Liverpool Are Stepping Up Their Efforts To Land This Real Madrid Winger: Dream Choice For Slot?
In a recent report, Foot Mercato revealed that Liverpool are stepping up their efforts to land Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. It has been mentioned that the Reds are showing interest in bringing the Brazilian attacker to Anfield this summer. Rodrygo's Impressive Form In Spanish Football Rodrygo had a productive season at the Madrid club recently after he put in a string of impressive performances for them in the final third. The Brazilian sensation scored 14 times and picked up 11 assists in 54 matches for Los Blancos in the previous campaign across all competitions. The 24-year-old managed to shine at times with contributions in the opponent's half as he averaged 2.52 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga. He kept 37% of his attempts on target. Rodrygo was even careful when distributing possession in the final third, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 85.9% in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via Rodrygo's current contract at Real Madrid will run out in the summer of 2028. Thus, it won't be easy for Liverpool to sign him on a cut-price deal this off-season. (Photo by) Will Rodrygo Be A Dream Choice For Liverpool Boss Arne Slot? Rodrygo can find a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He is a good finisher in the final third and has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates to score. The Brazilian wide player is a decent dribbler with the ball as well and can contribute by scoring a lot of important goals for his side. He is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if asked to do so. Rodrygo would no doubt enhance the quality of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot's frontline. He is good enough to help the Reds challenge for some major honours over the next few years. At 24, Rodrygo has his peak years ahead of him which makes him a dream choice for the Merseyside club to consider in this transfer window. However, there are some question marks over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if Liverpool manage to bring him to Anfield this summer.

OGC Nice's Marcin Bulka unenthused by Galatasaray move
Marcin Bulka (25) looks highly likely to leave OGC Nice this summer. The Polish goalkeeper, a key player for Le Gym over the past two seasons, has been in talks over a contract renewal. However, towards the start of last season, those talks hit a brick wall. There has been a deadlock ever since, and there is little optimism over a renewal of talks. Determined not to lose him on a free next summer, Nice are looking to sell Bulka during the ongoing transfer window. Initial interest in Le Gym's No.1 has come from Turkey and more specifically from Galatasaray, according to a report from L'Équipe. Advertisement However, the publication understands that Bulka himself is not particularly enthused by a move to the Turkish club, even if they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season. Galatasaray would be willing to spend €20m on the goalkeeper. Local rivals AS Monaco have also been cited as a potential destination by Foot Mercato. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Stade Rennais are interested in bringing Idrissa Gueye (35) back to Ligue 1, with the midfielder set to come to the end of his contract with Everton at the end of the month. However, they are not the only French side interested, with Paris FC also hopeful of a move. His current side, Everton, have not given up hope that he will continue his stay in England. The Premier League outfit have reportedly offered a one-year extension with an option to extend by a further year to the midfielder, but he has yet to accept the proposal. GFFN | Nick Hartland
