General Authority for Exhibitions discusses strengthening cooperation with Turkey

The Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions, Essam Al-Aoul, has held several meetings in the Turkish city of Bursa to enhance bilateral cooperation and stimulate exhibition activity and trade exchange between the two countries. The meetings included the Mayor of Yenişehir, the Director of the Bursa Exhibition Center, the Turkish Companies Coalition, the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry, and a group of Turkish businessmen interested in investing and exporting to the Libyan market. The General Authority for Exhibitions explained that the meetings focused on organizing joint trade fairs between the two countries to enhance partnership opportunities between the public and private sectors. It was also agreed to hold an "Agricultural Technology Exhibition," which will serve as a platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing the latest innovations in this vital field, serving Libya's agricultural development plans. The General Authority added that the Turkish side affirmed its full support for these initiatives and its readiness to provide technical and logistical facilities. Libya to host first e-payment forum as CBL pushes digital finance

According to officials, the forum aims to showcase cutting-edge digital payment technologies, encourage financial inclusion, and support the digital transformation of Libya's banking sector. The three-day event will feature panel discussions and workshops addressing challenges in the e-payment landscape, alongside solutions aligned with global standards for financial security and efficiency. The initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize Libya's financial infrastructure and stimulate innovation in the sector, in hopes of contributing to long-term economic stability.
