Iran vows 'strong response' to any attack
Shafaq News/ On Sunday, the Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), Hossein Salami, declared that despite facing a formidable global coalition of adversaries, Iran continues to enjoy internal peace and stability. Speaking at a ceremony honoring veterans of the Iran-Iraq War, Salami reaffirmed the IRGC's 'unwavering stance', stating, 'The Revolutionary Guard will stand powerfully against the enemies.' Earlier, Iran's military warned that any threat or act of aggression would be met with a decisive response. 'We will not allow the enemy's illusions to materialize,' the army stressed in a statement, emphasizing the full preparedness of Iran's armed forces to defend the nation's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national security. The remarks come amid growing tensions, fueled by reports of Israeli preparations for a swift strike on Iran's nuclear facilities should US-Iran nuclear negotiations collapse.

IRGC chief says Iran considers Trump ‘murderer' of Qassem Soleimani
The chief commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, told US President Donald Trump on Thursday that the Iranian nation considered him the 'murderer' of former Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani. Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force, the overseas arm of the IRGC. He was killed in Iraq in a drone strike on January 3, 2020, ordered by Trump during his first term in office. Trump had said earlier that the United States was getting very close to securing a nuclear deal with Tehran.

Salami: America yielded to Yemen's power, Gaza thwarted superpowers
Tehran – Saba: Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Hossein Salami said on Tuesday "Iran's power in confronting global challenges and enemy threats has increased significantly, and we are facing problems with greater confidence." According to Tasnim International News Agency, at the conclusion of the conference of teachers and leaders of Al-Salihin Educational Network, held in the holy city of Mashhad, he praised the strength of the people of Gaza in confronting Israel and America. Salami noted the achievements of the Yemenis in confronting America, and highlighted the strength of "Yemen," saying, "The faith of these people is unshakable. When we speak with them, we find that their language is purely Quranic. This courage and faith enabled them to crush America and Israel." He added, "US President Donald Trump praised Yemen and described them as amazing." He declared a unilateral ceasefire, showing that even the enemies recognize Yemen's strength. Salami said, "After two months of intensive bombing in Yemen, America has reached the conclusion that it has achieved nothing. This demonstrates their weakness and failure." He added, "The American aircraft carriers, which are like floating cities, were unable to make any progress, and the enemy saw that damaging them would cause major problems for America, so they were forced to cease fire." Salami said, "In Gaza, people are living without water or food and are facing harsh conditions. Yet, they were able to thwart two superpowers: America, as the main supporter of Israel," according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

600 missiles attack: Iran warns Israel, US
Shafaq News/ On Tuesday, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Major General Hossein Salami warned that Iran could launch 600 missiles simultaneously at Israel and US forces across the region if conflict erupts. 'If we fire 600 missiles at once, can the enemy withstand it?' Salami asked during a televised speech. 'Our enemies do not understand the consequences of their threats. Even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is afraid to visit Azerbaijan,' he added. Salami described Iran's position as 'increasingly resilient,' with growing confidence in navigating regional and global challenges. He also characterized current conflicts as no longer limited to conventional warfare, but unfolding across media, culture, and ideology. Gaza, he noted, reflects how determination can confront military superiority. Turning to Yemen, Salami highlighted US aircraft carriers avoiding direct confrontation and a subsequent unilateral ceasefire by Washington, interpreting the move as a signal of strategic restraint.

Iran unveils new underground military drone base
Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) showcased a new underground military drone base in a video showing the facility's layout and weaponry. It portrayed an advanced unmanned system capable of evading radar detection and conducting surveillance of American naval assets. Iran is aiming to protect its assets from potential air strikes and surveillance, particularly from Israel or the US, at a time where tensions are high. In the inauguration ceremony, IRGC Major General Hossein Salami said, "What the Iranian people witness today represents only a fraction of the IRGC Navy's substantial drone capabilities." The video, released by the country's national television, also showed the underground base's integration of various missile platforms and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). During the past few months, the IRGC has unveiled several underground missile bases and a subterranean naval base. Mr Salami warned earlier this week that Tehran would "open the gates of hell" if attacked by the US or Israel. His remarks came after strong threats issued by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, who warned his country would act against Iran in the same way it did with its proxies in the region. "What we have done to Hezbollah in Beirut, to Hamas in Gaza, to Assad in Damascus, we will do to you in Tehran," Mr Katz said, referring to deposed former Syrian president Bashar Al Assad. Iran and the US are set to hold a fourth round of nuclear talks in Oman on Sunday. US President Donald Trump, who withdrew Washington from a 2015 deal between Tehran and world powers meant to curb its nuclear activity, has threatened to bomb Iran if no new deal is reached to resolve the long unresolved dispute. Three previous rounds of talks in Oman and Rome ended with notes of optimism, with the two sides saying the atmosphere was friendly despite the countries' four decades of enmity. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier raised the possibility of Iran importing enriched uranium for any civilian energy. Iran has found itself in a weaker place over the past year. Israel has decimated Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shiite militia backed by Iran that could launch a counter-attack in any war, and Iran's main ally in the Arab world, Mr Assad, was toppled in December. The talks come ahead of President Trump's visit to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar next week.
