Now, SABC Sport are reporting that they'll be boosted by the return of Saleng to the club for the upcoming season. 'SABC Sport has established that Orlando Pirates are in advanced discussions to loan out winger Monnapule Saleng to their Betway Premiership rivals,' the publication reported. 'According to information gathered through sources in Bloemhof, where Saleng hails from in the North West, a reunion with his former employers is on the cards.' According to the latest transfer reports, 26-year-old Stellenbosch and Bafana Bafana defender Thabo Moloisane is closing in on a move to Soweto. Moloisane has been a top performer for Stellenbosch over the past two seasons. 'Orlando Pirates are apparently looking at bringing in Thabo Moloisane to strengthen and bolster the squad and have a well-balanced squad as the club are building a strong squad to compete in all the tournaments this season including fighting for the league title,' an insider told Soccer Laduma . A second source told the same publication that Pirates have already opened talks with Stellenbosch! Moloisane made 26 league appearances for Stellenbosch last season. On top of that, he made 14 CAF Confederations Cup appearances on the continent for them. Lastly, he made six domestic cup competition appearances for Steve Barker's side. The towering centre-back is currently valued at approximately R20 million as per Transfermarkt . Orlando Pirates have reportedly opted against extending the contract of one of their talented midfielders. The Buccaneers are ringing the changes ahead of next season. Pirates have struggled to compete with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership over the past few seasons. Ndlondlo joined the club back in 2022, and has was a key player under Jose Riveiro up until last season. It was last season where the diminutive midfielder fell out of favour at Orlando Pirates. In total, he made 65 appearances for the club, scoring three goals while assisting three more. 'Orlando Pirates have parted ways with midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo. This publication has been reliably informed that Pirates decided against renewing Ndlondlo's contract after it expired on 30 June,' an IDiski Times report read.
