Tom Brady powdered my ass on Patriots sideline: ‘It was embarrassing'
Mark this as yet another example of Tom Brady's hatred for sweaty centers. During an appearance on the 'Games with Names' podcast with Julian Edelman, former Patriots lineman Ted Karras recalled a wild story of a time Brady dried off his behind during a game. 'Tom takes all the centers to the side. If you're going to play center at any point, even just an undrafted guy, he'll teach you how to fold [your towel] and put it into your ass,' Karras said. '… I was on Tom's team and apparently too wet for him. He literally pulls me off to the sideline, screams in my face that I'm a sweaty pig. 3 Former Patriots center had a hilarious story about Tom Brady's hatred for wet centers on Julian Edelman's 'Games with Names' podcast. Games with Names podcast/X 'And then pulls my pants out and powders my ass with baby powder in front of everyone.' Karras admitted he had no choice but to listen to his Hall of Fame quarterback. 'I was kind of embarrassed. I mean, all the fans were looking, like 15,000 people at Gillette Stadium. But I would always just do whatever he said,' Karras said. Karras is far from the first ball snapper to dish on Brady's troubles with wet backsides when trying to throw the ball downfield. 3 New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) points to Benjamin Watson (84) after a play during the first half of an NFL football game against the New York Jets, Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, in East Rutherford, N.J. AP In 2019, Dan Connolly, who played center with Brady in New England for six seasons, told The Athletic that the quarterback stuck a towel down his pants after wiping the sweat wasn't working. 'He literally stood behind me, took his hand, and stuck the towel down my pants,' Connolly told the outlet. 'I walked around that game, feeling like I was carrying a loaded diaper the entire time. It was the most uncomfortable thing, but he was so crazy about not getting his hands wet that he would stuff s— down our pants.' 3 New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady under center in the 2nd quarter against the Jets in 2019. ''First you fold the towel once, then over its self again. Put it down your crack and douse in baby powder. No more ass sweat.' –@TomBrady #sweatmetigation101,' Jensen tweeted in May 2020.

What does it mean to be the head coach of the Boston Celtics?
What does it mean to be the head coach of the Boston Celtics? With famous greats like Red Auerbach, Bill Russell, Tommy Heinsohn, Bill Fitch, K.C. Jones, and Doc Rivers having held such a post to name just some of the legendary names helming the Celtics over the years, it is a certain level of rarified air to even be in the same conversation with names like these. And now current Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla is among them with a title to his name as coach of the Celtics, so the Rhode Island native knows something about the answer to that question. The man himself took a stab at answering it on a recent episode from fellow New England sports legend Julian Edelman's "Games with Names" podcast, Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what Mazzulla had to say about what it means to coach the Celtics.

What is it like in an NBA locker room at halftime? Fans of the Boston Celtics have likely often wondered how it goes for their favorite team under head coach Joe Mazzulla. Or does he take a different tack with his players when there is a game on the line at the halfway point of the contest? Ice Cube shares honest thoughts on Tom Brady joining Raiders ownership
Let's get a meeting on the books Tom🤝 The rap legend and unofficial president of Raider Nation, Ice Cube, is embracing the Las Vegas Raiders' new minority owner, former seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady. It's never a bad thing to be associated with the greatest winner in NFL history, even if his actual contributions remain a mystery. No one expects Brady to be in the actual trenches working to turn the Raiders' franchise around, but he should be around for a suggestion or two if the team needs it. "I mean Tom, I think he's a winner. I don't know how much he really can do, you know? But add a lot of suggestions to the suggestion box," Cube said in a recent social media upload from Games with Names. It's worth noting that the New England Patriots are slated to host their season-opener against the Las Vegas Raiders in Foxborough on September 7. That will come nearly a full month after Brady's statue is scheduled to be unveiled outside of Gillette Stadium. There could be more camera cuts to the press box than a Taylor Swift-attended Kansas City Chiefs game for that matchup. Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook.
