‘Sir, This Isn't Safe': MP Cop Drops Truth Bomb On Sunroof Safety In Viral Video
Last Updated: A traffic cop is praised for calmly warning a guardian about kids popping out of a sunroof. In the 50-second video, the man initially laughs and dismisses the concern. A traffic cop is being widely praised on social media for his calm efforts of explaining the dangers of kids popping out of a car's sunroof to a guardian. The 50-second video shows that there were two kids in the car, popping out of the sunroof as their guardian drove. They were then stopped by the traffic official. The officer is seen warning the man, who initially laughs and dismisses the concern. The official then says: 'I will explain to you." He then firmly explains that children leaning out of the sunroof up to their waist are fully exposed from the waist up. In case of sudden braking or an accident, the children could be violently thrown from the vehicle, leading to a potential disaster. The officer's composed warning has earned public admiration. ट्रैफिक अधिकारी ने कितनी अच्छी तरह से सम्मानपूर्वक समझायासनरूफ वाली गाड़ी में ये गलती कभी न करें 🙏 — Jitendra Verma (@jeetusp) May 28, 2025 The video shows that the vehicle was registered in Madhya Pradesh. The undated video is circulating widely on social media, though the exact location of the incident could not be confirmed. As the video gained the attention of social media users, one of them remarked: 'Looks like you've just watched Final Destination, sir." The remark referred to the recent release of Final Destination Bloodlines, a film franchise that revolves around unexpected freak accidents. 'Initially, the driver had a casual, dismissive attitude, but as the officer patiently explained the potential dangers to his children, the smile faded from his face, replaced by visible concern. Sometimes, unless fear strikes, people don't truly grasp the risks," another user said. While many praised the officer's calm approach, some users pointed out that not everyone encounters such patient officials. The original video was likely shared by Jitendra Verma on X. He is the national spokesperson of UP's Samajwadi Party. With about 4.8 lakh views, the video has been widely shared and liked. First Published:

Superheroes, dinosaurs, and Pedro Pascal: Summer blockbuster season is here!
Ethan Hunt's last mission? A new Superman? Two genre-spanning Pedro Pascal films, including a romance and a superhero movie? Hollywood's pulling out the stops this summer movie season, which kicked off with the release of Thunderbolts . May also brought big studio releases like live-action Lilo & Stitch , Final Destination Bloodlines and Mission: Impossible: Final Reckoning . Next month heats up with race cars in F1 , adventure in How To Train Your Dragon , zombies in 28 Years Later and beautiful killers in Ballerina and M3gan 2.0 . July is supercharged with Jurassic World Rebirth , Superman , Fantastic Four: First Steps and The Naked Gun . August delivers big with action ( Nobody 2 ), horror ( Weapons ), a lighthearted body-swap ( Freakier Friday ) and a New York love triangle ( Materialists ). And September closes the season with some supernatural ( The Conjuring 4 ) and romance ( A Big Bold Beautiful Journey ). Here's a guide to help make sense of the many, many options in theatres. Release dates are subject to change. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (Now showing) Nothing ever really ends in the land of franchise filmmaking, but the 'final' in the title suggests this could actually be Tom Cruise's last ride as Ethan Hunt. Even if it isn't, audiences can trust it'll be full of death-defying spectacles worthy of the big screen. Lilo & Stitch (Now showing) This live-action reimagining of the 2002 classic about orphaned Hawaiian sisters who unknowingly adopt an alien was directed by Marcel The Shell With Shoes On filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp. Sydney Agudong, who plays older sister Nani, said: 'The beauty of this movie is that it highlights the idea of Aloha and Ohana and the family dynamics that happen here along with the aliens and the Hawaiian roller coaster ride.' Lilo &Stitch Karate Kid: Legends (June 5) Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio unite for the newest Karate Kid film, set three years after Cobra Kai and focusing on a new kid, Li, played by Ben Wang. 'It kind of harkens back to the previous entries in the franchise,' Wang said. 'It's a kid who is a fish out of water who comes to a new city and has to face down bullies.' Ana De Armas leads this John Wick spin-off about a deadly (and classically trained) assassin. Ballerina How To Train Your Dragon (June 12) Unlike most live adaptations of animated movies, filmmaker Dean DeBlois is behind both. DeBlois said their goal was to make the film 'really immersive', to dial up the sense of urgency and peril and 'to just pull the audience in and make them feel like these dragons are real, that you could own one, you could fly on the back of one'. Mason Thames plays Hiccup and Nico Parker takes on the role of Astrid in this epic fantasy sure to enchant a new generation (and the one who grew up on the original). The original team behind 28 Days Later, including director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland, return with a new entry featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes. This intergalactic adventure centres on an 11-year-old earthling (Yonas Kibreab) who is abducted by aliens and assumed to be a world leader. Oscar-winner Zoe Saldana is part of the voice cast. The creepy, dancing doll is back – as is an even more dangerous version on a killing spree whom she has to stop. Any questions? M3gan 2.0 Brad Pitt plays 'the best that never was', F1 driver Sonny Hayes, who's recruited to mentor a young up-and-comer (Damson Idris) in this high-octane film from Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. Real racing cars were used, driver Lewis Hamilton consulted and a new camera system was developed to give audiences an immersive experience. 'It's a story about a last-place team, a group of underdogs, and Sonny Hayes in his later years having one more chance to try to do something he was never able to do, which is win a race in F1,' Kosinski said. Jurassic World Rebirth (July 3) Filmmaker Gareth Edwards (a Jurassic Park superfan and the director of The Creator) is ushering in a new era of Jurassic movies and harkening back to the Steven Spielberg originals in this film with Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey. Much about the film is being kept top secret, but Edwards said David Koepp's script read like a love letter to Spielberg's early work. 'It's basically a mission story where these military types go to this island to get this DNA, then there's a twist,' Edwards said. 