Find out why Landman star Ali Larter was seen with Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband
Ali Larter was spotted out in Los Angeles with Freddie Prinze Jr. this week. The two, both 49, each sported sunglasses as they smiled in the sunshine. The blonde Landman actress was clad in a green and red sundress. For his part, the She's All That actor was dressed in khaki trousers, a gray T-shirt, and matching sneakers. He was clean shaven while rocking his grizzled hair in a neat, short cut. Missing from the scene were their respective partners — Ali has been married to actor Hayes MacArthur since 2009, while Freddie wed Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Larter and Prinze Jr. were working together as co-stars in a forthcoming UberEATS commercial. Paramount+ renewed Ali's Landman series for a second season in March, with production kicking off in April. Larter portrays Angela Norris in the show, sex-crazed ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton's Tommy Norris. In character, she often films scantily clad in lingerie or a bathing suit, and has even gone topless for a sex scene on the hit program. In an interview with Good Morning America last year the actress talked about her role in the West Texas oil boom series. 'I get to work with an incredible cast and the entire crew is so gifted and talented that I just feel like I'm playing at the top of the game and so that's really exciting,' she gushed. 'And now to see the fans really love these characters and love the story that's unfolding is very exciting, because you never know when you're making something if it's gonna connect with an audience and this show obviously has,' she added. She also praised the show's creator Taylor Sheridan: 'I just think he's an incredible storyteller and he loves to write these dynamic women and that's very very fun to play.' Larter shares son Theodore Hayes MacArthur, 14, and daughter Vivienne Margaret MacArthur, 10, with husband Hayes. Freddie and longtime wife Sarah are also mom and dad to two children — daughter Charlotte Grace, 15, and son Rocky James, 12. Gellar and Prinze met on the set of 1999's I Know What You Did Last Summer and became Hollywood's 'it' couple shortly after. On the Scooby Doo star's March 8 birthday, Gellar paid tribute to him on Instagram, sharing throwback black and white images of them together. She wrote in the caption, 'Happy Birthday @realfreddieprinze. The world got very lucky the day you were born, but no one more so than me (and our children) I'm so glad I get to grow old with you…and that you will always have a head start!!'

'But She Is Dead.' Jennifer Kaytin Robinson Gets Real About The I Know What You Did Last Summer Conversation She Had With Sarah Michelle Gellar About Coming Back
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It's a good time to be a horror fan, as the genre has been thriving for years. Some of the best horror movies have returned with new sequels, and one of the most highly anticipated upcoming horror movies is the new I Know What You Did Last Summer. And director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson revealed a funny conversation she had with OG star Sarah Michelle Gellar about returning as Helen Shivers. The first trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer was just released, showing the return of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. as Julie and Ray respectively. It turns out that the director also wanted to bring back SMG, despite Helen dying in the first movie. While speaking with EW about the forthcoming sequel, she revealed how hard she tried to convince the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor. In her words: I mean the big one, I tried relentlessly, and she's dead. I tried, okay? I harassed her! But she is dead. I tried to pitch some crazy shit too. I was like, 'What if it's like you weren't dead and you're actually alive, but in hiding?' And Sarah's like, 'I was on ice. I was the most dead a person could be. You can see my frozen body.' I was like, 'Yeah, but what if?' And she said, 'I am dead. I am Sarah Dead Gellar.' How funny is that? While Sarah Michelle Gellar shared an early set photo from the new I Know What You Did Last Summer, she couldn't be convinced to return as Helen. The Dexter: Original Sin actress simply couldn't defend it considering how long the character has been dead and gone. Instead, she was happy to reunite with her former co-stars and support husband Freddie Prinze Jr. as he mad his third appearance as Ray Bronson. Sarah Michelle Gellar is a legendary scream queen, thanks to her tenure as Buffy and roles in IKWYDLS, Scream 2, and The Grudge. While Robinson couldn't convince her return as Helen, that character's grave was shown in the new sequel's trailer. As a reminder, you can check it out below: Of course, this conversation about Sarah Michelle Gellar has me thinking about another I Know What You Did Last Summer legacy charter that I've been wanting to see return: Brandy Norwood's Karla. Unlike Helen, she actually survived I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, so she'd make much more sense to bring back. The singer/actress expressed interest in reprising that role, with Brandy even confirming she was in talks. But since she's ben missing from the cast list and the trailer, I assume this isn't happening. I Know What You Did Last Summer will hit theaters on July 18th as part of the 2025 movie release list. Just don't expect to see a cameo by Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Forgotten 90s movie siren who starred opposite late Paul Walker is unrecognizable on rare outing
