Ryanair flight to Greece has TikTok divided as plane passengers fume over ‘disrespectful' in-flight PDA act
When it comes to flying, there is an unspoken courtesy that most, not all, but most people adhere to so that the trip is enjoyable despite the lack of leg room. TikTok's latest in-flight drama does not involve crying babies or a drunk passenger; it involves two loved-up travellers, one Ryanair aisle, and a whole lot of public affection. TikTok user Harry Marjoram was heading to Greece when he found himself across the aisle from a sight he and his partner won't forget. In a now-viral video, Harry's partner, described as Slavic and 'not a fan of PDA', was seated next to a couple putting on a four-hour performance of the high-altitude variety. 'When my Slavic girlfriend, who hates PDA, meets the PDA Final Boss on a 4-hour flight to Greece,' he wrote in the caption, alongside photos of the amorous pair. The woman is seen straddling her partner's lap, facing toward Harry's girlfriend with her feet tucked casually onto the seat. 'Nothing beats a Ryanair holiday!' he added. The couple's face was blurred, but their positioning spoke volumes, and not everyone was on board. While some commenters saw nothing but a pair of travellers madly in love. 'I only see a couple in love', one user wrote. 'I always sleep on my boyfriend the whole way somewhere, and if you have a problem, I will shove my foot up ur face,' one user defended, whilst also helpfully illustrating the issue. Another insisted, 'If you could be comfy, you would too'. However, others were far less charmed but the pair's behaviour and the majority of the 10 million viewers weren't feeling the love. 'This is so disgusting and disrespectful,' one user commented. 'I would pay extra to sit next to a screaming baby rather than risk this,' said another. And perhaps the most telling comment, 'Where are the Karens when you need them?!'. Some noted that they were fine with a handhold or a peck, but a full body snuggle session mid-flight when you are already shoulder to shoulder with others for an extended amount of time, maybe not. It's unclear whether flight attendants intervened or quietly looked the other way, but the internet's verdict was clear: love is in the air.

Travellers fuming over couple's ‘disrespectful' act on plane
Everyone has a preference when it comes to flying. For me, it's always an aisle seat if I get to choose. But, what you don't get to choose is who you're sitting next to. Unfortunately for this person, it's about the worst possible answer. 'PDA Final Boss' TikTok user Harry Marjoram has taken to the app to expose some travellers on a flight to Greece. While he's on the other side of the aisle, his girlfriend has been seated next to a couple who's taking PDA to the next level. 'When my Slavic girlfriend, who hates PDA, meets the PDA Final Boss on a 4-hour flight to Greece, for the entire flight!!' he wrote. 'Nothing beats a Ryanair holiday!' In the photos provided, Harry kept the travellers' identities anonymous. But, you can see a woman sitting on her male partner's lap with her feet on the seat, facing towards the poster's girlfriend. 'I only see a couple in love' Some commenters were quick to defend the couple, saying they, too, would act like this on a flight – and have every right to. 'Everyone hating but I only see a couple in love,' said one commenter. 'I genuinely don't see what's wrong with this, people wanna get comfy on airplanes and as long as they're not doing anything inappropriate I think it's fine,' another agreed. 'I always sleep on my boyfriend the whole way somewhere, and if you've a problem I will shove my foot up ur face. Grow up … if you could be comfy you would too,' a third shared. 'Where are the Karens when you need them?!' However, the vast majority of the video's almost 10 million viewers were on the poster's side, calling the act 'disgusting and disrespectful'. 'Where are the Karens when you need them?!' one person asked. 'This is so disgusting and disrespectful,' another said. 'I like acceptable PDA (hold hands, quick kisses, hugs, like the normal stuff), but this? Yeah HELL nah,' said another. ' … and people complain about crying babies. I'd pay extra to be next to a child rather than risk this,' another commenter said.