'This family ends up involved and it becomes a story of survival. It's like one giant roller coaster ride and once it gets going, it sort of doesn't stop.' James Gunn is ushering in a new era of Superman, with a fresh face in David Corenswet and the promise that he's a different Superman than what audiences have seen before. Gunn said that this is 'a Superman that's both more grounded in his own personality and his relationship, which is much more complex than has been in the past. And then also the big magic world of Superman being in the world of the DCU with flying dogs and robots and giant monsters'. There's romance with Rachel Brosnahan's Lois Lane, and a 'pretty scary' Lex Luthor in Nicholas Hoult. 'He's actually going to kill (Superman),' Gunn said. 'And that's cool to see.' I Know What You Did Last Summer (July 17) Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr reprise their roles from the 1997 slasher in this new instalment featuring an eerily similar situation and a cast of pretty young up-and-comers including Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King and Tyriq Withers. I Know What You Did Last Summer Rihanna produced and stars as Smurfette in this new musical adventure. 'There's a purity to the Smurfs mythos,' said Nick Offerman, who voices Papa Smurf's brother Ken. 'That, I think, is what makes their appeal so timeless. They're a benevolent group of wee blue villagers who, you know, want to love one another and lead productive lives while fending off the world's forces of evil, usually represented by the machinations of some wizards out for ill gotten gains.' The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 24) Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach unite to play 'Marvel's first family' in this retro-futuristic world set in 1960s New York. Director Matt Shakman (WandaVision, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) said they are the only superheroes in their world and are the leading lights of their age. While the scale and world building were on another level, Shakman said, 'it's also no different from all of the great comedies and dramas that I've done – in the end, it comes down to character, to relationships and to heart and humour'. Liam Neeson flexes his particular set of comedy skills as Frank Drebin Jr in this irreverent new entry from The Lonely Island veteran Akiva Schaffer, featuring Paul Walter Hauser and Pamela Anderson. Talk To Me filmmakers Danny and Michael Philippou return with this creepy new movie about death, resurrection and the arrival of an adopted kid who is not quite right. Sally Hawkins plays the mother. Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Awkwafina and Anthony Ramos return for another animated heist, but this time they're teaming up with a new squad called the Bad Girls (voiced by Danielle Brooks, Maria Bakalova and Natasha Lyonne). An entire classroom of children goes missing in filmmaker Zach Cregger's eerie follow-up to Barbarian, starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner and Alden Ehrenreich. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are back as the body-swapping mother and daughter duo. Bob Odenkirk's former assassin Hutch Mansell can't catch a break. This time, Keanu Reeves joins the bloody fun. Dakota Johnson plays a matchmaker torn between two prospects (played by Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal) in love story from Past Lives filmmaker Celine Song. 'It's a modern love story that's set in New York City and it's inspired by the brief time that I worked as a professional matchmaker,' Song said. 'I really tried in this film to be really honest about the marketplace of dating, as the people actually experience it and live it today.' The Conjuring: Last Rites (Sept 4) Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return to their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren. A Big Bold Beautiful Journey (Sept 18) Those who have no interest in superheroes or the usual summer shenanigans might appreciate this romantic fantasy-drama from the singularly named Kogonada who made the intriguing dramas Columbus and After Yang. Originally slated to come out in May, the studio moved the film starring Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge because, according to Variety, 'a September release was more appealing to the studio, as it's filled with more horror and male-centred titles, allowing the female event film to stand out.' – AP

Charli XCX wants to make a Final Destination movie with 'It girls'
Charli XCX wants to make a 'Final Destination' movie featuring "It girls". The 32-year-old pop star is a huge fan of the horror franchise - which focuses on people who cheat death before their destiny catches up with them - and she's been rewatching the the first five movies before heading to the cinema to see the sixth installment 'Final Destination Bloodlines' - and it's given Charli an idea for her own 'Final Destination' film. In a post on TikTok, she explained: "I'm rewatching all of the 'Final Destination' movies, in preparation to see 'Final Destination Bloodlines', which I'm really excited to see. "The reason I love these movies is that they really just are about hot people getting killed. You know, there's no moral backbone to the story, it really is just, 'they're hot, they're cursed and they deserve to die." Charli went on to add: "I was thinking, well, shouldn't there be a sort of It Girl version of this franchise. You know like, a 'Final Destination' with It girls. "Kind of like, Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabbriette, Romy Mars, Me, Quenlin Blackwell, Devon Lee Carlson … maybe there's like a Scream Queen in there like Jenna [Ortega]. "Maybe there's an OG Scream Queen like Sissy Spacek. And then it's also directed by like a horror auteur." She went on to insist her idea for the next movie would stick to the franchise's "formula". Charli said: "The films wouldn't have to change their formula, I think the whole point is that they play into the lore. "They kind of make fun of their own lore, and I don't think this one would have to be any different, like I think that's the point. "It's really not trying to do anything other than have hot people die in the most brutal ways and play with some unbelievable dialogue." Actress Rachel Sennott - who was one of Charli's top picks for her movie idea - was along those who commented on the post and she told the singer she's up for taking part. Rachel wrote: "Ok I'm in." Charli has already started dabbling in the movie business and has a number of film projects in the works including Takashi Miike's film 'Audition' which she is producing and starring in, as well as roles in 'The Moment' and 'The Gallerist'.

