Adelaide Crows SANFL player Blake Drury and Central District's Aiden Grace serve secret bans after ‘hot mic' incident

A second Adelaide Crows footballer in as many days has been found to have been banned over sexually inappropriate behaviour towards a woman. Blake Drury, a SANFL-listed player who is hoping for an AFL lifeline in Wednesday night's mid-season draft, was caught in a 'hot mic' moment following a recent promotional shoot. Drury, 21, was in conversation with Central District vice-captain Aiden Grace, 27, during a break in recording for a shoot to promote the recent representative clash between SANFL and WAFL players. Two of the state league's most recognisable names, the pair did not realise the camera was rolling when they made sexually explicit remarks about a female SANFL staff member in the room. It was the victim herself who later discovered the comments, which are too vulgar to report. Drury and Grace have already served bans that had been kept secret until now. The SANFL told 7NEWS that both Drury and Grace were punished over what it described it as 'unacceptable conduct'. '(The league) immediately investigated and addressed the matter, with both players sanctioned,' it said. The players were mysteriously withdrawn from the SA team that faced WA on May 17, and 7NEWS can now reveal the SANFL quietly hit them with one-game suspensions. Drury and Grace have since sent written apologies to the woman involved and have received education around respect for woman. 'We were extremely disappointed by the inappropriate comments made by the players and continue to provide support to our staff member impacted,' the SANFL told 7NEWS in a statement. Adelaide released a statement to 7NEWS on Wednesday night, saying they're extremely disappointed and angered by Drury's actions. Drury spent two years on North Melbourne's AFL list, playing 10 games across 2023-24, before joining Adelaide's SANFL side for this year. He nominated for the AFL mid-season draft taking place on Wednesday night. The new scandal comes just days after it was revealed another Adelaide player sent a photo of a woman without her consent to a former teammate earlier this year. 'It had been addressed. What we addressed was that it's unacceptable, it's not who we are,' Crows AFL coach Matthew Nicks said. Drury and the unnamed Crows player involved in the earlier incident received bans from the club.

All Hollyoaks spoilers for next week as two major legends return

Hollyoaks serves the drama next week, as confirmed in my new spoilers, as the aftermath of the exploitation story sends shockwaves through the village – with the mother of all comebacks at the centre of it all. After a decade of wishing, hoping and praying, fans get their wish in the form of a comeback for Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix), who returns from the dead in must-see scenes. The incomparable soap schemer has somehow evaded death once more and boy are we glad she has. Estranged sibling Grace Black (Tamara Wall), like the viewers, wants answers about how her sister is – you know – alive. Patience, Grace. Patience. Answers are on their way! Another twist to the tale is that Clare is the secret wife of DI Banks (Drew Cain), who was leading the child exploitation operation in the village and in the wake of the operation in question having been exposed, villagers want answers, which provides for high-octane scenes aplenty. And Clare isn't the only comeback on the cards next week, with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) back for more – and this time he and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) manage to cross paths. Talk about jam-packed! For a full breakdown of what's to come, I've got you covered. Reunions, confessions and tears are aplenty in the wake of the events which unfolded on screens this week. Grace is left reeling in the aftermath of her reunion with Clare, who had been presumed dead for over a decade. The estranged siblings get up to speed over a catch up and a dangerous alliance is forged between the two. Clare asks Grace for help in accomplishing her one goal, which is getting her hands on cash – cash which is currently in Diane's possession – and fleeing the country with her family. Over at the police station, a number of villagers are demanding answers in the wake of discovering the exploitation plot and what Frankie, Dillon and Vicky have been subjected to. Donny is on the case and, with a fatality now confirmed, there are questions aplenty. Nancy, meanwhile, is shell-shocked in the wake of the devastating events. And she's not the only one, with Sienna getting wind of the fact that granddaughter Tori was in the custody of DI Banks. At the hospital, Ste receives urgent news from Misbah about Lucas, who has just undergone brain surgery. Elsewhere, one resident saves himself with a selfless act while a previous client has unfinished business. It's business as usual for some of our villagers but for others moving forward is much more difficult. Mercedes is worried about Freddie and, while searching his memory box, she locates the letter Warren wrote for her previously – the one Freddie intercepted. Wanting answers, the former pub landlady resolves to confront her beau. Later, she waits on the city walls as she reunites with Warren Fox. But just how will this long-awaited reunion go down? Elsewhere, Sienna is determined to find out the truth, vowing to locate her granddaughter. A murder probe gets fully underway as the police investigate the shock death. More Trending Warren is left reeling to discover Mercedes' bowel cancer diagnosis as he desperately tries to remind her of their past. Sienna, meanwhile, is hopeful that she can find out more about Victoria and thus heads to see Donny at the station. But while there, she makes a chilling discovery. One resident regains consciousness in hospital but his condition is overshadowed by anger. Stewartry property in running to be named Scotland's Home of the Year

Craigmount near Dalbeattie is through to next week's final after winning Monday's episode. A Stewartry property is in the running to be named Scotland's Home of the Year. ‌ Craigmount near Dalbeattie won the south of Scotland episode of the popular BBC Scotland show. ‌ And that means it will go on to Monday's final. Craigmount is home to retired couple Robert and Laura Osborne, their daughter Grace and Ethel the pug. They bought the house, which offers stunning views of the Solway coast, in 2017 but have only loved there for 18 months since following renovation work. And it was daughter Grace who secretly entered the house – built in 1897 – into the competition as her late gran loved Scotland's home of the year. Laura said: 'Our favourite thing about Craigmount is the view we get to wake up to every day. Our favourite feature in Craigmount is the original exterior granite wall which we made into an interior feature wall. We added surround lighting which shows off the sparkle in the granite stone. It's quite spectacular at nighttime. ‌ 'The view was one of the design inspirations as we wanted to utilise it as much as possible in our design. We did this by adding Velux windows and adding a wraparound extension. We wanted to get a sea view from as many rooms possible.' As well as a house in Peebles, they faced competition on Monday's programme from a Dumfries townhouse which has been home to Fiona Lee and husband Ben for more than seven years. ‌ Craigmount got the nod from judges Anna Campbell Jones, Banjo Beale and Danny Campbell. It now faces competition from five other homes from across Scotland to land the ultimate accolade and be named Scotland's Home of the Year. ‌ Architect Danny Campbell said: 'This year's finalists are an eclectic celebration of design adventures — bold, heartfelt, and unapologetically individual. Each home tells a story of its owner's passions, priorities and aesthetic DNA, from slick architectural statements to soulful reimagining of traditional spaces. 'The finale is always a head-spin - equal parts tension and celebration. Viewers can expect impassioned debates, inspiring interior insights and that brilliant moment where we finally agree on a winner.' Scotland's Home of the Year is made by IWC Media (a Banijay UK company) for BBC Scotland. The episode featuring the Dumfries and Galloway homes is available on iPlayer. The grand final will be shown at 8.30pm on BBC One Scotland on Monday, June 2.
