Ghaziabad: Cops in the city have unveiled a commissionerate courts monitoring system (CCMS), a digital platform that promises to streamline court proceedings and enhance transparency in legal processes. The system, developed under the supervision of police commissioner J Ravinder Goud, will offer real-time access to court information and updates on the status of cases. "This digital initiative represents a fundamental shift in how we manage court cases. After a month of rigorous development and training, we're here to offer this service to the public, making legal processes more accessible and transparent," Goud told TOI. The CCMS portal, officials said, would enable users to access court-related information remotely through their electronic devices. For law enforcement, the system provides live tracking capabilities across various sections, ensuring efficient case management and precise monitoring of hearing schedules. Harish Rao, Madhusudana Chary ridicule rival parties' attempts to weaken BRS
HYDERABAD Senior leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former minister T. Harish Rao has condemned the comments of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud that he (Harish) had met BJP MP Eatala Rajender and termed them as 'cheap'. In a statement, Mr. Rao said the TPCC chief was playing such cheap politics unable to take on him directly and by doing so he was treading the unethical path of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy by indulging in mudslinging on political opponents. He made it clear that except for coming across in weddings or funerals he had never met any leader of other parties or those who left BRS. 'I always practice politics with values unlike your cheap tactics for political mileage', he said and suggested Mr. Goud to stop such allegations and act in tune with his (Goud's) status and also focus on fulfilling six guarantees and 420 promises made at the time of elections. Separately, BRS MLC and former Speaker of the Assembly S. Madhusudana Chary condemned the misinformation campaign of the rival parties against BRS that it was planning to merge with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated that in combined Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) came into being against the Congress and K. Chandrasekhar Rao had floated BRS (TRS) to fight for the existence of Telangana against both Congress and TDP. Stating that KCR had achieved Statehood for Telangana despite adverse political conditions and opposition from strong leaderships such as Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and N. Chandrababu Naidu and developed Telangana as a model State. However, the rival parties were conspiring to weaken BRS, unknowing that the party has the backing of Telangana masses despite its defeat in the elections. On the internal political development of BRS he said he was aware of all and any decision would be taken by party chief KCR. As part of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations in Telangana Bhavan, Mr. Harish Rao would give a powerpoint presentation on the Kaleshwaram project on June 2.

Nagam diluted PRLIS case after joining BRS: TPCC president Mahesh
HYDERABAD: TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday came down heavily on BRS working president KT Rama Rao for claiming that the Supreme Court had vindicated the BRS' stance that it had done nothing wrong in the execution of the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS). Speaking to the media here, Goud said that the BRS leader should bear in mind that Nagam Janardhan Reddy had filed the petition when he was in the Congress. The BRS, after admitting him into the party later, had the case diluted which led to the apex court dismissing the petition. 'How can Nagam Janardhan Reddy fight against KCR while continuing in the BRS?' he wondered. Goud also slammed Rama Rao for calling the BRS regime the 'golden period' of Telangana and mocked his claim that there was no corruption at any point during that time. Further, the TPCC chief challenged Rama Rao on whether he could write a letter to the chief minister demanding a CID or judicial probe into the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, as he was alleging no corruption took place in its execution. 'Let him do that. Then facts will come out as to how corruption had taken place,' he said.

PCC chief challenges KTR's claims on PRLI scheme court verdict
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud has strongly countered BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao's claims that the Supreme Court has given a clean chit on the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, and accused him of misleading the public and trying to cover up past corruption. Responding to KTR's claims, Mr Mahesh Goud reminded that it was Nagam Janardhan Reddy, then a Congress leader, who had filed the case against irregularities in the scheme. 'With full evidence, he exposed the misdeeds in the project. Later, he was taken into the BRS party, and the case was diluted deliberately,' Mr. Goud alleged. Questioning the moral integrity of the BRS leadership, he asked, 'How can someone who filed a case against K. Chandrasekhar Rao be welcomed into the same party? Is that not a ploy to bury the case?' Mr. Goud challenged the BRS working president to write to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, demanding a thorough investigation into the allegations. 'Let the State government decide whether it should be a CID probe or a judicial inquiry. If KTR truly believes he is honest, he should come forward and welcome the investigation,' he asserted. Only a full and independent probe would reveal the truth about the Palamuru-Rangareddy scheme and expose the alleged corruption, he claimed, adding that the BRS leadership cannot escape scrutiny by twisting court verdicts. 'We will not rest until the truth is brought before the people,' he affirmed.

Criminal cases against 4 VDC members for illegal auction of toddy, liquor vends in Adilabad
Hyderabad: In yet another instance of the growing menace of the so-called ' village development committees ' (VDCs), Adilabad police have booked cases against four persons for allegedly resorting to extortion. In Ankoli village of Adilabad Rural, VDC members on Sunday organised an auction for permitting the sale of toddy and an unlicensed liquor shop in the village. In the illegal auction , the VDC members received 3 lakh for permitting a toddy shop and 3.90 lakh for an unlicensed liquor shop to be set up. With the Adilabad district police administration directing local police to take stern action against the illegally operating VDCs, which are resorting to extortions, a case was booked against four persons, Kanaka Ramanayya, Erram Prabhakar, Erram Ashok, and Etikala Bhumanna. "We understand that there were more persons involved in this and will bring in their names also into the case once they are identified," an officer at the Adilabad Rural police station told TOI on Monday. Cases were booked on Sunday under the Section 308 clause B of the BNS, which might get the guilty punishment of up to five years. Police said that as of now, the cases were booked, and after due investigation, those named would be arrested and prosecuted as per the law. Earlier, cases had been registered in Boath, Ichoda, Jainath, and Bela police stations against the so-called VDCs for imposing their rules in the village and permitting shops in bidding and auction. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ative o software antivírus do seu computador Clique aqui Undo The Adilabad police on Friday said five cases have been registered so far against VDCs in Bela, Jainath, Boath, and Ichoda police station limits. The cases involve VDCs attempting to resolve civil disputes and extorting money from tractor owners transporting sand. On April 30, a VDC member, Bhuma Reddy, was booked in Jainath for extortion. In April, the Goud community in Tallarampur in Nizamabad district had rebelled against the VDC, which demanded that they pay a certain amount of money for tapping toddy. The community, while refusing to pay, said hardly anyone was tapping toddy but also pointed out that the trees were on their own land and questioned why they had to pay money to the VDC. In retaliation, the VDC allegedly asked other villagers not to 'cooperate' with the Goud community and have no dealings with them. Some supporters of the VDC members then approached police, saying that the charges of excommunicating the Goud community were false.
