I was on it a whole decade ago, so I would've been in my early 20s and I'm a different human now. 'So I would do the trials differently. But I'd just go in and be myself, and that's the only thing you can do.' She continued: 'I'm not sure about smashing the trials, but I'd give them my best shot. But as I've gotten older my fear levels have gone up. I can't even get on rollercoasters now.' Scarlett told us: 'Do you know what - and this is Scott's pet peeve - I Google the ending of everything. 'Like psychological thrillers and all that, I'll Google it to see who it is. But I'll also do it with rom-coms, in case I need to mentally prepare for a dramatic scene. I don't tell him I've done it, but I'll tell him I've Googled it.' Scarlett also discussed watching police dramas with her policeman fiance Scott. 'I do not watch any police programmes with Scott because he goes into work mode and I'm like, no watching telly is about switching off,' Scarlett shared, adding: 'He'll say things like 'well if I was doing it…' and I'm like 'no, no, it's not you.'' A new poll of 2,000 UK adults has revealed the top television bugbears that drive Brits mad - and it's likely we're all guilty of some of them If you've ever found your patience tested by a chatty companion or a remote-control hog during a night in front of the telly, you're not alone. A new survey of 2,000 UK adults has revealed the country's biggest television pet peeves - including people who fire off endless queries about the show, constantly flicking between channels, and perhaps most infuriatingly of all, accidentally revealing major plot twists. The study, commissioned by M&M'S to mark the debut of its "It's More Fun Together" campaign, discovered that 24 per cent of Brits become irritated when their sofa companions munch snacks too noisily, whilst 21 per cent grow frustrated with those who keep the sound turned down too low. However, it appears many of us are guilty of these TV ourselves. A quarter of participants confessed they are a nightmare to watch television with, admitting to constantly firing off questions during programmes. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show. All the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. For 40 per cent of these question-askers, it's simply a case of trying to understand a tricky plot point, but 31 per cent owned up to not paying enough attention. Despite the occasional irritation, watching television together remains a strong way to connect. A third (33 per cent) of those surveyed said a night in front of the telly with friends is just as enjoyable as doing an activity together. To celebrate these quirks, M&M'S hosted a "Couch Confessions" pop-up in London, with TV-loving celebrities Sam Thompson and Scarlett Moffatt. Reality TV Star, Scarlett Moffatt, said: "TV nights at home are my love language, chaotic, full of theme-tune singalongs and subtitle debates. "But hunkering down on the couch with Scott and Jude is what makes it so special. "I love the little quirks that turn ordinary nights into unforgettable family moments, because watching together is always more fun, even if Jude is the remote-control-king nowadays." The survey also revealed what would make group TV viewing even better. One in five (20 per cent) would love snack bowls that perfectly divide portions between people, while 19 per cent dream of a family-sized footstool so everyone can put their feet up. Fifteen per cent wish there were a device that sets the TV at the 'perfect' volume. Guests at the M&M'S pop-up got to try out some of these solutions, along with scavenger hunts for TV snacks. The immersive experience also paid homage to the nation's favourite ways to watch TV together, with themed rooms inspired by the modern British living room. When it comes to dream TV companions, Brits would most like to watch with David Attenborough, Ant and Dec, and Olivia Colman. TV Personality & Radio Host, Sam Thompson, added: "I'm all about turning TV nights into a proper event with bean bags, onesies, volume up and a stash of snacks. "It's my favourite time to just hang out with mates, even if it takes us an hour to agree on what to watch and someone always falls asleep halfway through." Gogglebox fans all say same thing as Jenny shares photo of rarely-seen husband
Gogglebox icon Jenny Newby and her bestie Lee Riley left fans stunned when they shared a photo of her rarely seen husband to mark the couple's 50th wedding anniversary Viewer of the hit Channel 4 show Gogglebox were left stunned after fan favourite Jenny Newby offered a rare glimpse of her husband, Ray. Jenny - who celebrated her 70th birthday earlier this year - and Lee Riley both joined the beloved show back in 2014, and it didn't take too long for them to become firm favourites. Over the years, the Hull-based duo, who have been best friends for over 25 years, have had Gogglebox viewers in stitches thanks to their hilarious one-liners and strong bond. Away from the show, Lee enjoys a loving relationship with partner Steve, whilst Jenny has been married to husband Ray for 50 years. And earlier this week, Lee left their fans shocked after he shared a rare snap of the pair the Manchester Evening News reports. Taking to their joint Instagram account, Lee revealed it was Jenny and Ray's 50th wedding anniversary, sharing a photo of the couple from their special day in 1976. Along with the throwback snap, the caption read: "Wishing my sidekick Jenny and Ray a happy 50th golden wedding anniversary who gets the medal." Fans were quick to rush to the comment section to congratulate the couple. Some supporters gushed over the photo, however, many become fixated on Ray's impressive sideburns. One fan hilariously declared: "Ray should get a medal for those sideburns alone. Epic." Another fan agreed, writing: "Was thinking the same." A third then chimed in: "Jeez them sideburns have a life of their own." Echoing their thoughts, someone else jokingly wrote: "Bloody hell, look at those side burns. You could ski down them." While others opted for a simple "congratulations" message, with a fifth fan writing: "Happy Anniversary Jenny And Ray. Have a day full of fun and laughter, which am sure with you Jenny it will be." Lee and Jenny have been friends since 1994, when they first met at the pub where Jenny was a landlady. Previously speaking about how they met, Jenny shared with Ireland's Big Issue magazine: "Lee was a customer at my pub, The Crown Inn in Paull. He became a regular in 1994 and used to come in pretty much every night with his partner and we were friends from the off. We've been best friends ever since." Lee added: "I wish I've never gone in the pub – it cost me a fortune. When I first met her she had a perm and I can remember thinking, 'She needs a haircut'. We were firm friends immediately." "I don't think we've ever had an argument. We're too placid to argue. She makes me laugh too much for me to ever fall out with her."
