Meet the 'Next Gen NYC' on Bravo Cast
The Real Housewives franchise premiered 19 years ago with its first edition, The Real Housewives of Orange County, and it has grown massively from there. That means there has been plenty of time and plenty of opportunities for viewers to literally watch the children of the Housewives grow up... and to wonder if there would ever be a day when they'd become reality stars themselves. Well, that day has come. While we still haven't seen a Real Housewives' kid become a Real Housewife themselves, there are a few Housewives offspring starring on the new Bravo show Next Gen NYC. The show follows a group of (mostly) Gen Z friends living in New York City with all of their friendship drama, relationship drama, and work drama—you know, typical reality TV show stuff. And while Bravo fans might not recognize all of the cast members, there are a few very familiar faces. Read on to learn more about the cast of Next Gen NYC. Ariana Biermann is the daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, an OG Real Housewives of Atlanta star. The 23-year-old is Kim's second oldest kid, and she appeared on early seasons of RHOA and on her family's spinoff show, Don't Be Tardy. According to her bio on the Bravo website, her New York City dream to is launch a clothing line. Instagram: @rileyburruss Ava Dash is a 25-year-old model, who is the daughter of fashion designer Rachel Roy and Roc-A-Fella Records co-founded Damon Dash. Ava was born in New York, and the show sees her returning to the city after living in Los Angeles. Fun fact: Ava has a connection to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She appeared on the show as Crystal Kung-Minkoff's nanny and she dated Diana Jenkins' son, Innis. The 24-year-old is also a podcast host and influencer. Instagram: @_giagiudice The last child of a Housewife on the cast is Brooks Marks, the son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks. New Yorker Who Lived Downstairs From Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz for 10 Years Reveals What Actors Were Really Like as ‘Neighbors'
A New York influencer who once lived in the same building as Hollywood couple Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz has opened up about what it was really like to be 'neighbors' with the A-list actors. Ilana Wiles, a content creator who has earned close to 500,000 TikTok followers by sharing candid 'day in the life of a New York City mom' clips on the platform, revealed the identity of her famous former neighbors in a recent video that was posted as part of the popular 'holy airball' trend. The viral trend, which was inspired by a basketball-themed meme, sees TikTokers hitting back at common misconceptions about their life, family, or careers—usually in a bid to reveal something impressive about their background. Videos posted as part of the trend typically begin with the content creator revealing a simple fact about themselves alongside a photo. In Wiles' case, she wrote: 'Told them my upstairs neighbor was a celebrity,' while posting an image of herself posing in her kitchen. That fact is then followed up with a stranger's less-than-impressed response to that statement. 'So like, one of the Housewives?' Wiles wrote in her video—joking that people always assumed the star she was referring to was a member of the Bravo cast. Then, finally, the truth about the fact is revealed, with Wiles sharing that her neighbors were of a more high-brow Hollywood class, sharing an image of Craig and Weisz with the hashtag #holyairball. In the caption of her clip, the TikTok star shared some further details about her living situation when she was neighbors with the A-list couple. 'For the record, neither of us live there anymore but they were our upstairs neighbors for 10 years!' she wrote. 'I only have nice things to say.' The building in which Craig, Weisz, and Wiles once lived is located on East 10th Street in the East Village. The 'James Bond' star and his wife owned a $6 million penthouse unit for seven years, before selling it in 2019. According to records, the couple, who began dating in 2010, purchased the three-bedroom dwelling in October 2012, then listed it for sale in May 2019 for $6.5 million—just $500,000 more than they had bought it for. They accepted an offer of $6 million in August of that same year. Meanwhile, Wiles and her family lived in a rented unit two floors down, which was last leased for $11,000 a month, according to records. After selling their penthouse in 2019, Craig and Weisz moved to Brooklyn, where they bought a brownstone property in Cobble Hill in 2018. The couple paid $6.75 million for the six-bedroom dwelling with 6,600 square feet of living space. The home was located on 'one of Cobble Hill's most beloved blocks,' the original listing stated. 'This is one of Cobble Hill's largest homes in an ideal location,' the description went on, noting that the dwelling had undergone an extensive renovation in 2011, which saw it outfitted with an elevator, among other updates. The home had been damaged in a fire and required extensive work when it was purchased by the couple. Listing images at the time showed that the property had several unfinished rooms, including a stunning living space with private elevator access and an outdoor terrace. The bones of the home were still awe-inspiring. Several of the rooms boasted fireplaces and enormous windows. Horrific condition filled me with rage…I was worried Phil was going to leave – now I have 4-hour op, says Tanya Bardsley
