What happened when Katrina Kaif met her ‘look-alike' at the Race movie premiere? Actress Zareen Khan shares a video

Long before Zareen Khan made her Bollywood debut alongside Salman Khan in Veer in 2010, she was just another fan in the crowd—one with a dream and a striking resemblance to a certain A-list star. In a resurfaced video from 2008, a starstruck Zareen is seen meeting Katrina Kaif at the premiere of Race, eagerly collecting her autograph with a wide, disbelieving grin. Now, years later, Zareen has shared that moment on Instagram, pulling fans into a time capsule of fangirl energy, quiet tension, and what now feels like cinematic foreshadowing. Zareen captioned the clip with fondness, calling it a 'memory that's still so fresh.' She recalled how a friend got her passes to the premiere, where she got to witness Bollywood up close for the first time. Back then, she never imagined she'd one day enter the same industry—or be constantly compared to the very woman signing her autograph that night. While Zareen radiates joy, Katrina appears distant, barely acknowledging the fan in front of her. Viewers have since speculated whether Katrina sensed something more than just a familiar face in the crowd. Was it a coincidence—or did she already know about the newcomer rumoured to be Salman Khan's next launch, a woman often dubbed her doppelganger? Though no direct interaction beyond the autograph occurred, that night became symbolic in hindsight. Two years later, Zareen entered the industry, often referred to in headlines as Katrina's lookalike. Her performances in Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, and 1921 helped her carve her own path, while her stint in Punjabi cinema added another layer to her identity beyond the comparisons.

She recently took a trip down memory lane and shared a nostalgic video of her younger self getting an autograph from Katrina Kaif at the premiere of Race (2008). Posting the clip on Instagram, Zareen wrote, 'Oh my Goddd! Came across this video and the memory is still so fresh. I clearly remember this moment... it's from the premiere of the movie RACE. 'Housefull 5' box office collection day 6 (LIVE): The multi-starrer movie has a decent beginning on Wednesday after crossing Rs 110 crore

After 'Housefull 5' had a good opening day number along with jump over the weekend, all eyes were on the weekday numbers which would play a crucial role in determining the film's fate. But it has managed to hold decently well on Monday and Tuesday. Of course, while a dip on Monday was expected, the film will manage to sail through if it manages to stick to a double digit number this whole week. Plus, there's also some growth expected on the second weekend. The film had an opening of Rs 24 crore on Day 1. On Saturday and Sunday, it minted Rs 31 crore and Rs 32.5 crore respectively. On Monday though, it saw a dip of around 60 percent, making Rs 13 crore. On Tursday, which is day 5, it again saw a drop but atleast remained in the two digit numbers. The early trend of Wednesday also looks similar to Tuesday. On Day 6, till the morning and afternoon shows, it has made Rs 2.35 crore. The total collection so far, in India, according to Sacnilk is Rs 114.1 crore. It should be able to make minimum Rs 10 crore on day 6 and remain the same on Thursday and Friday as well. The film being a multistarrer and shot on a cruise with some exquisite production values is mounted on a huge budget of over Rs 225 crore. Thus, it's very important for the movie to continue to hold up well. It was expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in four days which it has managed to do very well. The collection and trend for the film is much better than Salman Khan 's 'Sikandar'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ready-to-Move In 2/3 BHK @ ₹5400/Sqft Undo Just 10 min to Annanagar Undo Fully equipped with Modern amenities Undo However, the coming days and the upcoming weekend will be crucial. Aamir Khan 's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is releasing on June 20 and that may serve some competition to it. The number of screens for 'Housefull 2' may also reduce, which may lead to a dip in the numbers. But till then, the film has an open window to continue to perform well at the box office. However, the trade feels that had this one been a family entertainer, just like its previous parts, it would have done even better in some sectors. This time around, it has a bit of an adult comedy with an element of a thriller. Day wise collection of 'Housefull 5' Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 24 Cr - Day 2 [1st Saturday] ₹ 31 Cr Day 3 [1st Sunday] ₹ 32.5 Cr Day 4 [1st Monday] ₹ 13 Cr - Day 5 [1st Tuesday] ₹ 11.25 Cr Day 6 [1st Wednesday] ₹ 2.35 Cr ** - Total ₹ 114.1 Cr
