GMA Gala 2025 teaser video featured in LED billboard along EDSA Guadalupe
GMA Gala 2025 is just around the corner! On social media, Sparkle GMA Artist Center shared a clip of a teaser video for the upcoming GMA Gala featured in an LED billboard along EDSA-Guadalupe. "WE'RE OUT HERE LIGHTIN' UP EDSA LIKE IT'S OUR OWN RED CARPET!" Sparkle wrote in the caption. The teaser showcased the glamorous attendees of GMA Gala 2024, including Kapuso Royal Couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, Heart Evangelista, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, and many more. The GMA Gala is returning for its fourth year and it will be held on August 2. The star-studded event is a fundraising affair in support of the GMA Kapuso Foundation, gathering celebrities and showbiz personalities for an evening of charity, camaraderie, and celebration. At the pre-GMA Gala 2025 dinner on July 24, GMA Network donated a total of P2.5 million to the Kapuso Foundation. The funds raised at the pre-gala dinner and the gala night itself will be utilized for the foundation's relief operations to help those who have been affected by the recent typhoons and Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, Alden Richards expressed his excitement for the gala. "Ready na yung suit natin for that. This is one for the books and medyo inaabangan na talaga. Talagang most of it, 'yung bonding talaga with my co-actors in GMA," said the Asia's Multimedia Star. Jillian Ward, for her part, will be going for classic and timeless for her gown this year, which also marks her 15th anniversary in the showbiz industry. "Gusto ko na 'pag ipapa-frame ko 'yung picture ko eh 10 to 20 years makikita ko na parang, 'Uy, pwede ko pa rin isuot 'yung gown na 'yan," she said. Raheel Bhyria is also done with his gala preparations and shared that he can't wait to reunite with his "Mga Batang Riles" co-stars. GMA Gala 2025 is just a month away and Kapuso celebrities are busy with preparations for the big event. In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, several stars shared what to watch for in their outfits at this year's gala. Julie Anne San Jose teased that she'll be going for something "classic but sophisticated." "Every year naman talaga kailangan. 'Yun na muna 'yung description para pag ano na, pasabog 'di ba?" Gabbi Garcia and Andrea Torres, for their part, will be trying something new in their outfits. "I've never worn this color for gala ever, so medyo hindi ako black and white this year kasi most of the time neutrals ako, so abangan nila kung ano ba 'yung kulay na susuotin ko," said Gabbi. "Meron na kaming idea, pero ginagawa pa lang 'yung damit. Excited ako for it kasi gusto naming medyo maiba naman ako dun sa mga napakita namin last three years na nag gala tayo," Andrea also shared. . Kyline Alcantara shared that her gown at this year's gala will be extravagant: "It's gonna be something else, promise, I'm so excited for all of you to see it 'cause I'm just so proud of my team that they saw this dress and there, I bought it." As for Shuvee Etrata, she and her team are still finishing her look. Meanwhile, if Kylie Padilla went for sexy in her number last year, she said that this year's will be "hotter" and in a different color. Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, cannot decide yet if she wants to go for a demure or a sexy look this year. "Para sa'kin mas excited lang po talaga ako for the night itself, excited po talaga ako is makita 'yung mga kaibigan ko sa industry," she said. "Feisty" is the word that Sofia Pablo used to describe her gala look this year, while Elle Villanueva gown will be designed by her uncle, who is based in Dubai. "Very big thing 'to sa amin dahil napakagaling niyang designer so 'yun 'yung pinaka excited ako," said Elle. GMA Gala 2025 will be held on August 2 and is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marks its 75th anniversary this year.