Tanya has been suffering for years because experts failed to correctly diagnose her BARD TO WORSE Horrific condition filled me with rage…I was worried Phil was going to leave – now I have 4-hour op, says Tanya Bardsley THEIR high-profile marriage may have got them a hit fly-on-the-wall series, but Tanya Bardsley admits there are some days when she 'can't bear' her husband Phil. The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star is suffering from a condition that has left her in crippling agony and plunged her into such a hormonal 'nightmare' that it is putting pressure on her 11-year marriage to the former Sunderland footballer. 4 Tanya Bardsley says the agony caused by the condition affecting her uterus sends her into a rage Credit: Supplied 4 Tanya admits there are some days when she 'can't bear' her husband Phil Credit: Getty 4 Tanya and husband Phil with children, from left, Rocco, Renz, Ralphi and Gabriella Credit: Instagram/thebardsleybunch Tanya says: 'There are times when I feel like I can't bear him — if he breathes too loud, for example — and poor Phil, he's probably not even done anything, he's just been himself. 'He deserves a medal — but he hasn't left me, that's the main thing. 'That shows what kind of man he is because some days I just don't even want to hang around with myself. 'It's like something has taken over your body and you can't control it. I am like an ogre stomping around. 'The rage just comes up inside of me and takes over. I'm horrible to be around, but obviously my oestrogen is low and the ogre is out. 'You go from fear of losing your partner and your family to this rage where you just don't give a s**t about anything or anyone. It's horrible.' Tanya is the longest-serving cast member of the Housewives and now appears in reality show The Bardsley Bunch on ITVBe and ITVX with Phil and their four kids. But for years she has also been suffering from a crippling condition called adenomyosis, where tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus leading to pain and heavy bleeding that can significantly affect daily life. 'I've been doubled up on all fours on the floor' It is often linked to hormonal imbalances, and in particular, elevated levels of oestrogen. Horror as Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley reveals masked men attempted to raid mansion while family were home_1 Today 44-year-old Tanya reveals that she is about to have a hysterectomy, and is terrified. She says: 'I have fibroids in my womb too. They are benign growths but can reach the size of a melon. 'I am often in so much pain that I feel like I'm giving birth. It is excruciating — it's been horrific recently.' Tanya has been suffering for years because experts failed to correctly diagnose her. She says: 'I started getting really bad pain but my previous gynae- cologist didn't know what was wrong with me. I eventually booked in to see a specialist who diagnosed adenomyosis and fibroids. 4 Tanya appears in reality show The Bardsley Bunch on ITVBe and ITVX with Phil and their four kids 'Getting that diagnosis was such a relief because it made me realise I wasn't going mad, that something was really wrong. 'The pain is unbearable at times. It's like childbirth but it doesn't come in waves like contractions — it is constant. 'I've been doubled over on all fours on the floor having to pant through it, just crying my eyes out and sometimes telling Phil that I think he's going to have to take me to A&E. 'It's so intense and then eases off a bit but then comes back. It's really traumatic for Phil to see me in so much pain. 'It affects everything in your life — your social life, your work life. Some days I literally cannot get out of bed.' The hysterectomy will take four hours followed by weeks of recovery. Tanya says: 'Losing my womb is just an awful thought. That's where my babies were — it's what womanhood is about. I think because I've been through so many dark times and I have tried to take my own life in the past, I know that whatever pain I'm going through, it's not the end Tanya Bardsley 'I'm really scared I'll feel less of a woman without it, but I know this is my only option. 