Prabhas will be next seen in The Raja Saab. He also has director Hanu Raghavapudi's Fauji, in his kitty Prabhas is one of the most bankable actors in the industry. He has many films, including Spirit, Salaar 2, and Fauji in his kitty. However, recently Prabhas opened up about his association with the production house Hombale Films. He described the bond as deeply personal and also hinted at many other films. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Telugu superstar Prabhas confirmed about more films with Hombale Films. Describing the relationship as 'like a family," Prabhas confirmed, 'We are planning for more films together," hinting at new ventures beyond their current agreements. Prabhas will be next seen in The Raja Saab. The romantic horror comedy directed by Maruthi is releasing on December 5, 2025. This film is being positioned as a lighter outing, showcasing the actor in a fun and entertaining avatar that contrasts with his recent intense roles. He also has an upcoming project with director Hanu Raghavapudi, tentatively titled Fauji, which is believed to revolve around themes of patriotism and drama, though details remain tightly guarded. Beside this, actor Prabhas is gearing up for what is touted to be one of the most ambitious collaborations of his career with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga in their upcoming film Spirit. Ever since the announcement, the project has generated a buzz across fan circles, with many speculating about its scale, emotional depth, and the actor's transformation for the role. Now, the wait for a major update is over. At a recent event in the United States, Sandeep's brother, Pranay Reddy Vanga, confirmed that the film will officially go on floors in September 2025. Spirit marks the first collaboration between the Baahubali star and the Kabir Singh director, and expectations are already sky-high. According to earlier reports, Sandeep had specifically requested Prabhas to allot bulk dates for the film, as the role will require a complete physical and stylistic overhaul. This level of transformation would make it difficult for the actor to shoot for other films concurrently, prompting Prabhas to wrap up his existing commitments before fully immersing himself into the world of Spirit. Sources close to the project indicate that the makers plan to shoot the film in a single, focused schedule to preserve narrative continuity and character integrity. Director Ashwin Kumar On Mahavatar Narsimha: ‘Our Gods Are The True Heroes Of Bharat'
Director Ashwin Kumar says Mahavatar Narsimha will revive Dharma and Shastric learning. The film releases in 3D and five languages on July 25, 2025. Filmmaker Ashwin Kumar is on a mission—not just to make a movie, but to reawaken a cultural consciousness that he believes has been fading for generations. As the director of the upcoming mythological epic Mahavatar Narsimha, Kumar is steering a cinematic journey deeply rooted in India's spiritual and philosophical legacy, hoping to bring children and young adults closer to their Dharma. 'Since Bharat was colonized, we must end our mental colonization by reviving Shastric studies, even without the traditional Gurukul system," Kumar stated. 'It is crucial that the younger generation learns about the various darshans, perspectives, narratives, and themes of our theology and texts in schools. Parents today are busy, and children remain uneducated in these matters, often forming confused ideas and feeling disconnected or even ashamed of their own Dharma." For Kumar, Mahavatar Narsimha is more than a retelling of Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar—it's a tribute to the timeless wisdom of India's ancient scriptures. He envisions the film as a tool for cultural and spiritual revival, especially for those who have grown up in an educational system that rarely touches upon the country's rich mythological and theological heritage. 'Educating them properly will instill pride in our culture and heritage," he said. 'Our Mahavatar Narsimha represents this legacy, a tribute to our Shastras and Dharma, bringing them back to the mainstream. Our Gods are the true heroes, and by engraving their stories in the minds of the youth, we help them find pride, understanding, logical clarity, and inner peace through our sacred texts." The film marks the beginning of a decade-long animated franchise presented by Hombale Films and Kleem Productions. The ambitious series will chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu, with the release roadmap laid out as follows: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), and the two-part finale, Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035) and Part 2 (2037). Mahavatar Narsimha, produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions and presented by the powerhouse Hombale Films, promises to blend visual spectacle with spiritual substance. Set to release in 3D and across five Indian languages, the film will hit theatres on 25th July 2025. First Published: July 17, 2025, 12:33 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Why did Prabhas agree to a 3-film deal with Hombale Films? Speaking to the media portal, Prabhas revealed that it was producer Vijay Kiragandur who convinced him to strike a three-film deal with the production company. Right from our first film, Salaar, it feels like home with him.' 'Similar to me, he keeps his childhood friends close and doesn't go out of the home much either. This connection we share made things even more natural,' he added. Prabhas continued to recall a story he heard from the sets of KGF. The actor revealed that once, when the Yash starrer's sets caught fire, everyone was tense, given the already high budget. However, Vijay was the one who calmed everyone else and told them not to worry about the budget. In conclusion, he added, 'I have heard similar stories from Kantara and other projects. He always tells the technicians, 'Quality is most important for my films. That's why I want to work with him, because he never compromises on quality.' Prabhas's upcoming movies Prabhas is next set to appear in the lead role for The Raja Saab. The horror comedy romantic flick, directed by Maruthi, tells the tale of a young man who wishes to renovate an ancestral home to inherit a huge fortune. With the Saaho actor in the lead, the movie features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and many more in key roles. Moving ahead, Prabhas is currently working on his period film, tentatively titled PrabhasHanu (Fauji), with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi. Apart from the 3-film deal he has with Hombale, the Rebel Star will also be headlining Spirit under Sandeep Reddy Vanga's direction.

Actor Yuva on uncle Shiva Rajkumar's towering screen presence: He has that aura
Every cinema superstar in India has one thing in common, and that is absolute screen presence. Yuva Rajkumar, grandson of matinee legend Dr Rajkumar and nephew of Shiva Rajkumar and the late Puneeth Rajkumar, believes it is the aura one personally carries that enhances an actor's on-screen persona, creating brilliant cinematic moments through sheer an exclusive chat with India Today Digital, the young actor, who is busy promoting his second film 'Ekka', shared his thoughts on the magic behind the screen presence of Indian superstars. He said, 'It's an aura they bring. It's probably an aura that some people have as individuals itself. It's not something that you see only in films.'advertisementTalking about Shiva Rajkumar's screen presence, the 'Yuva' actor added, 'When you talk about my Doddappa (Uncle), Shivanna, I'm sure if you just meet him you will feel his aura. And that is not because he is an actor or a superstar - as an individual, he always has that aura. I don't know if it is something you can work on or if it's just natural.' Taking Shiva Rajkumar's viral tissue box scene from Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' as an example, he said, 'Shivanna's one tissue box scene - it is just one scene, but you know the kind of impact that one scene made. It could have been shot and shown in multiple ways, but I think for that scene to do what it did in the film, it is because of his screen presence. I think it is something that people have or something that develops over time.' Yuva Rajkumar made his feature film debut as a lead actor in 'Yuva' in March 2024. The film was backed by Vijay Kiragandur's Hombale Films and directed by Santhosh Ananddram, who had previously delivered blockbusters like 'Rajakumara' and 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari'. The film turned out to be a box office success, with many praising Yuva's finesse in action and 'Yuva', the actor took his time to pick his next project, 'Ekka'. This intense commercial action film has been directed by Rohit Padaki of 'Rathnan Prapancha' fame and features Sanjana Anand, Sampada Hulivana, Aditya, Atul Kulkarni and Poornachandra Mysore alongside Yuva Rajkumar.
