Forget AirPods, Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro Are Practically Free After 50% Price Cut With Trade-In
As much as you love your current wireless earbuds, they may never be more useful to you than they are right now. That has nothing to do with their features or their sound, but everything to do with how they can help you upgrade into Samsung's newest and best buds, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Your old buds can work toward the $125 trade-in credit that Samsung's offering right now, which would bring you the Galaxy Buds3 Pro for just $125 — half the original price. Even if you have some unusual attachment to your current device, or decide they're better served as a hand-me-down, Samsung's still opening the door for you to get in on the AI-powered features of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, with a $60 discount that doesn't require a trade-in of any kind. That would reduce the price to a still-solid $190, or $60 less than Apple's AirPods Pro 2. See at Samsung Adaptive Sound Just for You Galaxy AI is the big selling point of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, and if you're wondering how artificial intelligence works with wireless earbuds, it's all about customization. Noise cancellation has been a desired feature in earbuds and headphones for a long time now, but with Galaxy AI, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro automatically adapt to the noise level of your surroundings, and also intelligently leave you enough external sound so you're aware of what's going on around you. It's the best and safest form of noise cancellation available. The Adaptive Equalizer feature of the Buds3 Pro is also driven by Galaxy AI. The buds base their sound delivery on the way you wear them. They actually adjust their own sound profile based on your ear shape and how snugly they sit in your ear. Power of the Galaxy When you pair the Galaxy Buds3 Pro with a Samsung Galaxy Phone, like one from the Galaxy S25 fleet, you're in for an amazing treat. Using the power of the Galaxy Phone's translator, you can have face to face conversations translated in real time. Someone speaking a different language will come through the Galaxy Buds3 Pro in English or whatever language you set it to. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro the latest and most advanced earbuds in the Samsung family, having dropped less than a year ago. You might expect a higher starting price than the $250 the Galaxy Buds3 Pro are currently listed at, but the current instant trade-in credit deal that brings them all the way down to $125 is a stunner, and the $190 price without trade-in is definitely not shabby at all. Check it out now at Samsung and have your old devices handy to see how low you can go with instant trade-in credit. See at Samsung

OnePlus unveils its AI strategy, revamps Alert slider to a customisable Plus Key with AI Plus Mind
After a long wait, OnePlus on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) unveiled its AI strategy which we will going to see in its future products that goes by the name of OnePlus AI. The Chinese smartphone maker has joined the league of players like Samsung (Galaxy AI) and Motorola (Moto ai) with a dedicated name to their own version of artificial intelligence. The OnePlus AI will be rolled out in the upcoming compact flagship smartphone OnePlus 13s on June 5. It will also have a dedicated hardware button, which is customisable, known as Plus Key to access the OnePlus AI. Similar to what Nothing introduced with Phone 3a series. OnePlus plans rollout this across all OnePlus smartphones launching this year. However, OnePlus did not have to add an additional button for it. Rather, it's much known Alert slider has been revamped as Plus Key. 'As an evolution of the iconic OnePlus Alert Slider, the Plus Key is a customisable button programmable for various actions like switching sound profiles, launching the camera, initiating translation, or starting recordings.' The Plus Key also activates AI Plus Mind, a new feature to quickly save, catalogue, and recall key information found on the screen. Users can save schedules, event details, reservations, or listings by pressing the Plus Key or swiping up with three fingers. AI Plus Mind will save the relevant on-screen content to a dedicated Mind Space, an accessible location. (For top technology news of the day, subscribe to our tech newsletter Today's Cache) 'AI Plus Mind uses AI to analyse content contextually. It can extract schedule details from an image or text and add them directly to the user's calendar. AI Search, integrated with AI Plus Mind, supports natural language queries for retrieval of saved content. Later this year, AI Plus Mind will also automatically categorise saved content for better organisation,' said OnePlus. AI Plus Mind will also debut on the OnePlus 13s and become available on the rest of the OnePlus 13 series via a future software update, with wider rollout plans for other devices to follow. Soon, Gemini will work across OxygenOS apps, such as OnePlus Notes, Clock and more as well as Google's apps. With Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing, users will have real time conversations about what is captured by their camera and what is on their phone screen. On data and privacy, OnePlus said it prioritises on-device processing within a trusted environment. 'When more intensive computation is required, the company's Private Computing Cloud provides a secure, encrypted environment for data processing, designed to keep user data private and inaccessible to unauthorized parties. This is achieved through a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) that spans the user's device, the cloud servers, and the data transfer process itself.' With the hybrid approach, OnePlus ensures user privacy remains protected, it added.

Free Samsung Galaxy S25 phone for all who upgrade their smart TV
The tech company is dishing out one of their latest phones completely free with their new Samsung TVs. Earlier this year, Samsung released their brand new Galaxy S25 in one of the most anticipated smartphone releases of 2025. But, as with all the latest tech, the phone doesn't come cheap. The S25 costs a whopping £799 but, in a surprise deal, Samsung is now dishing them out for completely free. But of course, there is a catch as the free S25 is only available when buying one of Samsung's new premium TVs. So for those who were planning on updating their TV anyway, this deal is unmissable. Along with the free S25 - which features a powerful processor, long battery life, great camera and Galaxy AI - there's also 20 per cent off the price of 2025 TVs using the code SPRING. And the deals don't end there, as Samsung will even give shoppers up to £500 cash back for those who purchase certain models. The Express has shared some of the deals available now: Samsung 65-inch Neo QLED QN800DPRICE: £2,599DEAL: Get a free S25, 20% plus cash back Samsung 65-inch Neo QLED QN900FPRICE: £3,399DEAL: Get a free S25, 20% plus cash back Samsung 85-inch Neo QLED QN990F 8KPRICE: £4,999DEAL: Get a free S25, 20% plus cash back SEE THE OFFERS HERE All of these new screens get improved picture quality, better sound, faster processors and the ability to upscale lower resolution content. Some also come with glare-free panels, a wireless box which gets rid of the clutter of cables and a solar powered remote. They are also better for gamers and even reduce motion blur when watching the weekend's football action. Of course, even with the deals and free phone, these are very expensive TVs. Those browsing cheaper offers from other retailers may opt for Amazon's Fire TV, currently under £170. Argos are also dishing out displays for less than £200. But the Samsung 65-inch Neo QLed QN800D has seen incredible reviews from credible sources. Review website Trusted Reviews gave it a full five-star rating, saying: "An 8K TV that delivers a superb picture performance for an LCD TV, the Samsung QN800D with the help of AI, looks outstanding with a range of content. Do consider a sound system to give audio a boost." However, some aren't fans of Samsung's TVs. On Amazon, a review of a previously released Samsung smart TV said: "Worked great for 1 year and 2 weeks. Then, it spontaneously turned off and will not turn back on. Standby light is on but when I turn on the TV, the One Connect box will click a couple of times like it's turning off and on, then the Standby light comes back on, indicating the TV is off. I used to love Samsung TVs, it was all I'd buy. "Now though, the last 2 that I've bought have died immediately after warranty expiration. So, I guess I'm going to find another brand because these are too expensive to waste money on such poor quality." But a happier customer shared on Amazon: "I absolutely love this tv. I went to Best Buy to browse TV's for a client and instantly from across the store this Samsung QLED 8k TV stood out with such a beautiful resolution and HD quality, it made every other television on display look like poor quality." The Samsung TVs can be browsed here. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today.