'The recovery time is about six weeks, so I am getting it done in the summer after Phil's 40th birthday celebrations.' Tanya first found fame as a model. She was one of FHM's High Street Honeys in 2002 and was included in the lads' mag's 100 Sexiest Women. In 2014 she married Phil and they went on to have children Gabriella, 23, Rocco, 16, Renz, 12, and eight-year-old Ralphi. She joined up for the first series of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire in 2015 with Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon, Leanne Brown and Magali Gorre. Now Tanya and Phil, who is assistant manager of Macclesfield, live in luxury in a £2million Cheshire home. But just a few days ago masked intruders tried to break in while the family slept before they were scared off by the property's security system. It is the latest harrowing ordeal for Tanya, who entered perimenopause when she was just 38 and has been suffering ever since. At 39 she was diagnosed with ADHD after years of struggling with anxiety and suicidal thoughts. She tells The Sun on Sunday: 'Because of the pain and hormones, my mental health is awful right now. 'You just feel like you've got a big black cloud in your head. 'But I think because I've been through so many dark times and I have tried to take my own life in the past, I know that whatever pain I'm going through, it's not the end. 'Imagine guys going through perimenopause' 'I think that's why I don't worry about myself going into a dark place any more. I can just wait it out.' Following her diagnosis, Tanya — supported by Phil — had some agonising discussions with experts before finally deciding that she should have a hysterectomy. She explained: 'My doctor says the cure for me to get rid of the pain is a hysterectomy. 'My mum actually had one when she was 37. She told me her womb was riddled with fibroids, but she probably had adenomyosis as well but it just wasn't diagnosed. 'She was in the same kind of pain I am. 'Phil and I have completed our family — he has had the snip. So we decided together this is the next step for me. But I'm really scared about it. 'There's no option that doesn't bring its own risks. 'Sometimes I'm thinking, 'Well, this is just pain. What if I end up with blood clots or an infection or something else if I get an operation?' 'I've had so many things wrong with me over the years that now I'm scared of creating something else.' Tanya openly admits she is no stranger to going under the knife. She has had several cosmetic surgeries ranging from a face lift, two boob jobs, liposuction and a brow lift. But it has not always been straightforward. What is a hysterectomy? A hysterectomy is an operation to remove the womb, which marks the end of a woman's reproductive period. After having the surgery, you will no longer be able to get pregnant - and your periods will stop. There were around 30,500 hysterectomies carried out in England in 2012 and 2013, mostly for women in their 40s. Hysterectomies are carried out to treat conditions that affect the female reproductive system. These include heavy periods, long-term pelvic pain or non-cancerous tumours. In some cases, women have hysterectomies to treat ovarian, uterine, fallopian tube or cervical cancer. There are different types of operations - depending on whether the woman has her whole womb, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tube and/or cervix removed. In a radical hysterectomy - the lymph glands, fatty tissue and part of the vagina are also removed. She ended up with a blood clot in her breast due to her second boob job after Ralph was born. Tanya said: 'I've learned that with cosmetic surgery you can fix one problem and cause another, so knowing you're about to have more surgery is a scary place to be.' To help other women, she is going to document the operation and her recovery for The Bardlsey Bunch, which gives viewers a warts-and-all look at her home life with Phil. She says: 'I have had so many messages from women over the years who have taken comfort in me speaking out about perimenopause, so I think it's important to show this side of what's going on with me. 'It might help other women to not feel so alone. 'With perimenopause I thought I was going crazy. 'I just wasn't being listened to. I was even given antidepressants. I felt like no one was taking me seriously and then you're just left feeling like everyone hates you. 'So many women said they experienced the same thing. 'I swear if a man had to go through what we did, there would be serious changes that happen quickly. 'Imagine these guys going through perimenopause. 'Every top scientist, every doctor around the world, all the government's money would be on it. 'I once called an ambulance for Phil because we thought something was seriously wrong with him — it turned out to be bad trapped wind. 'I will never let him forget that, ever!'

