Fulham explore deal for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder

Fulham are exploring a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from West London rivals Chelsea. Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea from Leicester City in a £30m deal last summer but has failed to earn a regular role in Enzo Maresca's plans. The 26-year-old started just twice in the Premier League last season, with the bulk of his minutes coming during the club's Europa Conference League campaign. Despite having worked with Maresca at Leicester, impressing during the club's promotion to the Premier League in 2023/24, Dewsbury-Hall has been unable to nail down a place in the Italian's team. Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Dewsbury-Hall but will consider suitable offers. Sky Sports are reporting that Fulham are exploring a potential deal, with both a loan and permanent move being assessed. The Cottagers will formalise their approach for Dewsbury-Hall if Chelsea's demands can be achieved. Fulham are yet to make a transfer during what has been a quiet summer for Marco Silva so far. Fulham are one of several sides who expressed interest in Dewsbury-Hall before his move to Chelsea, alongside Brighton. West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in the midfielder this summer. Read – See more – Follow The Football Faithful on Social Media: | | | |

Report – Iran Star Will Accept Inter Milan Departure After Underwhelming Season

Striker Mehdi Taremi will reportedly accept a departure from Inter Milan this summer after an underwhelming season at the club. Today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the Iranian will not dig in his heels and refuse a transfer. Mehdi Taremi joined Inter Milan last summer. He arrived on a free transfer after his contract with Porto had expired. However, things have just never quite worked out for Taremi at Inter. The 32-year-old scored just three goals in his first season in a Nerazzurri shirt. It would be an understatement to say that this was below expectations. Therefore, there have been persistent rumours that Taremi could be on his way out of the San Siro after just one season. Mehdi Taremi Will Accept Inter Milan Departure This Summer Inter Milan will want to sell Taremi this summer. There is little doubt about that. For starters, any transfer fee that the Nerazzurri were to receive for the Iranian would represent a tidy capital gain considering they signed him on a free transfer. And that could be reinvested. Then, Inter would be happy to offload Taremi's €6 million gross wages next season. The likes of Fulham and Besiktas are keen on signing Taremi. And according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Iranian international understands his situation. His performances last season did not warrant staying at Inter, and so a transfer away would be best for him. Therefore, Taremi will accept a move to a club where he can try and turn things around.
