Cam Ward was a pudgy, zero-star QB. Now he's the likely No. 1 pick.
Before the final game he played at Incarnate Word, back when only he knew how far his right arm could take him, Cam Ward approached coach Eric Morris. They were preparing for a playoff game against Sam Houston State, annually one of the best defenses in the Football Championship Subdivision. 'If you let me throw it 60 times,' Ward told Morris, 'we'll win this game.'