A 90s movie siren who starred in a hit romcom opposite the late Paul Walker was unrecognizable while running errands in Los Angeles. This actress portrayed a bookish high school student who becomes the subject of a cruel bet in the hit 1999 film She's All That, which starred Freddie Prinze Jr. and Walker. She also played a singer who is thrust into fame after unwittingly getting involved in a sinister plot to brainwash the youth of America in the 2001 musical comedy Josie and the Pussycats. Another notable role was in the 1995 coming of age film The Baby-Sitters Club. On Wednesday, the star channeled her She's All That role with smart black sunglasses as she did a spot of shopping at Costco and Home Goods in Burbank. Can you guess who this star is? It's Rachael Leigh Cook! The star cut an effortlessly chic figure in an all-white look consisting of a knitted tank top, jeans, and sneakers. She even rocked a flawless white manicure. The star carried her essentials inside a woven black bag as she trotted through the parking lot with her car keys in hand. With her eyewear on, Rachael looked straight out of her hit film She's All That, in which her character Laney Bosworth sported smart glasses. The movie was an instant hit in 1999. It is about a high school hotshot Zach Siler (Prinze Jr.) who is dumped by his cheerleader girlfriend, Taylor (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Desperate to revive his fading reputation, Siler agrees to a seemingly impossible challenge. He has six weeks to gain the trust of nerdy outcast Laney Boggs (Cook) -- and help her to become the school's next prom queen. Cook wore a crisp all-white look consisting of a knitted tank top and semi flared jeans Rachael was just 18 when she shot the film and considered it a 'great proxy experience' to student life due to her limited experience in 'real' high school. 'I remember thinking it was a great proxy experience having not gone to "real" high school for very long,' she told E! News in 2021. 'But the people in that movie, like Matt, Tamara Mello, who played one of my tormentors, and Freddie, I'm going to sound like a complete egghead, but I think of them as people I went to school with. 'I need them to be that for me and they don't have to agree. It's my reality. It was right around the time it would've been my real senior prom. And yeah, a fake prom would totally do!' Rachael appears in one of the most iconic scenes in the film which sees her unveiling her makeover as she ascends down a staircase in a red dress. But the star didn't stress over the weight of the scene prior to filming. 'I didn't give it a ton of thought frankly. Whenever things don't have a big page count, as a young actor, you don't give them a lot of bandwidth in terms of headspace or investment. 'I just thought, "OK, I just have to put this on and come down the stairs, do a little bit of dialogue and bond, not a problem. Let's do this." It just seemed like a fun scene. I had a lot more—not stress, but I probably put a lot more thought into the scene where I have to run away from a party and fall into gravel. It just had a little bit more punch.' She also praised her co-star Freddie. Rachael appears in one of the most iconic scenes in the film which sees her unveiling her makeover as she ascends down a staircase in a red dress The duo lost touch after filming She's All That but reconnected after Walker died in a car crash in 2013. 'He's just such a wonderful human,' she said of Freddie. 'I just love that guy. But I probably didn't talk to him again [after She's All That] until a couple of years after Paul [Walker, who co-starred] died and realized you really have to reach out and take some initiative. 'So we got coffee and I remember saying to him, "I know we never really hung out very much after the shoot, but you have no idea what a big part of my life this ended up being." And he said something very Freddie-like, "Me too, dude. It's crazy." But I'm so lucky that it's someone as charming and as lovely as Freddie to share that with. '

And with a gorgeous off the shoulder dress, paired with long earrings - she looked absolutely blooming. Rachel posted a few snaps on Instagram and her followers were quick to comment. "You look absolutely beautiful," said one fan. "Just beautiful," added another. A third said: "You're always my favorite. He/She's All that Psyche, and all those Hallmark shows." The film, She's All That, focused on a popular jock, Zack, (Freddie Prinze Jr.) trying to turn "nerdy girl" Laney (Rachael) into the prom queen after being dumped. The teen rom-com, while receiving mixed reviews from critics, quickly became a cult classic and is still beloved today. The plot followed: "Teen social media influencer Padgett's humiliating on-camera breakup goes viral, leading her to make a risky bet to save her reputation. "She swears she can turn scruffy antisocial Cameron [Tanner Buchanan] into prom king material. But things get complicated when she finds herself falling for him IRL." The movie starred Addison Rae, with its trailer unveiled on TikTok. Kourtney Kardashian also showed off her acting props, while Rachael herself snagged a starring role. Rachael played Anna, the mom of Addison Rae's main character, Padgett. The actress also appeared in the fifteenth season of Criminal Minds playing the role of Max in the final episodes of the series. Rachel owns her own production company, Ben's Sister Productions which she named after her younger brother. She produced and starred in the film Love, Guaranteed, which debuted on Netflix on September 3, 2020. Sadly, in 2021, Rachael and her ex-husband Daniel Gillies finalized their divorce two years after they split. A Los Angeles-based judge signed off on the divorce on March 10, 2021, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. The case was resolved in mediation, while the legal document detailed the exes' plans for their children and pets as they moved forward. 6 6 6
