Manchester City's £100m winger Jack Grealish reported to be joining Everton on season-long loan
Everton are in talks to sign Manchester City winger Jack Grealish on a season-long loan. It is reported that the 29-year-old is admired by Everton boss David Moyles, and is expected to undergo a medical and finalise his loan agreement soon. Grealish is said to have fallen out of favour with City boss Pep Guardiola, after he was left out of the squad for their final Premier League game of the season against Fulham. He signed for Manchester City from Aston Villa in 2021 for £100m - a record for the club - however Grealish made just seven league starts last season, and was an unused substitute for the club's FA Cup Final defeat to Crystal Palace. Grealish will be aiming to win back his place in Thomas Tuchel's England squad after admitting he was "heartbroken" by being left out of the squad for the 2024 European Championship. The winger was also a target for Serie A champions Napoli earlier this summer, but reports now allege he will stay in the Premier League.

Northern Ireland international hits winning penalty to deny Liverpool at Wembley
The second half substitute almost won the game in the normal time, missing a chance in the 90th minute to give the London club a famous 3-2 win. But Devenny redeemed himself in the shoot-out by scoring the winning penalty. Jean-Phillippe Mateta, Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr also scored for Palace in the shoot-out. Mo Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott all missed for the Premier League champions, with England goalkeeper Dean Henderson in fine form. It was a proud day for Devenny, who was an unused substitute in Palace's FA Cup Final win over Manchester City in May. The Scottish-born midfielder who qualifies for Northern Ireland has been capped five times by Michael O'Neill. The 21 year-old made his senior debut in a 2-2 draw against Luxembourg in November. At Wembley, Liverpool summer signing Hugo Ekitike opened the scoring on his competitive debut in the fourth minute, assisted by another new addition, Florian Wirtz, before Jean-Philippe Mateta drew the sides level with a 17th-minute penalty. Arne Slot's Premier League champions restored their lead four minutes later through another debutant, Jeremie Frimpong, before Ismaila Sarr's 77th-minute equaliser forced penalties. Palace won the shoot-out 3-2 with Devenny scoring the decisive penalty.
