Michelle Keegan shares a sneak peek of baby daughter Palma - two months after giving birth
Michelle Keegan shared a rare sneak peek of her baby daughter Palma on Tuesday, two months after giving birth. The actress, 37, who shares her first child with her husband Mark Wright, uploaded an update to her Instagram Story. Sharing an adorable black and white photo of Palma's feet, she wrote: 'Yep... my toes.' Michelle and Mark have been enjoying their time as parents and have been sharing small glimpses of Palma on their social media accounts. The couple will also no doubt be jetting off to their favourite holiday spot of Mallorca this summer with their baby girl. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It's believed the couple chose the name Palma because of their strong links to Mallorca, which has been their go-to holiday destination for years and the setting for their pregnancy reveal photoshoot. Michelle married Mark in May 2015 and the couple live together in a £3.5 million Essex mansion they built from scratch. Chatting with his best friend and fellow dad Olly Murs on his Heart Breakfast show, TOWIE star Mark recalled the moment he first held his newborn daughter in his arms. Mark fought back emotions as he said: 'Mate, it's actually hard to put into words. 'It's the biggest achievement of my life it's all I think about but obviously, hats go off to my wife she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.' Sharing his appreciation for Michelle, he added: 'It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through. 'It's the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.' Recalling the first moment he held Palma, he continued: 'That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it.' Mark added: 'I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. 'It's a very special feeling. I can't really put it into words. We've waited a little bit of time, we've chased our dreams and our careers and now we're here. We've got a baby.' Before Cannes, Michelle showed her support for high street brands as she hit her local town on Wednesday to stock up on some family essentials. The new mum, who welcomed baby daughter Palma in March, teamed a pinstripe blue shirt with a pair of cream drawstring trousers and sandals. Michelle was joined by her mum Jacqueline as they stocked up at the Essex branch of Marks & Spencer before stopping by Boots. The actress juggled two huge bags as she had a low-key stroll around town, going unnoticed by fellow shoppers. It's no wonder Michelle is a fan of M&S, seeing as her husband Mark Wright is a brand ambassador for the British institution, which is still dealing with the aftermath of a massive cyber-attack.

This Morning host says ITV has changed long-standing clothing rule after decades
This Morning host Rochelle Humes has shared her happiness after ITV bosses made a long-standing rule change. Former Saturdays singer Humes is one of the daytime series' rotating list of presenters alongside Ben Shephard, Cat Deeley, Dermot O'Leary, Alison Hammond, Sian Welby and Craig Doyle. Humes has revealed that all the hosts have been following a dress code that has been closely monitored since her first appearance alongside her husband, the JLS star Marvin Humes, in August 2013. It turns out that bosses have always instructed This Morning hosts to opt for smartwear, meaning jeans is an item of clothing that has been off the table – however, all that's changed, with denim trousers now permitted. Humes, 35, wasted no time in utilising the rule change, opting for a pair of River Island jean in Wednesday's episode (28 May). She announced the news on TikTok, stating: 'There's a new rule. We didn't used to be allowed to wear jeans, did we? But we can wear jeans now. This is amazing news for me.' The Independent has contacted ITV for comment. Humes' revelation arrives amid a huge shakeup for the channel's morning schedule. Last week, it was revealed that ITV is shortening Lorraine Kelly's hour-long show Lorraine by half and will reallocate those 30 minutes to Good Morning Britain instead, as part of a cost-cutting drive. This Morning will be unaffected by the scheduling changes, remaining in its usual time slot of 10am to 12.30pm. A source close to ITV told MailOnline: 'We were very open about the challenges in the industry and so several options were discussed – the key was ensuring Lorraine was retained and was as comfortable as possible in a changing landscape. 'Her show is still hugely valued – the show recently had its highest audience share in four years and still reaches 2.7 million people.' Earlier this month, part-time This Morning host Sian Welby admitted she was scared she would lose her stint if she told them she was pregnant before she started. The mother of one, 38, welcomed her nine-month-old daughter Ruby with her fiancé, Heart Breakfast producer Jake Beckett, last June. Welby was 20 weeks pregnant when she started co-hosting This Morning alongside O'Leary and kept her pregnancy a secret because she felt she had 'something to prove'. Speaking on Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Welby said: 'When you first start a job, you think 'Nobody knows what I'm actually like, that I'm trustworthy' and you have to prove yourself. 'I felt like I had proven myself, that I can do this and that. When I got that first This Morning cover with Dermot, I knew I was pregnant but I didn't tell anyone.' She said: 'In the back of my mind, I was thinking 'If I tell them I'm pregnant, will this put them off getting me in again?' And will they think 'Oh she's gonna be off for ages?''

