X Factor's Aiden Grimshaw unrecognisable 15 years since appearing on show
Aiden Grimshaw, who appeared on The X Factor back in 2010, looks completely unrecognisable now, 15 years since he wowed the judges on the popular ITV talent show Aiden Grimshaw is barely recognisable 15 years since appearing on The X Factor alongside One Direction. The fresh-faced hopeful captivated the celebrity judges on Simon Cowell's TV talent show back in 2010, when he boldly covered Kanye West's smash hit Gold Digger in his audition, without a backing track. Louis Walsh branded the then-18 year old "absolutely brilliant", Nicole Scherzinger said "I love your voice" and Simon Cowell added, "You're one of the best we've found, certainly in Manchester and possibly – in your category – throughout the competition." Progressing week by week not only with 1D but also Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel, Cher Lloyd, and eventual victor Matt Cardle, gap-year student Aiden secured a respectable ninth position. Following his X Factor stint, Aiden signed a deal with record label RCA, releasing his debut single Is This Love, which peaked at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. He then dropped his album Misty Eye, hitting number 19. In 2018, Aiden revealed he'd been using the alias Butterjack to release music, only to then steer back to his original name. In 2023 it was announced that he'd signed a new deal with a Dutch record label. Aiden now looks so different from his clean-shaven, quiff-haired X Factor days, often sporting a beard on his Instagram page and most recently appearing with a moustache and tousled hair. A week ago, he talked about writing more songs, alongside a picture of himself playing a guitar. The singer told his 19k followers: "Back to it, 20 consecutive days of sun. 13 days of coughs. 6 songs written - Nearly 2 bank holidays. 1 europa final loss. A fresh bill of health a new month - new music exciting new things. Mays been a ride." Aiden has also opened up about his regrets of not fully capitalising on the opportunity The X Factor presented him with back in the day. Speaking to the Metro, he shared his reflections, saying: "My only regrets about the show are that maybe didn't shoot as hard as I could have in some of the aspects afterwards because of trying to be cool. Now, I would just go for everything because why would you not do that? That's so stupid. But I enjoyed it." He also talked about the pressure of the show, continuing: "'There was a lot of pressure to find what to do and my not wanting to be uncool stopped me from exploring all paths and being out there." Aiden was romantically linked to Cher Lloyd during his time on The X Factor, and talked about his bromance with Matt Cardle. The pair were said to spend all their time in the house chatting and making each other cups of tea. Aiden said: "Matt and me are really good mates, he's a great bloke. We've got a really great bromance going on."

Hunter, the Jaguars' newly drafted offense/defence specialist, put a bow on what many would consider a fantastic month by tying the knot to his longtime girlfriend. Hunter, 22, and De La Fuente, 23, began their love story when they met at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia, and it continued throughout his 3-year college stint in Colorado. It didn't take long for them to seal the deal after their engagement in February 2024. Along with her very expensive rock on her finger, Hunter wasn't done blessing his now wife with gifts. Videos of the wide receiver and cornerback unveiling a black Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Brabus 800, worth more than $200,000, as a gift to his bride, went viral on X, formerly Twitter timelines. Other clips show Hunter with his new wife celebrating their nuptials, and another of him dancing with his bride while flashing the biggest grin on the planet. But with the bliss, of course, comes the unnecessary vitriol of the man just being happy to be married. ' travis hunter actually married that girl *laughing emojis,' one post on X read. Another hating ass comment read, ' Bag Secured. Look at that GRIN on him. #TravisHunter got the stripper a ring AND a G-Wagon just to show everyone he's all in on her. What could possibly go wrong?' Someone on Instagram went as far as to write Kanye West, also known as Ye, entire verse from 'Gold Digger' under a post. Some came to the defense of the newly married couple. Exactly. Kim Kardashian seems to have reached her limit with Kanye West, who has often taken a dig at the media personality and their kids. The rapper, who had been married to the All's Fair actress from 2014 to 2022, made derogatory statements about his ex-wife in a Twitch live stream amid the ongoing custody battle. In his clip, West went on to say, "I'mma go get these kids, bro.' He further stated, "I'm talking to the lawyers.' Slamming his hands on the table angrily, the rapper continued to say, "It gets to the point where I don't lose my f**kin' mind where I got to get used to not seeing my kids." As for Kardashian, the reality TV star is afraid that the rapper might not bring the kids back to her if she lets them meet their father. Sources' Statements In conversation with sources close to the actress-businesswoman explained, "Kanye's erratic behavior has caused things to seriously deteriorate.' They further claimed, "At this point, Kim is afraid to let him take the kids out of her sight for fear he won't bring them back. She doesn't trust him." According to the previous media reports, Kardashian cut short her daughter North West 's meeting with West after she learned about the presence of s*x offenders, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate, at the meeting place. Further in their talks with the outlet, an insider revealed, "Kanye's angry outbursts are making her a nervous wreck, and she's afraid of what he'll do next.' They continued, "Kim will do what she has to in order to keep her kids safe, and she doesn't care how much it costs.' Kanye West's Controversial Tactics Kim is also worried, as Kanye has been struggling with his mental health and yet denied having any sort of issues in the public domain. During one of the podcast appearances in February, the Gold Digger crooner shared that his bipolar disorder was a "mistake" and that he had no longer been taking medications. In the last few months, the rapper has been making headlines for his bizarre comments. US musician John Legend has admitted he's 'sad' to have witnessed the very public fall from grace of his former friend and collaborator Kanye West. The 47-year-old rapper, who now goes by the name Ye, has displayed erratic behaviour and made controversial social media posts, including some of an antisemitic nature, in recent years. Legend, 46, was among the first artists Ye signed to his Good Music label in the early 2000s, and the rapper was an executive producer on his 2004 debut album, Get Lifted. Speaking in a new interview, Legend, known for his solo hits and collaborations with Sam Smith and Ariana Grande, reflected: 'Back then, Kanye was very passionate, very gifted, and he had big dreams not only for himself but also for all the people around him.' 'He had so much optimism, so much creativity,' he added to The Times. 'It does feel sad, sometimes shocking, to see where he is now.' Earlier in the year, calls were made to X owner Elon Musk to remove Ye from the social media platform over a string of offensive tweets. In 2018, the Gold Digger hitmaker also gave an explosive interview to US outlet TMZ where he said slavery 'sounds like a choice'.
