looking for a gentle and hydrating start to the day. Maybelline's lash sensational sky high mascara is a viral sensation, and assistant IndyBest editor Sarah Jones is a huge fan. In her review, she noted: 'One coat of the mascara made an instant difference to the length of my lashes,' and highlighted its ability to provide dramatic length and lift. The formula, enriched with bamboo extract and fibres, ensures a lightweight, non-clumpy finish, while the flexible wand helps coat each lash, even in hard-to-reach areas. Ideal for both one-coat and layered voluminous finishes, this tubing mascara is a must-try, especially with nearly 40 per cent off right now. Looking for the perfect hair dryer? The Remington one dry and style hair dryer is a standout choice, earning the top spot in the best hair dryers guide. Hair aficionado Nicole Ocran praised the model for its versatility, noting its four attachments for everything from flyaway taming to curl-defining. She said, 'It has something for everyone, making it ideal for households with different hair types.' Right now, it's reduced by more than £30, making it an even better value pick. With its practical features and impressive performance, it's a great all-rounder for anyone looking to elevate their styling routine. The Philips satinelle essential epilator delivers impressive performance for its small £25 price and, in her review, beauty writer Louise Whitbread praised it for being 'slim, lightweight, and comfortable to hold, making it ideal for underarms'. With two speed settings, it offers powerful hair removal that leaves skin smooth without causing ingrown hairs. And, while it can be slightly painful at first, it's manageable with regular use. Now reduced by 26 per cent, it's a fantastic budget-friendly option for anyone looking for a long-lasting, stubble-free finish. La Roche-Posay's cicaplast B5 serum is a game-changer for irritated skin. In her review, beauty editor Lucy Partington said that it 'worked well to soothe and nourish [her] skin, ridding it of that telltale tightness.' The serum combines 10 per cent vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier without leaving a greasy finish. Lucy appreciated its lightweight texture, noting that it absorbed quickly, leaving skin nourished and comfortable. It also layers well with other products, making it a top pick for anyone with sensitive or dry skin. Right now, it's reduced by 20 per cent – an even more lucrative addition to your skincare routine, if you ask me. Ideal for oily or greasy hair, this shampoo leaves no residue, helping to eliminate build-up and provide a fresh start for your scalp. In her Color Wow review, haircare expert Ellis found that it gives you 'a blank slate" to start your haircare routine. It's sulfate-free, so it's gentle on sensitive skin, and it lathers beautifully, leaving your scalp and roots feeling thoroughly clean and refreshed. It also helps prevent colour fade on colour-treated hair for up to 30 washes. Now discounted by 29 per cent, it's a great way to refresh and maintain your hair's health. Erborian's cult BB cream took the top spot in our guide to the best BB creams, and it's easy to see why. Make-up maestro Lauren Cunningham loved its "non-cakey full coverage", calling it a great alternative to foundation. Packed with white ginseng and fermented ginseng flower, it hydrates the skin while niacinamide works to tackle blemishes and blackheads. As Lauren put it: "It's a product that conceals, but also actively benefits your skin." With long-lasting wear and impressive results, this BB cream is now available for £33.60 – down 30 per cent courtesy of Amazon. Elemis' pro-collagen gel eye masks offer a refreshing boost of hydration while tackling fine lines and wrinkles. They feature a powerful blend of hyaluronic acid, chlorella, and padina pavonica to nourish and promote collagen production. In her guide to the best eye patches, our reviewer Helen said 'After use, our tired skin looked and felt as if it had gained welcome moisture.' The patches sit comfortably under the eyes, stay in place without sliding and leave no excess product behind. A six-pack of individually wrapped masks makes them a convenient option for hydration on the go and they're currently reduced, making now an even better time to try them. I was impressed by Cosrx's snail mucin essence in my review of the best Korean skincare products. It sounds a little gross, but my tests found that the snail mucin was incredibly soothing. The texture is smooth and slippery – a little goes a long way – and it left my skin feeling youthful and bouncy. It also works as an antioxidant, helping to protect the skin and minimise fine lines. Now, with more than half off, it's a must-have for spring-summer hydration. In her guide to the best anti-ageing day creams, Sabine – a mature skin expert – found Elizabeth Arden's retinol + HPR ceramide water cream to be ideal for daytime use. She noted how she was 'surprised to see real results after just seven days, with [her] skin feeling smoother and looking brighter.' This advanced formula combines the power of HPR, a gentler yet highly effective retinoid, with peptides, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and bisabolol (a soothing ingredient from chamomile). The lightweight texture absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and hydrated. With nearly half off, it's the perfect opportunity to experience its transformative effects for yourself - just remember to combine it with SPF for the best results. The Bioré aqua rich sunscreen is a standout choice for anyone who dislikes heavy sunscreens or struggles with acne. In her guide to the best face SPFs, skincare expert Lauren praised its ultra-light texture, saying: 'It feels like water on the skin, absorbing instantly without any sticky or greasy residue.' Part of popular Japanese beauty brand Bioré, it combines hyaluronic acid and glycerin to provide hydration without clogging pores. Plus, with a fresh citrus scent and quick absorption, it sits perfectly under makeup, too. Now reduced by 33 per cent, this Japanese gem is an excellent choice for anyone seeking lightweight, effective sun protection. Ghd's unplugged straighteners offer professional results wherever you go. In her review, assistant IndyBest editor Sarah explained: "The convenience of a cordless straightener without sacrificing performance is a game-changer." Launched in 2021, this sleek, portable styler boasts the same dual-zone heater technology found in other Ghd tools, ensuring a consistent styling temperature of 185C. Whether you're straightening or curling, it delivers flawless results, and with a 20-minute battery life, it's perfect for quick styling sessions. Plus, with USB-C charging, you can easily power up from your laptop or car – making it the ultimate travel companion. Kérastase's elixir ultime hair oil has earned a devoted following, and for good reason. In fact, beauty writer Lauren found that this is the best hair oil on the market in her guide to the best hair oils. Packed with hair-loving ingredients like amla extract, camellia, and argan oil, it strengthens hair, promotes growth, and helps prevent premature greying. The oil also provides heat protection up to 230C, smooths frizz, seals split ends and enhances shine. Perfect for both damp hair as a primer or dry hair for a finishing touch, the elixir ultime is reduced by 28 per cent right now (was £58, now £41.62, with the refill offering an even better deal at 30 per cent off.
