Man United Eyeing Up Summer Move For Inter Milan & Germany Star

Man United are eyeing up Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck as a potential target for the summer transfer window. This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Red Devils have not made an official offer to the Nerazzurri for Bisseck, but consider him to be among their targets in defense. Advertisement Defender Yann Bisseck joined Inter Milan from Danish club Aarhus in the summer of 2023. The Nerazzurri signed the German for a fee of around €7.5 million at the time. And whilst Bisseck was far from a household name when Inter brought him in, he has built a reputation for himself over the last couple seasons at Inter. Having spent the first half of last season bedding in, Bisseck became a regular fixture in the Nerazzurri starting eleven. So far, Bisseck has made 68 appearances for Inter Milan across all competitions. Notably, he started both legs of Inter's Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona this season. (Photo by) FCIN report that Inter Milan are hardly going to push Bisseck out this summer. They would certainly be happy to keep the 24-year-old at the club. Advertisement However, at the same time, the Nerazzurri will listen to offers for Yann Bisseck. They are well aware of the size of the profit that they could make if they were to sell him this summer. And there is interest from the Premier League in Bisseck's signature. West Ham United have already reportedly lined up a move for the German international. However, reports FCIN, there is also interest from Manchester United. The Italian outlet report that the Red Devils have not yet made an official offer for Bisseck. However, there interest is known. United will look to target defenders comfortable in a back three system. Therefore, Bisseck's time at Inter may well have prepared him very well for their style of play under Ruben Amorim.

Inter Milan Record Superior Home Record Than Napoli In 2024-25 Serie A – But Erratic Home Form Not Enough

Inter Milan recorded a superior away record to Napoli in the 2024-25 Serie A season, but their home form proved fatal. Today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, note that the finished the season with the second best away record after Atalanta. Inter Milan signed off for the Serie A season with a win. The Nerazzurri made the short trip to Lombard rivals Como, and beat the newly-promoted side 2-0. It was a win that gave Inter little, as Napoli had also won their concurrent match against Cagliari. However, the Nerazzurri did keep their run of impressive away form alive. As the Gazzetta note, the three points that Inter Milan took against Como took their away total to 38. That is one more than the 37 that Napoli took on their travels this season. However, Inter have not quite managed to take advantage of the San Siro this campaign. They've recorded a total of 43 points at their home stadium. Napoli, meanwhile, took 45 points at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, the bedrock of their title. Inter's away record was not the best in Serie A this season, however. Atalanta managed 42 points in away matches, whilst their erratic home form saw them drop out of the title race.

This according to Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Inter Milan have decided on Luis Henrique as their priority target at wingback. Advertisement The Brazilian is the player the Nerazzurri want as backup and competition for Denzel Dumfries on the right flank. Inter already have a number of options on the flanks. Matteo Darmian has been the main backup for Dumfries for a few seasons now. But the Nerazzurri are prioritizing adding real quality in the role. Particularly with Darmian now 35 and being phased out, as well as also playing in defense. The Nerazzurri initially identified the Brazilian as a target in the spring. They began negotiations with Marseille in March. Advertisement And those talks have been ongoing ever since then. There were other clubs to have showed an interest in Henrique's signature. German champions Bayern Munich particularly looked to rival Inter for the Brazilian. However, Inter remain firmly in the driver's seat to sign Henrique, The Corriere report that the Nerazzurri are planning to hold talks with Marseille this week. Report – Release Clause Demand Complicating Inter Milan & Napoli Pursuit Of Canada Star

Demands of a release clause have been a stumbling block for Inter Milan and Napoli in their pursuit of striker Jonathan David. This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. It is certainly no secret that Inter Milan and Napoli are keen to sign striker Jonathan David this summer. Advertisement The Canadian international is available on a free transfer after his contract with Lille expires. David has confirmed that he will be on his way after five seasons with the French club. Inter Milan have already made their offer to David. They have put around €5-6 million net per season on the table in terms of wages. That is not as high as the Canadian is hoping for. However, the Nerazzurri have made it clear that there offer is take-it-or-leave-it. Meanwhile, Napoli are also set to rival Inter for David's signature. The Partenopei have recently met with the 25-year-old's representatives to sound out a move., Advertisement However, reports FCIN, there is one particular factor that is complicating both Serie A clubs' efforts to sign David. Release Clause Demand Complicates Inter & Napoli Pursuit Of Jonathan David ISTANBUL, TURKEY – AUGUST 13: Jonathan David of Lille celebrates victory during the UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round match between Fenerbahce and Lille FC at Ulker Stadium on August 13, 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey. (Photo by) Apart from David's wage demands and potential agent commissions and sign-on bonuses, there is an additional demand that the 25-year-old striker is making. FCIN report that David wants a release clause in his deal with whichever club he joins. Moreover, the outlet report, the Canadian does not want the outlet to be particularly high. That is not something that either Inter or Napoli would want. Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta has historically shown an aversion to clauses like this, FCIN note. Therefore, FCIN report, neither Inter nor Napoli are likely to agree to a low release clause.

Referee La Penna Praised For Navigating Tricky Torino 0-2 Inter Milan Serie A Clash On Rain-Soaked Evening

Referee Federico La Penna has won praise for his calm handling of a tricky, rain-soaked match between Torino and Inter Milan. Today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, also argue that La Penna got the penalty decisions right – but was wrong to disallow a late Torino goal. Advertisement Referee Federico La Penna was on the whistle at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino yesterday. Torino hosted Inter Milan in both teams' third-last Serie A match of the season. But right from the start, La Penna had to navigate some choppy waters. Within the first couple of minutes, there was a medical emergency for a fan in the stands. Once it became apparent that this was the case, La Penna quickly paused play. This delay went on for about four minutes, but the referee communicated clearly with both sets of players. Therefore, there were no issues with the players, or restless feelings regarding the delay. La Penna Gets It Right On Rain-Soaked Torino 0-2 Inter Milan Serie A Clash FERRARA, ITALY – OCTOBER 27: Referee Federico La Penna gestures during the Serie A match between SPAL and SSC Napoli at Stadio Paolo Mazza on October 27, 2019 in Ferrara, Italy. (Photo by Pier) Things would get even more difficult as the first half of yesterday's match wore on. Advertisement The rain in Turin got progressively worse through the first 45 minutes. It eventually got to the point where the playing surface did not allow the players to realistically continue. The ground was sodden with water. Therefore, the players were clearly slipping, and visibly having trouble getting a foothold. At times, the ball did not travel naturally across the wet pitch when players tried to pass it. Therefore, La Penna conferred with the team captains, and agreed to suspend play temporarily. Once again, the Gazzetta praise the referee for managing the situation. Eventually, Torino and Inter did manage to play out the final few minutes of the first half. Advertisement Following this, halftime went well over fifteen minutes. La Penna, together with the players, figured out the right time to resume play in the difficult conditions. Meanwhile, the Gazzetta argue, La Penna was entirely correct in awarding a penalty to Inter three minutes into the second half. There was little doubt that Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic had cleared out Nerazzurri striker Mehdi Taremi. And that he'd taken none of the ball. Meanwhile, the Gazzetta also argue that La Penna got it right in not awarding Torino a penalty late in the second half. Denzel Dumfries had inadvertently handled the ball following a Cristiano Biraghi shot. But there was little the Dutchman could have done in the situation. Advertisement On the other hand, the Gazzetta argue, Inter got away with one when an Adam Masina header was disallowed late in stoppage time. Kristjan Asllani went down after some shoving. And La Penna saw this as a foul. However, in the view of the Gazzetta, this was a very soft decision, as the Albanian had gone down under little pressure.
