Ryanair flight to Greece has TikTok divided as plane passengers fume over ‘disrespectful' in-flight PDA act

When it comes to flying, there is an unspoken courtesy that most, not all, but most people adhere to so that the trip is enjoyable despite the lack of leg room. TikTok's latest in-flight drama does not involve crying babies or a drunk passenger; it involves two loved-up travellers, one Ryanair aisle, and a whole lot of public affection. TikTok user Harry Marjoram was heading to Greece when he found himself across the aisle from a sight he and his partner won't forget. In a now-viral video, Harry's partner, described as Slavic and 'not a fan of PDA', was seated next to a couple putting on a four-hour performance of the high-altitude variety. 'When my Slavic girlfriend, who hates PDA, meets the PDA Final Boss on a 4-hour flight to Greece,' he wrote in the caption, alongside photos of the amorous pair. The woman is seen straddling her partner's lap, facing toward Harry's girlfriend with her feet tucked casually onto the seat. 'Nothing beats a Ryanair holiday!' he added. The couple's face was blurred, but their positioning spoke volumes, and not everyone was on board. While some commenters saw nothing but a pair of travellers madly in love. 'I only see a couple in love', one user wrote. 'I always sleep on my boyfriend the whole way somewhere, and if you have a problem, I will shove my foot up ur face,' one user defended, whilst also helpfully illustrating the issue. Another insisted, 'If you could be comfy, you would too'. However, others were far less charmed but the pair's behaviour and the majority of the 10 million viewers weren't feeling the love. 'This is so disgusting and disrespectful,' one user commented. 'I would pay extra to sit next to a screaming baby rather than risk this,' said another. And perhaps the most telling comment, 'Where are the Karens when you need them?!'. Some noted that they were fine with a handhold or a peck, but a full body snuggle session mid-flight when you are already shoulder to shoulder with others for an extended amount of time, maybe not. It's unclear whether flight attendants intervened or quietly looked the other way, but the internet's verdict was clear: love is in the air.

The Rock Addresses WWE WrestleMania Absence

The Rock appeared on the Pat McAfee Show today to discuss this past weekend's WWE WrestleMania 41, where John Cena beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title in the main event of night 2. Leading up to WWE Elimination Chamber, the wrestling world was captivated by The Rock's return to WWE television, where he directly addressed Cody Rhodes with a cryptic offer for his "soul." At Elimination Chamber, Rhodes ultimately declined The Rock's offer. Cena then turned heel and betrayed Rhodes, aligning himself with The Rock and setting the stage for a WrestleMania 41 showdown for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Rock was notably absent from WWE television in the weeks leading up to the event and did not make an appearance at WrestleMania 41 itself. He got a call about a month before Elimination Chamber from TKO CEO Ari Emanuel about appearing at Elimination Chamber. The Rock further elaborated on the decision to have Cena turn heel, revealing that the idea came from Triple H. "As we got closer to Elimination Chamber, we were kicking ideas around, myself and Triple H, Nick, my team. Triple H said, 'What about John turning?' I said, 'I love it.' The next question is talking to John and see how he feels about it. John loved the idea of turning heel, but he said there is an anchor that he was going to root it in, which was a real thing he's experienced over the past 25 years. When we were moving forward with John and this idea that we would crown him at 17 and being a heel champion, I knew then, the best thing for the Final Boss, we've established this idea of Cody's soul, we can always come back to it. I did feel, and I made the call, 'I don't want to be involved in that. " The Rock looks on during NXT: New Year's Evil at The Shrine Expo Hall on January 7, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. WWE/Getty Images More news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation "Let the Final Boss step back into the shadows. Let all the spotlight go to John and Cody. Let's not make it about Cody's soul or John's soul. Let's let them do what they do.' I called John after Elimination Chamber, called Cody, and I said, 'I think the Final Boss' work is done. We've established it. We just pulled off the greatest angle i the history of professional wrestling,' other than Hulk Hogan turning heel. We have six weeks, now let's build. You guys go and crush it. I'll be right there with you and I'm always here if you need me, but I think it's best for the Final Boss not to be involved in that finish." The Rock explained that he intended to create a compelling narrative that would draw fans to Elimination Chamber and set up a significant WrestleMania main event. Once Cena's heel turn and the championship match against Rhodes were established, The Rock felt his immediate role in the storyline was complete, allowing the focus to shift to the champion versus challenger dynamic. The Rock indicated that while he appreciates the fans' desire to see him, there's a flip side to the coin of him appearing. He also wanted to be mindful of not overshadowing the central storyline between Cena and Rhodes. "No, they don't have to say anything like that to me," Rock stated (H/T to Fightful for the transcription). "They know, when I come to them and lay this out, 'Here's how I feel it should go. We can insert Final Boss into the end of this finish, but then where do we go?' There are other commitments that I have and I want to be careful that we're not overstepping. I can get involved in the finish, but why get involved in the finish when the spotlight should just be on John, 17, heel champion? What does 2025 look like if this man is saying he's going to ruin pro wrestling? That, to me, is the anchoring storyline. It's not now it's not, but we'll go back to it. I was surprised to see Travis Scott as well, and the moment I saw Travis, it immediately amplified, 'Here comes the Final Boss.' They were waiting. I love John Cena, heel champion, the GOAT says he's going to ruin wrestling. Some parts of it, I would have just adjusted," The Rock concluded More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.

