Jax Taylor has quit social media in an effort to protect his mental health. The 45-year-old reality TV star – who previously confessed to battling a drug addiction – has announced that he's taking a break from social media platforms, as he focuses on his 'mental health and recovery". Jax – who has Cruz, four, with Brittany Cartwright, his estranged wife – wrote on Instagram Story: 'I've made the decision to stay off social media for the next while to prioritize my mental health and recovery. My team will be running it for the time being. (sic)" Jax confessed that certain posts on social media can be triggering. Speaking on 'In the Mind of Jax Taylor', he explained: 'My brain is so fragile, and if I see certain things, they might trigger me. Something might hit a chord, and I don't think I'm strong enough to read certain things. For me to grow and get better and be a better person, there are some things I need to see in order to know what's going on. But I think I took it so much to the extreme of blocking everything and living in my own little world." Jax feels he now needs to cut himself off from social media platforms. He said, 'The phone has become a problem. Do I need to be on social media? No, I don't." Meanwhile, Jax previously admitted that he's been battling a cocaine addiction for more than 20 years. He said on the 'Hot Mic' podcast, 'I have substance issues – primarily with cocaine. It's hard to say out loud. I've been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I'm 45. There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I'd go heavy on it. I just want to let people know this is a really, really tough disease and it's a really tough sickness." Brittany subsequently claimed that she spent years trying to help Jax to 'get better". She said on 'When Reality Hits', 'No one wants Jax to be better more than I do, let's be real. 'I tried and tried and tried for years to help this man get better and for us to be a happy family, I was deeply and madly in love with him, there's no one that can ever deny that," she concluded. Brittany Cartwright worried Jax Taylor might 'spy' on her
Brittany Cartwright feared Jax Taylor would "spy" on her following their separation. The 36-year-old reality star filed for a divorce from Jax in August 2024, and Brittany remained in their family home following their break-up. Brittany - who has Cruz, four, with Jax - said on 'The Valley': "Now that Jax is moving into the condo, which I'm still so p***** about, at least from all of this me and Cruz get to move back into our house where we belong. "I'm taking care of our mortgage, even though I already have two-and-a-half months paid up in this rental, so I'm paying double now." Jax had cameras installed in their family home before his split from Brittany. But the reality TV star went around her home covering the cameras with stickers, while Jax was spending time in rehab. Brittany insisted: "He's not gonna spy on me." Brittany also speculated that Jax, 45, could've bugged their house. She said: "Do you think that he put a bug in here? "Unless he put some secret devices around this house, our interior cameras don't have sound. But we are speaking about Jax Taylor here, I don't put anything past him anymore." Jax previously admitted that he's been battling a cocaine addiction for more than 20 years. He said on the 'Hot Mic' podcast: "I have substance issues - primarily with cocaine. It's hard to say out loud. I've been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I'm 45. "There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I'd go heavy on it. Dorit Kemsley's ex PK takes nasty swipe at her over playing 'victim' after divorce filing and PDA bombshell
Dorit Kemsley filed for divorce from her estranged husband on Friday, and the drama started almost immediately. The reality star, 48, filed her petition with the court the morning after photos of Paul 'PK' Kemsley, 57, making out with Amazing Race alum Shana Wall, were published. Hours after that, the talent manager posted on Instagram 'No one plays the victim better than the one who caused the damage,' with the Culture Club song Victims playing beneath it. The message was quickly deleted as PK apparently had second thoughts about the post. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the two deciding to go their separate ways. She is asking for sole legal and physical custody of their son Jagger, 11, and daughter Phoenix, nine. Dorit Kemsley filed for divorce from her estranged husband on Friday, and the drama started almost immediately. The couple have been separated since May 2024 Dorit is also seeking coverage of her legal fees and spousal support. When they announced their separation in May 2024, the pair seemed to want to keep it friendly. 'To safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,' the wrote on social media. However, Dorit dissed PK on RHOBH, saying he was a bad dad and calling him a 'full-blown alcoholic.' PK fought back against those allegations on Bravo's Hot Mic podcast in December 2024, explaining that he as sober, and proud of it. 'Obviously, my alcoholism had an element of responsibility in relation to the breakdown of our marriage, but that was just a component' he explained. 'Alcoholism is a symptom; it's not a cause. … So it's not fair to say, 'He was a fully-blown alcoholic; that's why we separated."' On the RHOBH Season 14 reunion, Andy Cohen read a statement from PK which said, 'The Dorit I married would never have allowed this, much less caused it.' 'That woman embodied kindness, integrity and grace. I can only hope this version of Dorit finds her way back to the person she once was.' In an interview with RollerCoaster magazine, Dorit said she was 'completely blindsided' by the statement. She admitted being sorry for making those allegations. 'I never believed that things could ever get to a place where our bond and the foundation would ever be broken to the extent that we could do things to hurt each other that crosses the line.'

Jax Taylor believes early diagnosis could've saved marriage
Jax Taylor thinks he could've saved his marriage if he received his bipolar-disorder diagnosis sooner. The 45-year-old reality TV star was diagnosed with the mental health condition in September - but by then, his marriage to Brittany Cartwright had already fallen apart. He said on the 'In the Mind of Jax Taylor' podcast: "This is the first time in my 45 years of life that I had to ask for help because I just couldn't do it anymore. I just, I couldn't bear the weight. And I just - I surrendered. I surrendered." Jax has been using a mood stabiliser called Lamotrigine, and it's actually changed his life. The former 'Vanderpump Rules' star shared: "I'm on it, and I absolutely love it." Jax now regrets that he didn't start using Lamotrigine even sooner. The reality star - who has Cruz, four, with Brittany - said: "I never miss a day, and it's literally changed my life. I wish I would've took it sooner. Probably would've saved my marriage." Jax - who split from Brittany in 2024 - previously admitted that he's been battling a cocaine addiction for more than 20 years. He said on the 'Hot Mic' podcast: "I have substance issues - primarily with cocaine. It's hard to say out loud. I've been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I'm 45. "There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I'd go heavy on it. "I just want to let people know this is a really, really tough disease and it's a really tough sickness." Brittany subsequently claimed that she spent years trying to help Jax to "get better". The 'Valley' star also admitted that she was "deeply and madly in love" with Jax, despite his troubles. She said on the 'When Reality Hits' podcast: "No one wants Jax to be better more than I do, let's be real. "I tried and tried and tried for years to help this man get better and for us to be a happy family, I was deeply and madly in love with him, there's no one that can ever deny that."
