Watch: Coast Guard Delivers Epic View of Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup Festivities
The Florida Panthers celebrated their second consecutive Stanley Cup victory with a vibrant parade along Fort Lauderdale Beach earlier this week. The event drew massive crowds to mark the occasion. A United States Coast Guard aircraft, however, may have stolen the show. They captured stunning aerial footage of the event, showcasing thousands of fans in Panthers' red and white packing the beach. 'What a day!' the team captioned a video posted on TikTok. And what a view, man. The parade, which began at noon and ended with a rally at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, was a lively spectacle under clear skies, a stark contrast to the previous year's rain-soaked celebration. Fans reveled in the festive atmosphere, with players like Matthew Tkachuk and Sergei Bobrovsky engaging with the crowd, even jumping into the ocean to cool off. The Florida Panthers Celebrate in Style Fans of the Florida Panthers celebrated the team's triumph over the Edmonton Oilers in six games in style. The Coast Guard's aerial view highlighted the sheer scale of the celebration, with thousands upon thousands of attendees filling the beach and spilling into the water. Players, including Sam Bennett and Aaron Ekblad, delivered memorable speeches, with Bennett's bold, unapologetic remarks and Ekblad's humorous nod to his teammate's antics going viral. 'A lot of people don't like the way we play. They call us dirty. They call us nasty. They call us bullies,' Bennett said in an NSFW speech. 'So I would like to take this time to apologize to absolutely (expletive) no one. We are the double champs. We do what the (expletive) we want. Let's go!' The crowd and his teammates roared with approval. (WARNING: Language) Ekblad hilariously told the crowd that his agent called and advised him, 'Don't say whatever Benny said.' RELATED: Back-to-Back Champs The Florida Panthers' back-to-back championships, fueled by standout performances like Sam Reinhart's four-goal Game 6, have solidified their dominance in the NHL. Bennett earned the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoffs' most valuable player, highlighted by his league-leading 15 postseason goals. He showed it off for fans at the parade. With their core roster largely intact, can the Panthers maintain their dominance and secure a historic third straight Stanley Cup in 2026? Report: Lloyd Howell charged NFLPA for strip club visits
The enhanced scrutiny focused on Lloyd Howell Jr.'s tenure as the NFL Players Association's executive director isn't going away, even after he resigned from the position. ESPN reported Friday afternoon that an union-hired outside investigation into Howell found he submitted expense reports charging the union for two visits to strip clubs. One report from November 2023 showed a charge of more than $700 for a car service that took Howell from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Tootsie's Cabaret – "the world's largest strip club spanning over 76,000 square feet," according to its website – in Miami Gardens around 10:30 p.m. Howell reportedly hired the driver to "wait seven hours outside" before taking Howell back home to Sunny Isles Beach at 6 a.m., according to a receipt, as reported by ESPN. NFL, NFLPA EXPLAINER: What to know about grievances, Lloyd Howell, next steps Earlier this year, Howell again traveled to a strip club on the union's dime, ESPN reported. This time, he and two employees visited Magic City in Atlanta as part of what the expense report called a "Player Engagement Event." He and the employees spent a reported $2,426 that night "including cash withdrawals, ranging from $200 to $525, from a club ATM," according to ESPN. One expense report requested a reimbursement of $736 for charges for "secluded sections for our Player Members" – ESPN noted that the NFLPA visitors used two "VIP rooms" at Magic City – as well as food and alcoholic beverages. The names of the "Player Members" were kept off the report. A former union employee reportedly told ESPN that strip clubs or other venues are not explicitly excluded from reimbursements. "But I don't think anyone in their right mind would think that is an optically good scenario," the employee went on to say. LLOYD HOWELL: NFLPA executive director resigns after multiple controversies Howell's strip club activities – and tendency to charge the company card for it – are reportedly not a new phenomenon. ESPN also reported that Howell had been investigated for a similar incident while at his prior employer, technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, in 2015. The sports media company wrote that Howell attended a strip club in New York City that year with a senior vice president of the company. When the senior VP submitted an expense report seeking reimbursement for the "thousands of dollars" the two had spent at the club, Booz Allen fired the VP and reprimanded Howell. The company promoted Howell to its chief financial officer position the following year. Howell resigned from his position as the executive director of the NFLPA Wednesday night after just over two years serving in the role. He said in a statement, "It's clear that my leadership has become a distraction to the important work the NFLPA advances every day. For this reason, I have informed the NFLPA Executive Committee that I am stepping down as Executive Director of the NFLPA and Chairman of the Board of NFL Players effective immediately. "I hope this will allow the NFLPA to maintain its focus on its player members ahead of the upcoming season." Browns' Quinshon Judkins missing start of camp after arrest: Source
The Cleveland Browns' rookies and quarterbacks have reported for training camp, but rookie running back Quinshon Judkins remains away from the Browns, a team source said Friday. Judkins, who's yet to sign his rookie contract, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on July 12 on charges of battery and domestic violence. He allegedly struck a woman with a closed fist on July 7, and the bruising was still visible to police when the woman reported the incident five days later, the police report said. Advertisement The Browns have had six of their seven draft picks signed since June. With the NFL continuing to investigate the incident and Judkins preparing his defense, the team is in no rush to finalize Judkins' contract or have him participate in football activities. The Browns' full-squad report date is July 22, with the first full training camp practice set for July 23. Judkins was released from jail on a $2,500 bond on July 13, and earlier this week, he canceled a public meet-and-greet and a youth football camp he was scheduled to host in Cleveland. It's not yet known if the team will add another running back to its 90-man offseason roster, though the Browns figure to make a series of moves and designations in the coming days ahead of the start of full camp. Judkins worked with the No. 1 and No. 2 offenses at various times during the spring. Cleveland drafted Judkins at No. 36 in April with the belief that he would fit its wide-zone run scheme and be a significant contributor during his rookie season. The NFL and the Browns have said little about Judkins' situation or playing status other than confirming that the league continues to investigate. Jerome Ford opens camp as Cleveland's No. 1 running back. Ford, who's in the final year of his rookie contract, took a pay cut this spring to essentially guarantee his roster spot. The other veteran in the running back room is Pierre Strong Jr., who's also only signed through 2025 and has mostly been a special teams player. Cleveland selected a second running back, Dylan Sampson, in the fourth round in April. The team also signed rookie Ahmani Marshall after the draft. In other Browns-related legal news, linebacker Devin Bush had his formal arraignment Friday in Pennsylvania on charges of simple assault and harassment stemming from a May incident involving Bush and his girlfriend. A pre-trial hearing for Bush has been set for August 15. Advertisement Bush, who signed a new one-year deal with Cleveland in March after starting 10 games last season, continued to participate in the team's offseason program after his arrest. Last August, Browns defensive tackle and 2024 second-round pick Mike Hall Jr. was arrested on a domestic violence charge. Hall practiced the next day and continued to participate in team activities until the end of the preseason, when he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list. Hall pleaded no contest to his charges last September and ultimately received a five-game NFL suspension that included time he'd already missed.

Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins won't report to training camp as he focuses on domestic-violence charge
: This article contains depictions of alleged domestic violence. Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins won't report to training camp Friday with the rest of the team's draft picks. Judkins, who is unsigned, was told by the team to focus on his legal situation after being arrested on a domestic-violence charge Saturday, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Judkins was arrested Saturday after he allegedly punched a woman in the chin/lip area, arm and thigh after they got off a flight at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The woman reported the alleged assault five days later because she "felt bad due to the recent success and career of the defendant," per the police report. The woman reportedly still had bruising in the areas in which she claimed she was hit by Judkins. While Judkins' contract situation prevents him from reporting to the Browns, the team seemingly is in no rush to get a deal done. Following Judkins' arrest, the team reportedly told him to focus on his legal situation, a sign its in no rush to get a deal done at this time. A number of 2025 second-round draft picks entered Monday unsigned. But with training camps approaching, players started putting pen to paper. San Francisco 49ers rookie Alfred Collins, Chicago Bears lineman Ozzy Trapilo and Los Angeles Chargers wideout Tre Harris are among the second-round picks to come to terms with their teams in recent days. All those deals helped set the market, leading to a domino effect from the other second rounders from the 2025 NFL Draft. Judkins may have been involved in that deluge of signings if not for his arrest. Judkins, 21, was taken by the Browns with the No. 36 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was expected to play a major role in the team's offense after former standout Nick Chubb left in the offseason. In his final season with Ohio State, Judkins ran for 1,060 yards and scored 14 rushing touchdowns, making him one of the best running-back prospects in the draft. The arrest complicates Judkins' NFL future, as he could face a suspension from the league before playing in his first NFL game. The NFL will likely wait until more information is released regarding the arrest before doling out possible punishment to Judkins.

Conor McGregor and fiancee Dee Devlin pack on the PDA in series of bizarre videos as he flaunts his luxury lifestyle amid 'cheating' and 'nudes' scandal
Conor McGregor showed off his immense wealth in a series of bizarre videos in which he and fiancee Dee Devlin continued to put on a united front amid his recent scandals. Taking to social media, the former UFC champion showed off the lush menu he and his long-term partner enjoyed. The 37-year-old captioned his media dump with the message, 'get with the program'. It comes after McGregor was captured smooching a mystery brunette in full view of fellow beachgoers in Fort Lauderdale. The Irish UFC fighter was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a racy leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger. The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cosied up to her by wrapping his arm around her back. McGregor has been engaged to long-time partner Devlin since August 2020, with the MMA star proposing while he celebrated his 32nd birthday in the south of France. But despite questions being raised over their relationship this week, McGregor and Devlin have portrayed the image of the most loved-up couple. Earlier on Thursday, McGregor posted an image on Instagram that showed a hand on his stomach, which donned a bracelet and pink nails - belonging to Devlin. Another photo showed the Irishman drinking from a glass, with two hands this time on him, with the left hand showing a watch and ring of Devlin. Devlin was at it again in McGregor's most recent post, rubbing the former fighter's stomach in one of the videos posed on social media. Devlin, who is the mother of McGregor's four children, had earlier made her feelings about the fighter known amid the swerling cheating rumours. Brushing off the recent furore around his behaviour, the MMA star took to Instagram to share a shirtless snap. Hours after sharing a heart-eyes emoji and a prayer emoji, she added: 'My monster.' McGregor has been at the centre of a public storm following the release of alleged nude photos of himself by rapper Azealia Banks, which she claimed the 37-year-old sent to her unprompted. Banks, who is known for getting into high-profile feuds on social media, posted two shocking photos seemingly of McGregor posing in the mirror while completely naked, which she alleges he sent to her via direct message on X despite not following him. As well as the alleged nude selfies, the screenshots also show a message from what appears to be McGregor's account reading: 'Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught.' Alongside one image which seemingly shows his manhood strapped to a dumbbell, the Irish fighter apparently wrote: 'Lifting weights.' Banks accompanied the photos she posted with the message: 'How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell,' she wrote alongside the screenshots. '@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM'. Banks then continued: 'Like how are you really going to sexually harrass me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain't u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f***ing sunscreen damn'.
