The Sims 4 Promotes Enchanting Expansion With FKA twigs' Perfect Stranger Music Video
The Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 has unleashed an FKA twigs Perfect Stranger music video in Simlish to mark the occasion. The newest expansion pack for The Sims 4, takes players through an enchanted world known as Innisgreen, a setting so enchanting that the expansion pack is called Enchanted by Nature. With it having been weeks since the expansion launched, fans have given the new content a 'Mixed' reception on Steam. Nearly all fan reviewers noted how enchanting the setting is, but some have also noted how flawed the execution was on launch, making the newly introduced traits appear to be a micromanagement nightmare. To steady the turbulence, EA has launched a new FKA twigs music video, Perfect Strangers, to promote the expansion. The music video can be seen below, and it features well-known artist FKA twigs in full Sim getup from The Sims 4, singing in full Simlish. On top of the music video, a The Sims 4 creator has also rolled out the FKA twigs Sim for fans to move into their neighbourhoods. In the music video, FKA twigs plays a matchmaker to Perfect Strangers, uniting five couples in the enchanted Innisgreen world, and now fans can live next to her in Innisgreen! EA has included a link to a prominent The Sims 4 creator's version of FKA twigs as a way to include her in your neighbourhood. Crafted by community member Maxis, fans have commented on the new artist-based Sim, pleased with how close the real thing looks when compared to the artist in the music video. The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature expansion pack is out now, and fans can check in on all the action by heading to the official site. You can now apply to join Nintendo's next Switch Online playtest. The playtest, which will be a test of the 'same service' as the one in October, will accept up to 40,000 on a first-come, first-served basis. You can apply here, though you'll need to have been a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber as of last Thursday as 6PM ET to be eligible.

Late last year, Nintendo hosted a mysterious Switch Online playtest, and on Thursday, the company announced that it would be doing another test as part of the 'Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program' and that it will be opening applications soon. This second round will be a test of the 'same service' as before. Last time, Nintendo asked participants not to share details about the playtest, but leaks appeared anyway indicating that the test was for some kind of MMO-style game. Applications for this next playtest will be open to users 18 or older with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack as of Thursday at 6PM ET and with a Nintendo Account registered in Japan, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Brazil, or Mexico. Users can apply as individuals or as a group of up to four people 'if everyone in the group meets the Application Qualifications,' according to Nintendo. You can prepare your application on Nintendo's website from Friday, July 18th at 6PM ET to Monday, July 21st at 10:59AM ET. You can actually submit your application from Monday, July 21st at 11AM ET to Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:59AM ET, though Nintendo says applications will be accepted 'on a first-come, first-served basis.' Nintendo expects to accept 'as many as 40,000 participants worldwide,' a big jump from the 10,000 participants allowed for the October test. If you participated in that playtest, you can participate in this next one, too, Nintendo says. The playtest itself will run from Monday, July 28th at 9PM ET to Sunday, August 10th at 8:59PM ET.