Charli XCX Wants To Join A Final Destination Movie After Bloodlines, And I'm Loving Her Pitch For A Sequel
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Dear readers, it just might be time to call it Final Destination summer, and I say that fully knowing that Bloodlines' spot on the 2025 movie schedule came way before Memorial Day weekend. But between Bloodlines' morbidly beautiful box office, and the rave reviews the picture has snagged, people are still going to be talking about this smash hit horror show. Singer/actor Charli XCX is one of those people, and her reaction comes with a pitch for a sequel - which, of course, leaves a prime spot for her to jump on board. Her idea rests on a key point about the Final Destination movies, and even comes with suggested castings and directors! Taking to TikTok as she prepared to see the latest entry from directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the pop star got right to brass tacks. Showing that she probably has a Max subscription that allows her to stream all of the past installments, Charli XCX boiled down the entire Final Destination series to this premise: The reason I love these movies is that they really are just about hot people getting killed. There's no like moral backbone to the story. It's just like, they're hot, they're cursed and they deserve to die. And these films do so well, like, no matter who's in them.… It doesn't matter who's in these films, they do like, super, super well. Even though our Final Destination Bloodlines review highlights that there's more of a tenderness to this round of Death's grand plan, what Ms. XCX said above makes total sense. Much as the slashers of yore that pitted photogenic young people against the foe of the moment, putting pretty darlings through the meat grinder is a bedrock of horror tradition. Max: Plans start from $9.99 a monthStarting at $9.99 a month (With Ads), and with other tiers of premium/no-interruption streaming also available, an HBO Max subscription could be one hell of a time. Not only are all of the Final Destination movies streaming on that platform, but there are also original shows like The Last of Us that can keep the scares going. View Deal I mean, how would you explain some of the outfits and decisions made in the heat of something like the Friday the 13th series? Charli XCX gets that, and with that thought in mind, the pitch for a Final Destination sequel shared below sounds less like fan fiction and more like a viable idea. While on first glance Charli XCX's Final Destination pitch sounds like it could be the remake of The Neon Demon no one asked for, her grasp on both the genre and this particular formula sidesteps such criticism. Here now is the story pitch, as well as a pretty stacked casting list that should be reaching out to their agents ASAP: And so I was thinking, 'Shouldn't there be a sort of, 'It Girl' version to this franchise? You know? Like a Final Destination … with kind of like Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabriette, Romy Mars, Me, [Quenlin] Blackwell, Devon Lee Carlson. Maybe there's a scream queen in there, like Jenna (Ortega), maybe there's an OG scream Sissy Spacek. I don't know about the rest of you, but Death stalking a bunch of supermodels, actors, and influencers through Hollywood sounds kinda cool. The set pieces could range from a fashion show gone deadly, a pop concert leading to a huge wave of destruction, and potentially the most disastrous audition - for what else, a horror movie. Also, Charli XCX deserves a ton of credit for fleshing this idea out, right down to the inclusion of Jenna Ortega and Sissy Spacek as the 'scream queens' to hold down tradition. But if that's not enough proof of the 'Guess' singer's love of the genre, check out her list of dream directors to make it a reality: And then it's also directed by a horror auteur, like Ti West, or Coralie [Fargeat]. Or play into the B-movieness of it all and get Robert Rodriguez to do it, and everybody's getting completely massacred. ... I don't know, maybe take a big swing and get [David] Fincher to do it. Imagine. Final Destination Bloodlines showed that there's still life in this franchise yet, and who wouldn't want to throw a couple log trucks on the fire to bring it back again? I don't want to be presumptuous or anything, as my heart is still broken over Charli XCX's rumored Narnia casting not coming to pass. Still, surely one of her concerts would be the perfect venue for Death's plan to reach all of those 'It Girls' waiting to die. I hate that this is the point where I have to remind everyone that this is all merely a hypothetical scenario, and the franchise powers-that-be would need to turn the wheels to make it all happen. However, if all of this talk about Final Destination has you excited to dance with death once more, fear not. Bloodlines is still in theaters, with the rest of the series streaming on Max. Meanwhile, I'll try not to imagine David Fincher directing a mortality-filled tribute to his 'Vogue' music video, or any of the other delicious possibilities Charli XCX has now left us all to ponder.