Tanya Bardsley horrified as 'masked men' target lavish home as she slept inside
Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley and her family were sleeping at her lavish home when two masked men allegedly attempted to gain entry to the property Tanya Bardsley has been left shocked after masked men attempted to break into her home. The Real Housewives of Cheshire star has told how her home in the leafy region was targeted by the masked men on Friday night. The former model has taken to social media, sharing video footage of one son, Rocco, 16, standing on the driveway of the family home alongside two police officers and a member of a private security firm. Tanya, 44, and her family, including husband, Macclesfield assistant manager Phil, 39, were at home with their children when the incident occurred. It's believed that police were alerted about the attempted break-in after it was flagged on Tanya and Phil's home security system, which is monitored by an external company. Taking to Instagram, Tanya shared a video showing a police car parked outside the gates of her home as the police spoke on their radios. "Two masked men in Wilmslow lock your doors put your cameras on and call police if you see them," she said. Tanya added: "Thank God for @tarussecuritygroup." Now, a source has claimed that while the family were at home, they were fortunate enough that the break-in failed and nobody was injured. "The family was home at the time, but luckily nobody was harmed," a source told The Sun. The source went on to add: "Security and police turned up as fast they could, but the two masked men got away." The Mirror has approached Tanya and Cheshire Police for comment. Tanya and Phil are not the only stars of the Real Housewives franchise to be targeted by brazen thieves. Her former co-star, Nicole Sealey, was left shaken in 2022 when armed robbers gained access to her Cheshire home with crowbars. It's believed that the armed thieves who entered Nicole's home, which she shares with her husband, former footballer Joe, went straight for their valuables, which included Nicole's engagement and wedding rings as well as several Rolex watches. The scary incident comes after Tanya and Phil opened up to the Mirror about their decision to open their doors for the cameras once again, but on their own reality show. Previously, former Manchester United FC legend Phil had ruled out appearing on their own programme but reluctantly gave in to pressures from his family. "We had to wear him down," said Tanya when asked on how she persuaded Phil to take part. She went on to add: "Complete peer pressure from the whole family but we got there." Although both have had glittering careers, Tanya admits that having their own show was "a lot harder" than shows, including Housewives. "Even when I'm not filming, I've got to be there for the kids filming. It was a lot, but I've loved it," she said. But having both been in the business since 2003, Tanya admits that the biggest thing she's learnt about herself – she "can't keep her mouth shut," as Phil joked: "That's nothing new, is it?" This is seen in one episode, with Tanya oversharing with some of her friends about Phil's manscaping. "Phil's got a d**k-fringe," she laughed. Explaining the bombshell, Tanya revealed: "He was in the shower for a long time, obviously he had a razor and he got a bit experimental. He walked out and he's got a d**k-fringe. I told Jenny Powell this. As soon as it came out, I was like 'S**t, he's going to kill me!' because I'd said it on camera, I had to tell him on camera that I said it. "He took it well." Although he's been married to Tanya since 2014, Phil admitted: "Nothing surprises us with Tanya, with what comes out of her mouth." She joked that she often told her Housewives co-stars about Phil's manhood and joked he should be proud, as she would also tell them if it wasn't up to scratch. "I appreciate the compliment," Phil joked. When asked about their relationship, Phil joked that he was there to "put fires out" after Tanya's hilarious outbursts. This show will be different to how Tanya has been seen on TV as she won't be getting "dolled up" all the time, only when she's heading on a night out. "We're slouching around, the crew have become sort of part of the family, we don't do scenes – we're just being us," she said. Phil added: "It's more off the cuff stuff is what people want to see."
