Israel strikes military HQ in Damascus after warning Syria to stay out of Sweida
In this episode of W News, presented by Jono Hayes, we report on Israel striking the Syrian military headquarters in Damascus, after warning the Syrian government to stay away from the Druze minority in Sweida. Syrian government forces had entered the Druze-majority city in southern Syria to oversee a ceasefire agreed with local Druze leaders, following deadly clashes between Druze fighters and Bedouin tribes.
