While 298 complaints related to the way Blu spoke to Toni and 55 complaints were about Megan returning to the villa. There were also 29 complaints related to concerns for Harry after seeing him upset following his breakup with Helena and disclosing his feelings for Shakira. But the majority came from viewers who were left furious at the way Shakira had been treated by some of her fellow Islanders. It's now the second most complained about Love Island week in history - the first was season seven when Faye Winter kicked off after Casa Amor with total of 29,101 in just one week. Just yesterday fans claimed that Shakira had been left 'broken' from 'abusive' behaviour in the infamous ITV2 villa. On Love Island, concerned viewers have tuned in to watch the effects of a love triangle unfold. Footballer Harry Cooksley was seemingly happy and was closed off in an exclusive couple with Helena Ford. Shakira then ended her own partnership with Conor Phillips as she admitted that she had 'suppressed emotions' over Harry. The islanders were then shown a damning clip at the Grafties award ceremony that caused major drama. Both of the pair broke down in tears at several points in the episode as droves of fans took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in a rage, suggesting they should make complaints to Ofcom. A second stated: "Never thought I'd do an ofcom complaint in my life and now I've done 2 in one week." While someone else wrote: "'I've got goosebumps' when it's Cach crying but 'Right back at ya' when it's Shakira. "And she had to go to the f****** mental health/care team. Na I'm reporting Meg to ofcom. I've had enough." Last week fans saw Shakira break down in floods of tears as she ended her romance with Conor and admitted she wanted to leave. Meanwhile, Meg and Helena have come under fire for "bullying" some of the girls and have been branded "mean girls". This week, he has seen himself come under fire for failing to back his friend Harry when his antics were exposed in the Grafties as well as for stirring up endless trouble during the latest show challenge in which the Islanders were forced to reveal exactly what they thought about one another. At the end of the latest episode, the public vote opened once again with fans able to vote for their favourite couples. It led many to quip that this was the chance to get Dejon out in order to ensure he does not make the finals. Commenting on X, one fan said: "I'm really hoping that the UK didn't let us down!!! "Get Meg and Dejon off our screen nowwwww i beg you!!" A second then said: "UNITED KINGDOM PLEASE GET DEJON AND MEG OUT!!!! THEY'RE SO INSUFFERABLE." Dejon then continued to take the brunt of the comments with another penning: "GET DEJON OUT." A fourth added: "Dejon…love your way out of my villa. Love Island has been hit with a huge number of Ofcom complaints following scenes with Shakira. The ITV2 show is reaching its crescendo, with the final just days away. Angry fans fumed to broadcasting regulator Ofcom over the scenes, where they said Islanders were bullying Shakira. A total of 9,339 complaints were made to Ofcom in this vein whilst a further 298 were made about the way Blu spoke to Toni. Elsewhere, there were 55 complaints about Megan returning to the villa and a further 29 complaints expressing their concern for Harry following his breakup with Helena and opening up about his feelings for Shakira. It comes after Harry's weird fetish on the show had fans left feeling disgusted for a very specific reason. The heartbreaking scenes aired last week and earlier this week when both Helena and Shakira broke down as they were played and pitted against one another. The Grafties returned to the villa and there was even more heartbreak in store. Shakira had decided to end things with Conor as she had "suppressed emotions" over Harry, whilst in the video clips, Harry was seen flirting with Shakira and said it was a "good idea" for them to get to know one another. Harry later told Conor that he just felt a friendly connection with Helena and his bond with Shakira was far more "natural". Both women struggled to watch the scenes and broke down multiple times as they learned the truth. Following the Grafties, Harry and Shakira decided to speak, with him telling her: "I have really tried with her [Helena], but we had like a week and it was, for me, the feelings were obviously way stronger and still are. I'm sorry I never like tried again. I really thought the door was just, like, slammed." "Do you want some home truths… it's obviously the way you go about it and the steps you take in between to come to these conclusions obviously hurt people along the way," she told him. "It's all well and good you saying 'hold my hands up guys, sorry' but you still hurt people. And it's a pattern." Harry then said: "Look, I'm either leaving here alone or with you." Love Island returns this evening and the final will air next week, as the public decide who they want to crown champions. There will be multiple dumpings before then, as the remaining Islanders get whittled down ahead of the final.
