Akshay Kumar has made a 91 per cent profit, not from any movie, but from real estate. As per reports, the Bollywood actor has sold two of his luxurious residential apartments located in Mumbai's Borivali for a whopping ₹7.10 crore. The actor reportedly enjoyed a massive 91 per cent profit as he sold these properties in June. As per a report in Square Yards, Akshay Kumar sold the two adjoining residential apartments. The apartments were spread across about 25 acres. The Oberoi Realty property is a ready-to-move-in residential project offering 3BHK, 3BHK+Studio, and duplex apartments. Akshay Kumar bought these apartments in 2017. While one apartment he bought for about ₹3.02 crore was now sold for ₹5.75 crore and spans across 1,101 sq. ft., including two car parking spaces. The stamp duty payment for the same cost ₹34.50 lakh and registration charges paid were ₹30,000. Meanwhile, the second apartment, which cost him ₹67.90 lakh at the time of purchase, is now sold for ₹1.35 crore. The transaction for this 252 sq. ft. carpet area flat included a stamp duty payment of ₹6.75 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000. In total, the actor sold both apartments for ₹7.10 crore and registered a 91.95 per cent profit in a span of 8 years. On the professional front, Akshay Kumar has several films lined up. Now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar has clarified that the controversy was not a publicity stunt. He shared, 'No. This wasn't a publicity stunt. The things went legal, so it cannot be a publicity stunt. Now, everything has been fixed. Now, at any moment, any kind of announcement can come. Thoda bahaut ho gaya tha upar niche (things went a little south), but now everything is resolved. And, we are all together. We have always been together. So, that's about it.'
