Jennifer Lopez admits to being 'hard on herself'
Jennifer Lopez is "so hard on [herself]". The 55-year-old star has enjoyed huge success as a singer and as an actress, and Jennifer has confessed to being a "perfectionist". She told 'Extra': "I'm so hard on myself. I don't wanna be that way, but I can't help it sometimes." The chart-topping star recently hosted the American Music Awards in Las Vegas, and Jennifer relished the challenge of hosting the show. She said: "I felt it went really, really well. I am such a perfectionist, I always feel like, 'Ah, I could have gotten this little piece or that little piece.' But it was, it was perfect. It was fine." Jennifer has twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony - but she wasn't able to convince them to come to the awards show. The 'Jenny from the Block' hitmaker quipped: "My kids are 17 now, they're twins, and they don't like to hang with mom, and I can't, like, drag them along like I used to. I have like one more year of telling them kind of what to do before they're like, 'Okay.' "I begged them to come with me this weekend and they were like, 'Mom, we're tired. We want to hang out with our friends. Mommy, please,' you know? And I can never say no to them. It's terrible. "I think deep down they're proud of their mom." Meanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed that she feels "proud" of her career. The singer reflected on her career arc ahead of hosting the American Music Awards. She told People: "Everything feels like I just did it. "I remember the moments. I remember getting dressed for them. I remember things people said when we were walking to the stage afterwards. "So it's all these amazing core memories of my life that when you look back on them … I don't know that I get emotional, but I definitely get like, 'Wow.' Happy. I've been doing this and I'm proud of that." Jennifer recently sat down to watch some of her old performances, and she was struck by how much she's developed as an artist. She said: "We were just looking at it to see the progression of the stuff that we've done. "I don't know, it's just a very important part of my musical career and life."

Jason Kelce on Philadelphia Date With Taylor Swift & Travis: ‘It Was Great'
and Travis Kelce broke their months-long hiatus from the spotlight, joining Jason Kelce and their families for a date at Philadelphia's Talula's Garden. Photos from what was supposed to be a private gathering at the Philly restaurant surfaced on TikTok as the star couple celebrated their moms, Andrea Swift and Donna Kelce, along with other close ones at the Mother's Day brunch. Later, on Monday, Jason reportedly dished about their 'special' outing, without naming Swift and Travis, at Amazon's Upfront presentation in New York City. This Mother's Day was truly 'special' for Jason Kelce and all the fans who had hoped to see more Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce outings. Reports and photos of the couple celebrating the occasion with their respective families in a big fat gathering went viral not long ago. This marked Swift and Travis' first outing since they stepped away from the public eye after the Super Bowl 2025. After this, the second Kelce brother shared details from their 'fun' outing without disclosing too much or getting into excessive details. Following a wholesome weekend with loved ones, Jason spoke to Extra about their gathering while attending Amazon's Upfront event. 'Mother's Day was great,' the podcaster told the interviewer before disclosing that their family date was 'fun' as they had 'a lot of people there.' Additionally, the dad of four revealed that his and Kylie Kelce's young kids were present. 'We got four little ones,' he said, referring to their four daughters — Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and the newborn girl, Finnley. Although Jason Kelce didn't address Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's attendance at their family's brunch date in Philadelphia's Talula's Garden, he had a special message for all the moms out there. 'Life is crazy, so to pay homage to all the women that made that possible, it's a pretty special day,' the podcaster remarked. He then said they got Donna a 'nice gift card' along with a cruise trip, keeping in mind her likeness for those. Besides the TikTok with Swift and Travis' photos, Page Six's eyewitness confirmed that the couple were at the celebrations. They reportedly 'flew under the radar' and didn't make private seating arrangements, seemingly allowing bystanders to share their pictures online. Tom Cruise is ‘very serious' about making a Tropic Thunder spin-off, Christopher McQuarrie says
Tom Cruise is having 'very serious conversations' with Christopher McQuarrie about making a Les Grossman 'Tropic Thunder' spin-off movie. The 62-year-old actor portrayed the foul-mouthed producer in Ben Stiller's 2008 satirical action film, and McQuarrie - who has reportedly been attached to the project since 2022 - has said Cruise is determined to continue Les Grossman's story in his own movie. During an appearance on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, the 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' director said: 'The conversations we've had about Les Grossman are so f****** funny. 'We're talking about it, we're having very serious conversations about it, and how best to do it. 'It ultimately comes down to what that character is.' McQuarrie, 56, added he and Cruise used to bounce ideas off each other for the possible flick during the production of 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning'. He said: 'We don't even think about the structure, we play with scenes. Just to be sitting at a breakfast table, not talking about the movie we're making for a minute, is such decompression. 'And just riffing with Tom playing Les Grossman at the table, it was one of the real joys of making this movie. It was all the stuff we were doing, planning the future while slugging out the present.' Talk about a Les Grossman spin-off has been going on for years, with Stiller - who directed and starred in 'Tropic Thunder' as actor Tugg Speedman - previously revealing he had 'discussed' the idea with Cruise. During an interview with Extra, Stiller, 59, said: 'There have been some interchanges about it over the years, yeah. 'Look, Tom Cruise - one of my favorite human beings, one of our great movie stars of all time — it would be fun, but there is nothing in the works. But we have discussed it in the past.' 'Tropic Thunder' - which also stars Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black and Steve Coogan - follows a group of pampered actors filming a war movie in the jungle who are thrust into real danger when they're mistaken for actual soldiers. As chaos unfolds, they must become the heroes they only pretended to be. Reflecting on the movie, Stiller admitted 'Tropic Thunder' likely wouldn't make it past the 'script phase' now due to its controversial elements. He said: 'Somebody should be making movies that are that out-there. If it is clear where the joke is, and it is clear what your point of view is, you have to take those chances … I think comedy is going to get there.' The 'Zoolander' star added Downey Jr.'s Kirk Lazarus - a white actor who undergoes 'pigmentation alteration' surgery to temporarily darken his skin for his portrayal of the black character - was a particular aspect of 'Tropic Thunder' that would likely sink any chances of making the movie today. He told Collider: 'Yeah, the idea of Robert playing that character who's playing an African American character, I mean, incredibly dicey. Even at the time, of course, it was dicey too. 'The only reason we attempted it was I felt like the joke was very clear in terms of who that joke was on — actors trying to do anything to win awards. 'But now, in this environment, I don't even know if I would have ventured to do it, to tell you the truth. I'm being honest.'