Jamie Theakston, 54, hid his cancer diagnosis from wife and sons for weeks
Radio presenter Jamie Theakston has revealed he withheld his cancer news from his family for weeks after being diagnosed. The Heart Breakfast host, who presents alongside Amanda Holden, announced in October last year that he had stage one laryngeal cancer, a type that affects the larynx (voice box). According to the NHS website, symptoms include pain when swallowing, a lump or swelling in the neck, and a persistent sore throat. Jamie previously thanked radio listeners who had noticed a difference in his voice, which prompted him to get it checked. However, he chose not to tell his wife, Sophie Siegle, about his cancer right away in order to protect their happiness on a holiday with their kids. Jamie, 54, was determined to enjoy his trip to Japan with Sophie and their sons Sidney, 17, and Kit, 16, which made him want to 'suppress' reality for a few weeks. Speaking on the latest episode of Davina McCall's Begin Again podcast, Jamie recalled undergoing emergency scans before jetting off. 'I didn't tell anyone,' he shared. 'At that stage, I thought, well, it might not be cancer. So there's no point really in saying anything. 'I just tried to suppress it. All I could think was, 'It's probably not'.' When Jamie got his biopsy results and his cancer was confirmed, he told his wife. 'She was distraught,' he said of her reaction. 'I went on holiday with this in the back of my mind. We had a fantastic time – but obviously, this was there in the background.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video On breaking the news to his children, Jamie struggled with explaining to them that he was 'going to be fine' because they were 'too young to understand'. 'When you say you've got cancer to a 14-year-old, they think you're going to die,' he regaled. 'My youngest son had been with me when I was told my mum had died of cancer, so he knew what it meant,' he added. Jamie's mum died in 2022. 'I was so pleased that she had died before I got cancer,' he admitted. 'I would've hated for her to know. I'm not sure what that would've done to her.' Jamie had a total of three operations so doctors could be sure all cancerous cells had been removed. 'We were getting dangerously close to removing so much of the vocal cord that I wouldn't be able to talk again,' he told listeners. Thankfully, this wasn't necessary, and after his recovery, Jamie, now cancer-free, was able to return to the airwaves in January. During his first show back, he said on the mic: 'Thanks to everyone for making this morning feel very, very special. Thanks for your (the listeners') messages as well.' Audio clips were also played of Jamie's colleagues, friends, and family talking about his cancer diagnosis. His wife joined in, telling him: 'Hello, darling. It's me, Sophie. When we found out you had cancer, it was, wow, such a dark time.' His son, Sidney, added: 'Well done for getting through these past few months.' Jamie has since heaped praise on his 'amazing' co-host Amanda for her support, hailing her as a 'force of nature' for keeping the show afloat in his absence. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The Britain's Got Talent judge said when he returned to work: 'What an amazing man you are. You really fought very hard, Jamie, you've kept your sense of humour, which is the most important thing, I think. More Trending 'And isn't it wonderful? It's a terrible thing to go through, but it's a wonderful thing to see how many people love you.' Looking back on his experiences of the past year, Jamie, who must now have regular check-ups, describes it all as a 'gift' for shifting his outlook on life. 'I hope it'll make me a better parent. Maybe it might make me a better broadcaster. It certainly feels like it made me a better person.' If you or someone you care about has been diagnosed with cancer, Macmillan can offer support and information. You can contact their helpline on 0808 808 00 00 (7 days a week from 8am to 8pm), use their webchat service, or visit their site for more information. The Real Reason Olly Murs Walked Off Stage After 20 Minutes