Travis Scott Goes Viral For Helping The Rock And John Cena Beat Up Cody Rhodes On WWE

Travis Scott is one of the most popular Hip-Hop artists in the world, but he went in a different route in WWE this past weekend. The 33-year-old rapper went viral for helping Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and newly-turned-heel John Cena beat up WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. Scott has made multiple appearances in WWE over the years and was always received well. However, things appeared different from the moment he entered the Rogers Centre with 'The Final Boss,' The Rock. Rocky's entrance theme was remixed with Scott's Playboi Carti-assisted hit 'Fe!n,' and the duo sported all-Black attire as they walked to the ring. Cena had just won the Men's Elimination Chamber match, earning him a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, and was celebrating in the ring with Rhodes. Rock was at Elimination Chamber to receive an answer from Rhodes regarding whether or not he would sell his soul and become Rock's 'champion,' effectively turning heel in the process. Rhodes declined the offer and told Rock 'go f**k yourself,' but did not realize there was a bigger plot looming. Cena hugged Rhodes once again before Rock gave him a signal. Cena then kicked the WWE Champion in the groin and beat him up alongside Rock and Scott. Scott had one of the biggest moments of the night when he slapped a prone Rhodes in the face, which you can watch below. View this post on Instagram A post shared by WWE (@wwe) During the Elimination Chamber press conference, a media member asked Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson if fans may one day see Travis Scott get into the ring. 'Yes,' Rock replied. 'Yes. That's why we're doing it. Absolutely […] He wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, 'If you're gonna get your hands bloody, make it count.' He slapped the sh*t of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.' At ComplexCon last fall, Scott was gifted a custom Hardcore belt by Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and expressed his interest in getting in the ring. It is unclear if this will happen on the road to Wrestlemania 41 or at the show itself, but getting involved in Cody Rhodes' story physically is a sign that it is a strong possibility. This was a stark shift in character for Scott, who accompanied popular superstar Jey Uso to the ring during the Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix in January. He now joins a long list of celebrities who have played the villain role, such as Pete Rose, Jon Stewart, Patrick Mahomes, Logan Paul, and more. It will be interesting to see where Scott goes from here in WWE. John Cena's shocking heel turn with The Rock was the ultimate WWE swerve. What happens now?

There are swerves and there are swerves. But WWE reached for the nuclear option on Saturday as Elimination Chamber 2025 culminated in the shock of a lifetime — John Cena finally turning heel. Who could have seen it coming? It's not like the idea hasn't been mooted before across Cena's two decades in the business. It has always sat there just within reach, the equivalent of a 'break glass in case of emergency' option. But WWE has held back on pushing that particular button — until now. Why the change? To state the obvious, it was now or never, given that the 16-time world champion is due to hang up his boots at the end of the year. But all signs before Saturday night had pointed to Cena sticking to the babyface playbook on his retirement tour. A month ago, he was lifting the hand of Jey Uso after the Royal Rumble. Even in the Elimination Chamber match itself, Cena was still playing the good guy. To the delight of longtime wrestling fans, he hugged CM Punk, perhaps the ultimate display of honor, before the two traded blows. It was "hustle, loyalty, respect" in spades. That the segment involving The Rock and Cody Rhodes had been chosen to end the show was a clear sign that something big was coming. But this? Having Cena deliver a low-blow to the Universal Champion and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with The Final Boss? No one predicted that. As with last year's kick off show in Las Vegas, the twist massively ups the ante for this year's WrestleMania 41 main event. Rhodes has been a fantastic champion, but it's no secret that his rivalries have lacked the urgency of his massive title win over Roman Reigns in Philadelphia. That all changes now. In short, babyfaces work best when we have a reason to root for them. Rhodes cutting heartfelt promos in his immaculate tailoring works fine, but having the champion splayed out and bloody as the bad guys whip him with a leather strap? That's 10 times more powerful when it comes to getting us invested. Will Cena win against Rhodes in April at WrestleMania 41? At risk of eating my words later, I'm guessing not. Though naturally WWE will pull out all the stops to make us fear that's going to happen. Expect to have your heart in your mouth when 'The American Nightmare' pulls off a split-second kick-out, having just been grounded by a surprise Attitude Adjustment. This unexpected path we've been led down is even more intriguing given what's been happening with Rhodes losing some of his old friendships. In 2024, Rhodes had his allies to protect him against the sheer force of The Bloodline. But who does he have to protect him this time around? I suspect that Saturday night won't be the last time we see the champion outnumbered and outgunned. As to whether the heel turn meets the hype, there are still big questions to answer. Can Cena even play the heel role, for one. But also whether he will be staying in dark mode for the entire retirement tour. It seems odd to deprive fans of the chance to cheer 'The Champ' for one last time, but switching back too quickly will feel inauthentic. There's also the risk that Cena ends up being overshadowed by The Rock, who has now cemented his position as the ultimate 'big bad' in WWE. My initial suspicion is that we're seeing the first steps toward Rhodes vs. Rock at WrestleMania 42, after 'The Final Boss' realizes that, having failed to build up two heels to defeat Rhodes, he'd like to try to do the job himself. Of course, all of that is months away. Until then, it's best to strap in and enjoy the ride. Last week, WWE confirmed that Cena will be appearing on several of their upcoming European shows, which are being billed as semi-specials under the 'Road to WrestleMania' brand. I suspect that's when the heel turn really begins gathering pace. It's no exaggeration to say that fantasy bookers have been dreaming about this scenario for decades. Now they're getting what they asked for. Please don't fumble this one, WWE.
