War 2 teaser triggers backlash after Pakistan's Independence day mention
Hrithik Roshan's biceps are out. Jr NTR is locked and loaded. Kiara Advani makes a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance. And yet, the loudest thing to come out of the War 2 teaser? A date. Yep. A date has launched a digital war. The Movie War 2 is Coming this Independence DayBut the Date given on the Trailer of the Movie is 14th August which is Independence Day of Pakistan Another Example that Bollywood Loves Pakistan! The teaser dropped like a cinematic bomb, packed with everything a spy thriller should have, explosions, swag, cryptic one-liners, and that signature HRX intensity. It even opens with a dramatic 'This Independence Day' title card, setting the tone for patriotic feels. And then, BOOM: 14 August flashes on the screen. Cue record scratch. Whose Independence day War 2 team is celebrating on August 14th? For context, 14 August is not India's Independence Day. It is Pakistan's. You can imagine what happened next. Social media imploded. 'Whose Independence Day are you celebrating?' one confused user questioned, while another claimed Bollywood has entered its 'love letter to Pakistan' era. Others dragged the release strategy, calling it 'a total marketing blunder' and even 'insensitive.' Netizens react Some fans were genuinely baffled: 'Since when did India become independent on 14th August?' Others were just done: 'Someone please tell Hrithik this is India, not Pakistan.' Oof. And it is not like the teaser was dull, Hrithik Roshan is in top-tier spy shape, Kiara's look turned heads, and Jr NTR's presence promises serious fireworks. Still, all of that got buried under a tsunami of memes and sarcastic digs. War 2 is celebrating pakistani independence day @yrf thuuu pakistani na kodaka 🤬Aug 14 evari independence day raa pooka @yrf War 2 To add salt to the cinematic wound, many viewers were already missing Tiger Shroff from the first War. Now with the date drama? The comparisons and complaints are flowing faster than Kiara's slo-mo hair flip. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the sixth film in YRF's expanding Spy Universe. Hrithik reprises his role as Kabir, the brooding superspy, and this time he faces off against Jr NTR in what is being hyped as the most explosive face-off yet. But right now, the real explosion is happening on social feeds, not on screen. Whether this was a clever marketing ploy or a case of someone at YRF forgetting to check a calendar, it has overshadowed everything else in the teaser. Moral of the story? In a film all about timing, even one wrong date can trigger an international-level plot twist.

War 2 teaser sparks fan fury after release date lands on Pakistan's Independence Day: ‘Kya celebrate kar rahe hai?'
Yash Raj Films just dropped the teaser for War 2, and while it had all the ingredients of a blockbuster — high-octane action, ripped bodies, dramatic one-liners, and the return of Hrithik Roshan in full HRX mode — the thing that truly exploded online wasn't a stunt. It was the release date. The trailer begins with a dramatic declaration: 'This Independence Day', setting the stage for a grand release. But seconds later, the date flashes across the screen — 14th August. That's right. 14th August. Not India's Independence Day (which falls on 15th August), but Pakistan's. The contradiction was quick to ignite a comment war. One user nailed the inconsistency: 'Ye 14 August Ko Kiska Independence Day he???🤔🤔'. Another chimed in, 'First of all, they didn't even praise Indian soldiers on the recent mission, and now making a patriotic movie releasing on the most memorable date of the enemy country,y symbolising strength. Wow, bollywood sucks as always!' The confusion and outrage snowballed into dozens of sharply worded comments across social platforms. 'Independence Day on 14th will surely create a new debate war.' Another user pointed out, 'Releasing on 14th August and teaser shows this Independence Day, whose Independence Day?' The sarcasm and disbelief didn't stop there. 'Bollywood and its love affair with Pakistan.' Another viewer asked, '14th August kiska independence bhai.' One more comment echoed the sentiment: 'Since when did India become independent on 14th August? Whose Independence Day is Bollywood celebrating?' Another comment asked, 'This Independence day bolke 14th August ko release kar rahe he movie waah 😂😂 koi batao inhe pakistan nhi india he yeh.' One more read, 'On whose Independence Day your releasing the Movie, India or Pakistan? India's Independence Day is on 15th August. Details Matter Mister @hrithikroshan! Forget the day focus on Date!' It's the kind of facepalm detail that overshadows even the juiciest parts of the teaser — and there were plenty. Kiara Advani's cameo in the teaser had many starstruck, while Hrithik's bicep has once again stolen the show, and fans are both confused and intrigued by the Jr NTR–HRX pairing. A chunk of the audience clearly misses Tiger Shroff, with comparisons already flying. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe and a direct sequel to 2019's War. Hrithik Roshan returns as super-spy Kabir, and this time, he'll go head-to-head with Jr NTR in what's being teased as an 'epic battle.' But for now, the biggest battle seems to be online — and it's all thanks to a date. Whether it was a mistake, a marketing gimmick, or just a really poor oversight, the internet isn't forgiving. After all, in a movie pushing patriotism, releasing on your neighbour's independence day while calling it your own? Yeah, that's going to trigger people.

Meet Hrithik Roshan's friend who helped him build company generating over Rs 1000 crore revenue, his name is… Success Story: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest actors of the Indian film industry. Because of his looks and muscular physic, he is often termed as 'the Greek god'. Most of his movies performed pretty well on the box office and people love to see him on screen. But do you know there's another side of the actor's success story that doesn't get enough limelight. The actor owns a booming Rs 1000 crore business – HRX, India's homegrown fitness brand. Hrithik and his friend Afsar Zaidi are the founders of HRX. Lets know Afsar's success story. Afsar Zaidi is not just the co-founder or CEO of HRX but also the brain behind the success of the brand. We can say that Hrithik Roshan is the face of brand and Afsar is the brain behind it. From Normal Job To Bollywood's Go-To Business Whisperer Earlier, Afsar was just another ambitious professional doing normal 9-5 job. He started his career at Globosport India Private Limited. But he soon realised that he cannot work under anyone. In 2005, he founded Carving Dream which was a talent management company that later transformed into Exceed Entertainment. He later pitched Exceed to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and the actor signed the deal within a minute. Zaidi is turning celebs into business powerhouse. HRX – The Beginning Afsar and Hrithik founded HRX in 2013, when homegrown fitness brand were a foreign concept in India. He gambled and partnered with E-commerce platform Myntra. Soon te gamble paidoff and HRX churned out Rs 350 crore turnover in its first year itself. Zaidi later joined hands with Saif Ali Khan and launched – The House of Pataudi, the brand that brings royal and Nawabi style to everyone. Hrithik Roshan and Afsar Zaidi's Unmatched Bonding Hrithik and Afsar share more than just a business connection — their bond is rooted in trust, shared goals, and a deeper understanding beyond the glamour. While Hrithik adds star power and inspiration, Zaidi takes care of the behind-the-scenes operations, making sure everything runs smoothly. Meanwhile, Hrithik is working on his next big release – War 2 where he'll again live his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. His business HRX is also booming behind the silver screen thanks to his friend Afsar Zaidi. At a time when many celebrity brands feel like just showpieces, HRX stands out as a real success. It's genuine, inspiring, and highly profitable, largely because of Afsar Zaidi's hard work. He's changed the role of a manager in Bollywood—becoming more of a mentor, planner, and true business partner.