It's been one month since Olly Murs' huge arena tour kicked off in Plymouth. However, crisis struck at last night's event in Glasgow when Murs walked off stage after just 20 minutes, and six songs into his set. This happened after struggles with the singer's voice. He had performed Kiss Me Like You Mean It when he made the confession to the 14,000 capacity Ovo Hydro venue: 'My voice has gone,' he said. 'I'm going to come back, but I need to go now.' The arena was reportedly left in silence and the lights went up. Afterwards, Murs took to Instagram to share a heartfelt apology, telling fans 'from the bottom of my heart' he was 'so sorry.' In the emotional video, Murs says: 'I've never done this in 15 years,' continuing 'most of the time, as singers, you can get through it if your voice is not 100%. I walked out tonight thinking my voice is great, maybe felt a little bit run down. But I didn't think I couldn't do the show or I wouldn't have come out otherwise.' He added that he is planning on seeing a doctor that evening ahead of shows in Manchester, Birmingham and London over the weekend. 'It's unfair for you guys who spent all that money to come and see me, you deserve the best show,' he said. 'Hopefully, I can recover from this.' This isn't the first time Murs has had to cancel a gig. Last month, he took to social media to tell fans that gigs in Hull and Brighton were not going ahead, thanks to a stomach bug which had also 'ripped through' his band. He wrote on Instagram: 'I hate that I have to write this & really so sorry to let you guys down, but unfortunately, we are having to reschedule our next two shows in Brighton & Hull. The gastroenteritis bug I had last night is currently ripping through our band and crew, which makes it impossible to put on a show for you,' adding 'We'll be taking a break for 48 hours to ensure everyone can be fit and healthy for the remainder of the tour. Thank you for understanding and we're working hard to bring you news of our rescheduled dates as soon as we can. Love Olly x.' Earlier this year, Olly shared the sweet news that he is expecting a second child with his wife Amelia. They welcomed their first child last year. Murs shared an insight into how he was finding life as a new dad with Mark Wright on their Heart Breakfast show, confessing: 'It was really hard for me as I had to leave two days after the baby was born to go on tour with Take That.' He continued: 'I didn't really process it at the time and a few months later me and Amelia were chatting and I just broke down in tears as I never got a chance to actually get to know this little baby.'

Amanda Holden looks chic in a plunging jumpsuit as she leaves work at Heart Breakfast
Amanda Holden looked chic in a plunging jumpsuit as she left work at Heart Breakfast in London on Wednesday. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 54, put on her usual stylish display in the white, fitted one piece which nipped in at the waist. She teamed it with a pair of classic stiletto heels, a quilted Dior handbag and added oversized sunglasses. Amanda was followed by her co-host Ashley who opted for a camel-coloured suede two-piece set. Consisting of a longline waistcoat and matching skirt, she paired her co-ord with nude heels. Global's Heart has become the UK's most popular radio brand, reaching 13.4 million listeners every week, beating Radio 2. Amanda and Jamie Theakston celebrated their highest ever listening figures as 4.3 million weekly listeners tune into Heart Breakfast. It remains the UK's biggest commercial breakfast show having increased in reach, hours and share in the last quarter – following Jamie's return after having treatment for stage one laryngeal cancer. Elsewhere, Amanda has kicked off her waxwork journey at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool this week. The presenter has now completed her inaugural sitting at the world-famous Merlin's Magic Making studio. She has undergone a meticulous measurement process by the highly specialised talented team of wax artists. Amanda was left 'speechless' after receiving her invitation to join their celebrity line-up, describing the process as 'surreal.' Her dazzling outfit was carefully selected to 'embody her glamour' and show off her 'vibrant personality'. Amanda said: 'I was in equal parts nervous and excited about the sitting.' Global's Heart has become the UK's most popular radio brand, reaching 13.4 million listeners every week, beating Radio 2 She continued: 'It's quite surreal knowing that soon there will be another me standing in Blackpool! And permanently! 'I've been joking with friends about what pose they should put me in! If I had my hard hat on I'd have suggested putting me and Alan Carr next to each other in preparation for our next renovation!' Back in February, Amanda was left speechless in the middle of hosting her Heart Breakfast Show when she received a surprise on-air invitation from Madame Tussauds Blackpool. A team of 25 craftsmen and women will take around 800 hours in total to complete her figure, including 350 hours in sculpture time alone. A further 180 hours will be spent inserting individual strands of hair while recreating Amanda's infectious smile - and perfect teeth - will command another 30 hours.
