VfB Stuttgart's Enzo Millot appears headed to Galatasaray

reports that VfB Stuttgart attacker Enzo Millot is set to join his former Bundesliga colleague Leroy Sané at Galatasaray. Sport Bild reported on interest in Millot from the Turkish champions earlier in the day, but noted that Galatasaray might have problems financing the move and that there had been no contact between the two clubs. Kicker cites its own sources to claim that there has indeed been contact. Moreover, Kicker also cites Turkish sources indicating that Millot and the Süper Lig outfit have agreed to personal terms. Millot's departure from Swabia via a release clause in his current contract essentially counted as a given this summer. At one point, Arsenal were interested. Reports on the actual amount of Millot's release clause vary. Sport Bild and others speak of a €20m sum whilst Kicker references a figure in the €16m-€18m range. In any event, Germany's Württemberger will likely gladly accept the revenue as a means of helping them finance some of their own incoming transfers. Regrettably for Stuttgart, Millot maintains an estimated market value high above his release clause. The Frenchman is presently valued at €34m, albeit less than the peak of €42m he attained in the midst of an excellent first half of the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign. GGFN |

Galatasaray Head Coach Delivers Major Transfer Update On Inter Milan Midfielder: 'President Wants Him Here'

Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk insists the Turkish champions haven't withdrawn from the race for Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu. Speaking to BeIN Sports via FCInterNews, Buruk confirmed the club's overwhelming desire to sign the 31-year-old. Despite falling behind Fenerbahce in the pecking order, the reigning Super Lig holders remain keen on Calhanoglu. Indeed, Buruk's men are reluctant to concede defeat just yet. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce have intensified talks with the player's agent as they look to wrap the deal up in the coming hours. However, Fenerbahce's aggressive approach has not deterred Galatasaray from making a late bid. Instead, the Rams Park outfit may try to hijack Calhanoglu's transfer to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium at the 11th hour. As for Inter, their hands seem tied as the Turkish midfielder undoubtedly wants to leave. (Photo by) Time is ticking away, but Galatasaray haven't lost hope of signing Hakan Calhanoglu. Indeed, they have been preoccupied with other transfer dealings. After landing Leroy Sane, they went to great lengths to re-sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Now that the Nigerian is on the verge of returning to Istanbul, Galatasaray can turn back to Calhanoglu. 'This is the wish of our president, and it's our intention as well. In reality, we're trying to move forward position by position,' Buruk stated. 'We quickly finalized Leroy Sané. Victor Osimhen was very important to confirm, and his transfer is almost complete. 'Once that is finalized, the goalkeeper's transfer will be particularly important for us. 'We need to make decisions on other positions as we go along. The most important thing, of course, is to have a budget. 'We allocated a very significant budget for Osimhen, and we have to make decisions based on the remaining budget. 'Here, you can ask for a lot – you can ask for players in every position – but the budget is very important. We have to use it wisely.'

Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour are set to wave goodbye to one of their Napoli teammates this summer after the Italian giants reached an agreement with Galatasaray for the £65million sale of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen over the weekend. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old hitman gave the Serie A giants a 'clear sign' that he wants to join the Turkish club this summer, having enjoyed a goal-laden spell in the Super Lig last season, scoring 26 goals following his arrival at the club on loan last August. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Out-of-favour at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium since the arrival of head coach Antonio Conte last summer, Osimhen rejected a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League a year ago in order to join the Turkish giants, and went on to play a massive role in helping Okan Buruk's secure a domestic double, scoring twice against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Cup final. Scott McTominay has flourished under Antonio Conte at Napoli last season - meaning the Serie A giants didn't feel the loss of Victor Osimhen. | Getty Images His departure from the Serie A giants did not harm his parent club though, with the McTominay-inspired Napoli winning the Scudetto for the first time since 2023, which has paved the way for a permanent exit for the forward this summer. However, despite Osimhen's 'clear desire' to return to Galatasaray, it was reported that Napoli had rejected four offers from the Turkish champions for theNigerian over the summer, before finally accepting a deal worth around £65million over the weekend. Conte has been linked with a £50million move for Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez recently, having already added Manchester City icon Kevin DeBruyne, Noa Lang and Sam Beukema to his squad this summer. However, despite rejecting multiple offers for Osimhen, reports of a strained dynamic between Conte and the 26-year-old meant he was never likely to return to Naples ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Writing on his official X account, Romano wrote: 'Galatasaray and Napoli are now checking and proceeding with all formal documents for Victor Osimhen deal. He's been clear since day one of the window: only Galatasaray. No chance for other clubs.' The 19-year-old forward was subject of big money bids from Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town in January having impressed on loan to EFL Championship side Middlesbrough last season, but is hoping to play a part at Anfield this coming season, despite reported interest from AFC Bournemouth, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Everton, PSV Eindhoven and Nottingham Forest.

Report – Fenerbahce Ready To Meet Inter Milan Asking Price For Standout Midfielder

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly willing to spend big to lure Hakan Calhanoglu away from Inter Milan. According to La Repubblica via FCInter1908, the Canaries are planning to submit a €30 million bid for the star midfielder. In contrast to recent reports, Fenerbahce could pay Inter's asking price in full. Indeed, earlier indications suggested Jose Mourinho's side would only offer up to €20m. However, after reportedly agreeing on personal terms with the player, they're ready to lift their offer. Fenerbahce Willing to Pay €30m for Inter Milan Stalwart Hakan Calhanoglu Hakan Calhanoglu has allegedly promised to join Fenerbahce. Indeed, he made that pledge during a phone call with club president Ali Koc. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce's bitter rivals Galatasaray have reignited their interest in the 31-year-old. However, Calhanoglu's desire to work with Mourinho puts the Canaries in pole position. For now, they must agree terms with the playmaker. That should not be an issue, considering they're ready to offer him €6m net per season plus bonuses.

Álvaro Morata set for yet another transfer

Spanish international Álvaro Morata is set to be on the move once more over the weeks ahead. That's according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Serie A outfit Como as the frontman's impending landing spot. Morata is for his part currently in the midst of a loan spell away from parent club AC Milan. After joining the Rossoneri in the summer of 2024, the 32-year-old lasted just six months, before departing on a year-long loan to Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray. With Gala on the verge of closing a deal for Napoli standout Victor Osimhen, however, Morata will soon find himself surplus to requirements in Istanbul. In turn, it should not come as a major surprise to hear of the experienced goalscorer preparing for yet another new chapter in his career. As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano: 'Álvaro Morata, now set to join Como from Galatasaray as soon as all documents for Osimhen deal will be signed next week. Morata has been waiting for Como for one month… and now, all set.' Conor Laird – GSFN
