Brooke says the press from the show has been amazing, but Taylor shuts down any thought that it means more than business. Katie (Heather Tom) tells Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that what they share is magical, and the whole audience was reacting to him and Brooke on the runway. They were always meant to be together. Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) is sniffing fragrances and thinking about Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Zende (Delon De Metz) comes in and says she must be thinking about something good, knowing she was thinking about Carter. He knows she loves Carter. Hope (Annika Noelle) tells Carter that she loves him and she doesn't want him to ever doubt it. Daphne wants to know why Hope was allowed back at the company and can't understand why she was welcomed back after what she did. The company and Carter are better off without Hope. Hope can only imagine what Carter was thinking when he overheard what he heard. Carter says she can lean on him while she's going through this. Whatever she needs, he can take it. He hugs her. Katie gets a message about Brooke's magazine cover. Ridge looks at her on the cover, dressed in the showstopper, and he thinks back to the runway. He brushes it off. Katie knows he's committed to Taylor, but she wants him to be honest about missing Brooke. Taylor admits the show was a huge success for the whole company, and she says Brooke was a big part of that. Brooke says the moment she and Ridge shared on the runway caught everyone's attention. Taylor agrees, but she says it was just good for the company. It doesn't go beyond that. Katie says she can't imagine seeing Brooke in the Portofino gown didn't have an impact on him, but he says it's different because he's with Taylor. He wants to be a better man, so he wants his word to mean something. He's with Taylor and that's where he wants to be. Taylor admits that in the past, she would have been concerned or insecure, but Ridge is with her because he wants to be, and he's made his choice. Brooke asks if she thought their moment on the runway meant anything, and Taylor says it was a moment for the business. It won't change his love for her. Zende never imagined Daphne would get so attached, and she was surprised herself. She can't understand why Steffy would trust Hope, but she thinks Hope wants to be somewhere else. She's still convinced that Hope's future is with someone else and Daphne's future is with Carter. Hope suggests that they leave everything in the past and move forward. Carter agrees. Hope says they have a strong foundation, and they can build a future together. He vows to never let her down again. Later, Carter invites Daphne into his apartment, and she says she heard that Hope is back at Forrester. She knows he feels bad about Hope being punished and how he thought it wasn't fair, and she asks if the reason he's working from home is that there's tension between them. He admits he just saw Hope, leading Daphne to say he'll find love again. He says he has, and Daphne fully expects him to say it's her. Hope arrives at the design office and Brooke can see she's excited. But Hope can tell something is wrong with her mother. Brooke says Taylor told her she's confident in her relationship with Ridge. Ridge tells Katie that he hurt Taylor a lot in the past, and he'll always love Brooke, but he has to be true to her. Katie presses him and says he can fight all he wants, but he's just putting off the 'inevitable.' Katie moves to leave, and she runs into Taylor, who guesses (correctly) that Katie was trying to get Ridge to get back with Brooke. Daphne says that if someone told her that she'd be in LA feeling the way she feels about Carter, she'd think they were crazy. She's never felt that way about anyone. Falling for Carter was never part of the plan. Daphne says she needs to let herself go and take a leap of faith, and she has never felt vulnerable before. Carter says it can be scary because no one wants to get their heart broken, or be the one to break it. She reveals she's fallen in love with him, which is not what Carter was expecting to hear. He tells her it has been a very confusing time for him, but he's found love with Hope. He doesn't want to hurt her, but he's with Hope again. Brooke says she felt so much about her connection with Ridge on the runway. It felt so intimate despite being in the middle of an audience. She thought for sure it meant they would be together. Hope knows it has been difficult for her without Ridge. Brooke admits that Ridge has always been her heart, and she's always followed her heart. She has to believe that they will be together. Taylor isn't surprised that Katie would be there advocating for Brooke. The Logans are loyal, and Ridge agrees. Taylor says she saw Brooke to tell her how impressed she was with the runway, which created an unforgettable moment. It was an incredible day for the company, and she was a huge part of it. Ridge praises her for being a big enough person to admit that, but Taylor adds that she warned Brooke that it was just a moment. As she leans in for a kiss, she tells Ridge that this is their moment, and their chapter. But as he holds her, his expression reveals he's questioning everything. She reassures him that there was no way for him to know what was really happening. Carter still can't process a man of Liam's age dying. Hope can't even think about all that Liam's going through, and what Beth will have to go through. Carter promises to be there for both of them, and she knows she can count on him. Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) gets a message from Deuce that he's getting the jet ready to return to Paris. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) walks in and sees her suitcase and is horrified that Daphne is leaving. Liam is at Steffy's home in Malibu. He's groggy as he takes his meds. When Finn (Tanner Novlan) walks in from his run, Liam jokes that he should have come with him, but Finn would have needed to carry him. Liam starts to collapse in the middle of his joke, forcing Finn to dash across the room to steady him. Liam insists he's ok, but Finn helps him to the couch and asks how often these incidents have been happening. Liam admits they have been increasing in 'frequency and severity' and he admits he's 'getting closer' to the end. Steffy can't believe Daphne is leaving, but Daphne reminds her that Hope is back at Forrester Creations and wants to know why Steffy didn't warn her. Daphne feels blindsided. As they settle on the couch, Hope says it feels good and 'right' that they're back together. Carter says he never wants to be in that position ever again. She recalls the situation at Forrester and when he allowed Daphne to kiss him; Carter vows that Hope will never feel that level of pain from him ever again. Finn offers Liam some water and asks if he's thought about the treatment options he was presented with. Liam quotes Hamlet, noting that he has to laugh about it. Daphne can't understand why Steffy brought Hope back. She feels betrayed. Steffy understands why Daphne feels the way she does, but she admits it's her own fault for the way Daphne views Hope. Steffy asks if this is more about Carter, and Daphne tearfully tells her that she never expected to feel the way she does. Hope, in the meantime, is enjoying being back in Carter's apartment…and back in his arms. He agrees wholeheartedly. She asks if they can have a game night soon, reminding him of her winning streak. He tells her to wait for a moment with her eyes closed. 'No peeking!' he tells her. When he returns, he kisses her cheek and presents her with a glass of wine. In the span of time she had her eyes closed, he lit a bunch of candles so that she could have a little time without the weight of the world on her shoulders. They share a toast to making every moment count and being better than ever before. 'To us,' they say as they clink their glasses. Steffy pours Daphne a drink and asks about Hope and Carter being back together. Daphne thought they were done for good, adding that she thought Hope was 'recommitting' to Liam. Steffy tries to correct her, but Daphne insists that Carter thinks Hope is telling the truth about loving him more than Liam. Deuce (Tom Arnold) shows up to take Daphne to the airport and teases Steffy about enjoying a free trip on the company plane. Daphne and Steffy share a hug, with Steffy still in disbelief that her friend is leaving. Daphne thanks her friend for the experience. She never thought she'd enjoy working there and certainly never thought she'd fall in love, but she did. Liam says he's been thinking nonstop about the treatment and on the surface, if there was a treatment that could extend his life, it would be easy. But he knows that those treatments can cause awful side effects, having seen them with his mother. He doesn't know if he could do that to his daughters. Liam tells Finn he's not sure what to do. Liam also wants to thank Finn, who says he hasn't done anything. Liam says he wants to thank him for what's coming when he's gone. Finn tries to stop him, but Liam needs to say it. He needs Finn to know what it means when he's not able to be there for his daughters. Finn, and hopefully Carter, too, will be there to 'pick up my torch' with graduations, weddings and all of the events he's going to miss. 'I'd be honored,' Finn says, and the two men share a hug. Deuce and Daphne share some champagne ahead of takeoff. Daphne looks out the window after he walks back to the cockpit, thinking about her kiss with Carter. She thinks about him saying that Hope was the woman for him. She sighs. Carter tells Hope that she takes his breath away. He can't think about his future without thinking of her. She's the woman he's always dreamed about. He never thought he'd have a wife or a family, and then she came along. And it's funnier considering she's been in front of him for a very long time. 'My dream girl's come to life,' he tells her, adding that he loves her and wants to make her happy. When he drops to one knee and pulls out a velvet box, she's stunned. He tells her she's the only woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and he asks if she'll marry him. Hope, shocked, looks at the ring with wide eyes. Their subsequent sleepover kept them up all night. She's thrilled at her new ring and the prospect of spending the rest of her life with him. At Forrester Creations, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) says Hope is thrilled to be back. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wants to know what the plan is, and what her role will be. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) says they haven't made any decisions. At Il Giardino, Luna (Lisa Yamada) looks at a picture of Will and decides to send him a text. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) walks in and sees her. She looks surprised to see her granddaughter. She tells Luna that she saw the text and she reminds Luna that Will is with Electra. 