Father and son killed in Huntsville house fire
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Officials said two people were killed in a fire in Huntsville. HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster says Huntsville Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire on Retlaw Street around 2:53 p.m. Tuesday. Webster said fire crews discovered two people dead on the scene. Huntsville Police confirmed that it was an almost two-year-old baby and the baby's father, a 21-year-old man, killed in the fire. Man in critical condition after early morning crash in Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A man is in critical condition after an early morning crash in Huntsville. HPD: One injured after a possible domestic incident in Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department says a woman received minor injuries Monday night after what police are calling a possible domestic incident. HPD said officers responded to the 3500 block of Box Canyon Road Monday night for a possible domestic incident in progress. Decatur City Council unanimously approves hire of deputy chief after adding position A department spokesperson said that initial details indicate that a 'juvenile offender' possibly assaulted their mother with a knife. HPD said the victim in the case received minor injuries in the incident and declined medical treatment by HEMSI on the scene. The department said the special victims unit is investigating the incident. According to HPD, information is limited at this time as the investigation is still in its early stages.
