After Aaron Rodgers left the New York Jets a few months ago following a devastating season, there were constant speculations over which team he would end up joining. While Aaron Rodgers might be a part of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the contract details have not been revealed yet but NFL insider, Gerry Dulac, has revealed a few interesting things about the deal. Fanboys out there acting like we're getting prime A. Rodgers. So, I think that one thing that changed for me, at least when we were still in each other's lives, was when we grow up, we think our parents are Superman and Superwoman and they can do no wrong.' The NFL veteran added, 'And then you get older and you realize they're just like you and I, just out there trying to do their best…So the resentment that I had at times…He was just trying to do the best he could…' In the last few weeks, the NFL veteran has been brutally trolled as he chose to remain a free agent even when all other players were signing new deals. Insider: Steelers all in on QB in 2026 NFL Draft — but not 2025
Insider: Steelers all in on QB in 2026 NFL Draft — but not 2025 According to insider Gerry Dulac, the Pittsburgh Steelers will soon look to draft their quarterback of the future — just not in 2025. Dulac, who recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show, stated that trading up in the 2026 NFL Draft for a quarterback is far more likely to be the team's long-term strategy: 'Rich, I firmly believe that they are all in on quarterback in 2026 based on what I hear and what I've been told. They will have extra draft capital next year, between all the comp picks they will get — the third- and fourth-round picks they will get. I believe that's when they will make a deal to get an extra number two.' The Steelers insider elaborated that Pittsburgh could then use the additional premium draft capital to move up and acquire one of 2026's top quarterback prospects. Dulac has consistently shot down the idea of the Steelers drafting a quarterback in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft — and if what he's heard about 2026 is accurate, the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh could be the perfect opportunity to select their franchise quarterback.