'Yeah, for now,' Luna laughs. At the office, Will (Crew Morrow) walks into the design office looking for his phone. When he finds it, he tells Electra (Laneya Grace) that Luna just sent him a text. Luna doesn't understand why Sheila is upset after Sheila encouraged her. Sheila warns her that she has to accept her circumstances. Sheila needs her to leave Finn alone, and Will, too. Sheila wonders if Luna chooses not to listen, or if it's something worse. Will didn't want to worry Electra about Luna, but he admits that it's been happening a lot. Luna has been reaching out, which infuriates Electra. Brooke knows there has been a lot of turmoil, and Steffy says that she and Hope see things 'differently' now. Brooke says Hope deserves happiness. Hope is so excited about telling everyone about their engagement. When she sees that Carter looks concerned, he admits he's thinking about how Ridge and Steffy will react. Ultimately, though, they're still going to tell everyone. Luna wants to know why Sheila isn't supporting her, but Sheila says that sometimes you have to be realistic about expectations. She's fixating on Will, and it's not healthy, leading her to wonder if Luna has always been ignoring what people want in order to get her way. That's how she ended up in this whole situation, Sheila points out. Luna points out they could break up tomorrow and hopes for Will's sake that they do because he'd be better off with her than Electra. Sheila is now very concerned. Electra is worried that Luna is obsessed with him. When Will says he'll block her, Electra says it's better to know what she's saying. He has to leave for a meeting, telling her not to worry about Luna. After he leaves, Electra decides she wants Luna to say everything to her face. Ridge and Brooke are shocked that Daphne is gone. They're sad to see her leave. Carter and Hope walk in, and everyone can see that the couple is happy. Hope tells Steffy that they've been doing so much repairing of their relationship, and it's all about deciding who you are spending your life with. When she reveals her ring, Brooke is thrilled, Steffy is excited but also not excited, and Ridge is not excited at all. Steffy asks when they got engaged, while Brooke welcomes Carter to the family. Steffy says congratulations are in order, and Ridge echoes the sentiment. Carter says they don't want to live without each other, and Hope knows that it will be awkward for a while. Ridge reminds her that she stole the company from them, so that's also awkward. Carter tells everyone that he loves Hope more than anything, and he wants to be a husband for Hope and a stepfather for Beth. He tells Ridge that they'll do everything they can to rebuild their relationship, confidence and trust. But for now, he wants to focus on his bride-to-be. Sheila tells Luna that she needs to think about how she's talking. She doesn't want Luna to misunderstand what she's saying. She tells her to stay calm; she has to leave, but she tells her granddaughter to lie low and stay away from Electra. When Luna starts ranting about how easy Electra has had it, Sheila slams her hands down and says she needs to stop being fixated on Will. Once Sheila leaves, Electra walks in and tells Luna that Will isn't interested in her. Luna says that's not the 'vibe' she's getting. Electra says Luna creeps Will out, and she needs to stay away from him. Luna, unfazed, slowly approaches Electra and asks what she's going to do about it. Steffy says the ring is beautiful, and Ridge jokes about needing sunglasses. Brooke is thrilled that they all agree on something. Steffy says she wants to be happy for Hope, knowing that Liam wants Hope to be happy with Carter. She smiles and says that they look like they're at peace, and if they're happy, then she's happy. Hope and Carter thank her. Brooke reminds Carter that she's Hope's mother and she wants him to take care of her. Carter promises to never have a divided heart. He'll love her til the day he dies. Hope promises the same, and they share a kiss while Ridge and Steffy watch. Electra says Luna has no shame as she throws himself at Will after he told her to stay away. Electra reminds her that she killed two people and almost killed Steffy, but Luna says she's reformed and over it. Luna says she's sick of girls like Electra. Electra says Luna has no soul and tells her to back off. Luna says she's not taking orders from a 'spoiled brat' and tells Electra that if she threatens her again, she'll 'be sorry.' She knows he and Brooke have history with their customers and that's part of his industry. She truly believes in the two of them, 'despite Brooke.' He smiles at her. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tells Hope (Annika Noelle) that she doesn't want to give up on Ridge. Hope knows that his relationship with Taylor came as a result of taking the CEO position. Brooke appreciates that Hope told Ridge that the takeover was wrong. Hope says she's recently come to understand that life is too short for grudges, so if Brooke wants to be with Ridge, she wants her to be with him. Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) can't believe that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has fallen in love again…with Hope. Taylor giggles as Ridge tells her that her smile is 'more radiant' when she's confident. He wants to be sure that seeing him with Brooke on the runway doesn't bother her. She's happy that the show was a hit, and Brooke deserves credit for her starring role. But Ridge comes home to Taylor every night, so she wins. Brooke is thrilled to hear that Hope is back with Carter again. She's so happy for her daughter. Daphne reminds Carter what Hope said to Liam, but he says he misinterpreted them. He's the man Hope wants. 'I'm her future.' Ridge says he enjoys this version of Taylor because this confident version of her is the woman he fell in love with. He likes her a lot, he teases, telling her that she's 'transformed' his life and made him see that love doesn't have to be complicated. They joke about drama, but he appreciates being able to hold each other after the drama and 'making love with wild abandon.' And growing old together. Brooke wasn't sure Hope would get back with Carter, but she's glad it happened. Hope admits she was still feeling hurt, but she understands that guilt isn't worth it. A friend reminded her that all of those moments shouldn't be wasted on anger. They're human and they all make mistakes, but what she has with Carter is special, and they want to make the most of it, no matter 'how much time' they have left. Hope is forced to backtrack when Brooke says she's sounding 'morbid.' Daphne can't process that Carter misunderstood what Hope said. She warns Carter that Hope is trying to make excuses, but he says it was a complete misunderstanding. She hates thinking he's putting his trust in her, and she could hurt him. He says nothing — and no one — is ever going to come between them. Taylor asks Ridge if he ever thinks about everything they've been through. She points out that they have so much history, and they were different people in the early days. He agrees that they're older and wiser, and she jokes about aging. She appreciates where they are after working so hard. 'This is it, Ridge, finally,' she says. 'This is our time. The best chapter of our lives.' She kisses him. Brooke is glad one of them is figuring things out, noting that life is difficult and people make mistakes. Hope says it's a relief after the craziness she's been through the past few weeks. Brooke says Hope has a bright future ahead of her. Hope sighs, thinking about telling Carter about Liam's condition. Carter tells Daphne that he knows this isn't what she wanted to hear. Daphne can't believe Carter is saying this, because why else would Hope say those words if she didn't mean them? Surely Hope wants to be with Liam, and she's going to be with Liam. Carter says that won't be the case. His tone is sober, because he knows the truth. He says that Daphne has been wonderful and he appreciates that she was there for him, but they're not going to end up together. She knows how much Carter cares for Hope. 'Au revoir, Carter Walton,' she says as she walks out the door. There's a knock on Carter's door. It's Hope, and she greets him with a hug. He asks how Brooke felt about the news that they're together, and he's glad Brooke kept encouraging him. They pledge to be 'all in' with each other, and she believes in him. She knows he won't let her down again. Ridge is in his office, alone, and he thinks back to his time with Taylor and how she mentioned their shared history. Taylor is thinking the same thing. 'A lifetime of memories, and many more to come.' Ridge looks at the photo of Brooke on the runway. He thinks about Brooke telling him that she wants to move forward with their lives, as she asks if he wants a future together. She wants him to come home, and she wants to be his Logan again. He thinks back to their wedding. He thinks of their time in Rome, where he asked her to be 'his Logan forever.' Brooke, in the design office, thinks about her memories with Ridge and says that after all they've been through, she believes in him and in their destiny. The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers for May 29 Episode: Brooke Prepares Engagement Bash For Hope and Carter
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, May 29, deliver engagement celebrations, new conflict, and lots of drama. Brooke prepares an engagement bash for Hope and Carter. Just days after getting engaged, Hope Logan and Carter Walton are set to take their news public. Following their announcement of engagement, reactions vary wildly, adding to the drama. While Brooke Logan is thrilled and immediately starts making plans for a party to celebrate the couple, Ridge remains apprehensive. Ridge hears out Brooke's excited plans, but he can't dispel his doubts, particularly with the recent power transfer within the company. While Steffy seems willing to put things behind her, Ridge isn't so sure. He will voice his objections to Brooke before she sends out invitations. Will and Katie discuss work, love, and Luna In the meantime, Will Spencer gets down to business with a heart-to-heart with his mom, Katie. He's settling into his new job at Forrester Creations and having fun with his girlfriend, Electra. But all is not well. Will confesses that Luna has been sending him flirtatious texts. It's giving him the kind of tension he didn't anticipate, but Luna definitely intended. Katie provides some words of wisdom, urging Will to use his head before jumping into anything. Luna and Electra's rivalry turns violent Later, things come to a head when Electra and Luna meet up at Il Giardino. What starts as a heated exchange soon turns into an altercation in public over Will. Just as things are going to turn violent, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) happens to arrive at the scene and interjects herself to halt the brawl. The incident leaves Sheila clearly frustrated, particularly after having counseled Luna to avoid getting into trouble. Watch The Bold and the Beautiful on CBS.
